Annabel, who I’ve had the pleasure of taking many classes with, does a fantastic job of writing about astrology in an incredibly accessible way, that gives both plenty of fun factoids for playful banter with your crush OR the solid base you will need for further study, if you decide to pursue it. Eagerly awaiting further books!
Enjoyed this read and my mom enjoyed it even more than I did!
Edit: I forgot to add the thank you to the author, publisher, and GoodReads for this copy because I got it in a giveaway :) Books are always so much better when you get them from someone so thank you so much!
2.5 stars rounded up. Very surface level stuff. I’d have benefited from a deeper dive into Moon signs and how they work within the bigger picture, but that, sadly, didn’t happen in this book.
Since I only read the introduction and the section for my own moon sign, I'm including this as one of my books read but not counting it for my 2023 yearly total or challenges. Interesting and insightful read with beautiful illustrations. I'm a Scorpio Moon and the description was pretty damn accurate, give or take a few things.
I’ve been back down the rabbit hole of astrology signs and I liked that this was a quick read for covering the moon signs. Reading about Aquarius moon for me and Capricorn moon for my husband was spot on. Then it was also fun reading about my kids and friends moon signs as well. All around I found this book very accurate for me. I’ll probably take a look at this author’s other astrology books.
As someone who didn't know too much beyond the basics of astrology and my birth chart, this book was very helpful in learning more. The format of the book made it easy to learn more about myself. Lastly, my favorite thing was the illustrations in the book. They were beautiful.
Cute book for beginners! This isn’t very in depth and I don’t particularly love when books only list the positive traits and don’t include any potential negative inclinations, but this will be a good book for someone casually dabbling in astrology! I enjoyed the progressed moon sections a lot!
I love anything that helps me think about the world and people from a new viewpoint. This book looks at each sign as a strength and beautifully describes the impact of each sign’s connection to and distinction from one another.
Loved the description of my Virgo Moon sign. I ‘‘twas a little bit different insight , more on the creative, “practical magic” side that I’ve appreciated. Modem illustrations.
I would have liked more general information about horoscopes regarding the moon in different signs, but it was a good overview of how each moon sign influences a person in all aspects of their life.
this was a cute, insightful lil read. made me realize I attract a lot of cancer, virgo, capricorn and aqua moons into my life (i’m an aqua moon). the cover, pages and illustrations are gorgeous :’)
This is a BEAUTIFUL book that you'll want to share with your friends. Most people know about their Sun sign in Astrology but not many go more in-depth to learn about their Moon sign. This book would be fun to share at a party or just a get-together with a friend.
Moon signs don’t get as much love as they should! Especially as I age and get to know myself more, I find my Moon sign to be prominent in the rhyme and reason behind my emotions. I love that this book breaks down so many aspects of our lives as they relate to our Moon signs. The illustrations and layout are aesthetically above and beyond, but the descriptions are anything but bite-sized cliches. Annabel Gat has ensured each chapter is well-rounded with information, bound to surprise and delight.
Exelente recurso para todo astrólogo o neófito que quiera adentrarse en el significado del signo lunar y cómo relacionarse a partir de la luna con otros individuos. El tono de Gatt es divertido, amigable y simple, sin tecnicismos.
