This was really good. I haven't read much science fiction erotica, but this I liked. There's insta-love, but it's scientific insta-love in this case. A race of dino aliens needs females to breed with, so Earth makes an arrangement to scientifically match up human females with alien males. The women are given a choice, though, rather than being sex slaves. I assumed the aliens would just kidnap the women and have their way with them, but no, it's very diplomatic. The aliens are also very attractive, rather than scary monster types. Many Earth women are intrigued at being mated with the sexy aliens. The author doesn't waste too much time on the set up, which is good. She establishes what's going on, then focuses on her individual characters closely. This type of book can get bogged down in world building, but in this case that wasn't an issue.

Oh, and one other thing.

There's a little bit of everything here: action, romance, sex, comedy. This is sort of a shifter book as well, as the author touches on several different genres. There are some really funny scenes in here, as the idea of an embarrassed, awkward dinosaur cracks me up. The author doesn't shy away from the sex scenes either, as she's not afraid to use graphic language and some hot, explicit descriptions. If anything, I wish there was more sex in the book, but the author does take the time to craft an actual story rather than just make it all about the intercourse.

If you enjoy alien and/or dinosaur sex, er, or at least books about alien and/or dinosaur sex, you should pick this up. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed this book. I normally don't like to read but once I got my hands on this amazing book I couldn't put it down. If you have read this book you should.

In the discussion post, the author asks for an honest review so I'm going to try to do that.

[SPOILERS - don't read if you don't want them]

I really did not enjoy this book.
I feel like it had potential but it didn't delve deep enough.

1. The romance - I think the beginnings of it was there but not enough: I understand that the h was hesitant even when she liked the H bc of her boyfriend, but her two reasons to be with him were "he is nice" and lust. After her cheating bf is gone, she is all up for the H. For the H, his reasons to be with her was fate and lust. That's it. I didn't think they had anything else between them. Maybe the correct way to say it is that it is "shallow"? And having the Lillenth bitch included made it more difficult to get through.

2. Dealing with Lillenth and the B guy kidnapping h - I think this part was handled okay. It was a short scene really and the problem was solved pretty easily (i.e. B guy getting chewed and spit out by H). It really felt like a transition scene than a key piece. But Lillenth kinda disappeared after that and her conclusion is missing. What happened to that bitch?

3. The problem with the Herbivores - Again, it felt shallow and the problem was fixed too fast. This should have been expanded on. A breech of a peace treaty (by the king no less) should have more consequences than "go apologize" and "we don't want war." A slap on the wrist, now you guys can go have sex.

4. The sex scenes - I think it was okay. I had questions.
"[his cocks] were twice as big as my arm, and I feared they wouldn’t fit." - please elaborate. PLEASE.
Also she did say she was "no anal virgin" but she climbed right on top and did dp without any prep. Like ma'am.
Also the H begs a lot when they're making out and that's a WIN. (“It’s so cute when you beg.” I murmur in his ear and bite his lobe. / “My queen, I’m about to-about to-" = SCREAMING HERE)

5. How she got healed with magic from his mating marks - uhhhh I feel like we glanced right over this.

Overall, I think this was pretty eh for a first book but it needed work.

Mild spoilers...

This book is a work of sci Fi erotica. Now, as a fan of both sci Fi and erotica, I genuinely enjoyed this story, and I'm intrigued enough that I want to know about the side story lines, Bethany and Lilinth, and see if there is more political action between the carnivores and herbivores.

The idea of all women having to give a blood sample and be matched is intriguing, but there was no sample given by the heroine, and the story didn't quite go far enough in to how it happened that she was matched.

Also, it seemed that she was the only Terran on the planet, but there were supposed to be a bunch of women that came up in the first transport, so that maybe needs a little more. Maybe these questions are answered in subsequent books.....

The story as written was well written with only a few grammatical errors that didn't really sideline the story. The love story aspect is well written and the erotica was extremely descriptive. Also I liked that while the women were required to be matched, they had the option to not stay, and not be married, if they didn't want to. Too many erotica sci Fi stories are about forced sex, so that was a nice change.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this story, and I will be reading more of the author's work.

I feel like this was a good start to a promising series by a new author. There were some spelling mistakes and grammatical errors that will pull you right out of the story, but you can easily dive right back in.

For me though...the whole book felt rushed. Characters and details weren't really fleshed out and some scenes just really drove me nuts.

For example, when the main characters call the President back on earth...there is an astonishing lack of formality to the president and from the president. We don't know if he's president of earth or just the country. Then the main female demands to speak to her boyfriend only using his first name. The President then says he'll transfer her to (boyfriends last name) home. How does he know this? And as the reader you just have to guess this is what's happening as this is the first time your hearing his last name. One of the biggest things that got me was the author having the main female character reference Lord of the Rings but calling Frodo...Frolo. As a nerd...this bothered me more than it should have.

All in all...this book could use another edit for spelling and grammatical issues, but if you enjoy steamy alien love stories that are short and sweet and drive straight to the point. You'll probably enjoy it.

There is so much potential for the book! There is some issues with going in between talking in 1st and 3rd POV in a couple of N's parts. Easily fixable, just needed more editing done. I think there needs to be more "meat" to the story. Could expand on the treaty and it being broken on top of the way it was handled and expand on why. I've read many books with mates so I totally get that and understand that. I would've liked them to get to know each other a little more before they went at it. Deciding to accept the mate without a connection other than "fate" isn't my personal favorite, but of course that's only an opinion. I did enjoy the overall book with the storyline!

I’ve never been one for dinosaur anything, but I heard about this book series and thought why not broaden my horizons. Minus some grammatical issues it was a decent book. Though I wish some more details had been added about certain plot points. I think the one thing I was most disappointed about was there was no mate claiming ceremony, the author made it seem like an important aspect of the Dino cultural. It was traded for the king just saying oh well it’s not important because I can’t resist my mate anymore. Overall it was a fun read and I have purchased the second book hoping some of the missing details will be discussed.

Interesting concept and I love the dinosaur monster beings. It started off good. However, the climax and ending felt rush. While reading it it felt like a dinosaur x human soap opera. Hopefully, the other books in series will get better.

I didn't think that I would like this book, I am not a huge fan of Erotica. But I was pleasantly surprised. The world building is convincing, and minor details were well thought through.
