Jilted. Living in a glorified closet. The world’s worst bar waitress. I just need to keep a roof over my head and make tuition payments until I can finish graduate school. Then my real life will start. But right now, long nights at the Speakeasy have me burning the candle at both ends and the wax melting all over my fingers.

When a bar manager offers me a job taking care of his adorable five-year-old daughter, it seems like the perfect solution. I get a quiet place to study. Matteo gets a reliable sitter.

There should be no complications. Except that I like my new boss a little too much. His gorgeous dark eyes humble me, and the long talks we share fill me up inside. I can’t possibly fall for him.

But the undeniable pull between us leads to a scorching kiss I can’t ignore or forget, and suddenly I’ve fallen for them both, father and daughter.

And now three hearts are at stake.

From the very SECOND that single-dad Matteo was mentioned in Touchstone I KNEW that I needed this story. I'm so glad it was the last one in the series because I really felt it rounded everything out perfectly. Everything about this book was beyond what I could have hoped for.

Matteo himself? Perfect.

Matteo's relationship with his daughter, Lauren? Perfect.

Melanie and how seamlessly she transitioned into their lives? PERFECT.

I have come to realize that there are certain tropes or situations in romances that I cannot handle. One of those is what I dub "the pointless miscommunication." Although miscommunications are a HUGE part of romances and relationships in general, there is a line I draw when it's just thrown into the plot to bring about a point of drama. Heck, even when it does make sense, I'm just not often in the mood for that anymore. I was worried I was going to see that here actually when a certain character came back to town but it was a non-issue and I rejoiced.

Even though I haven't read a ton of books where there's a single parent with a kid/kids, I just assume that things are bound to get messy because honestly, how couldn't they?! Introducing a partner to kids can be a huge point of contention, especially if they are old enough to know what is going on. With Lauren, the situation was unique because she had never known her mom and Matteo was such a great dad/parent, that there wasn't even really a hole there for her. That being said, I don't think that was fully the reason that she was okay with Melanie so fast. No, I think that's all on Melanie being the kind and special person she was. I loved every single one of their interactions and honestly just tearing up thinking about those two getting married and becoming a family and maybe even giving Lauren some siblings some day *cries*. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ENTIRE SERIES!

Huge thanks to Heart Eyes Press for allowing me to read this eARC in exchange for my honest review!&hearts

SAFEGUARD by Stephanie Rose is a cute, wholesome, and romantic story that is perfect to kick off the Fall season.

REASONS YOU SHOULD READ IT:

single father
Matteo, a 28-year-old, is this wonderful, endearing, charming man who moves to Vermont to work as the bar manager for Speakeasy. He's juggling having to work late hours and being a father to his five-year-old daughter, Lauren. It doesn't help that women are only interested in his looks and never pay attention to the one who demands and needs it. Since his work at a bar, he needs someone he can count on to take care of his daughter.

Melanie was poking cracks in the walls I'd built to protect my daughter and me.

Hear me out, you guys. There's something about a single father that does something to me and gets me all giddy. It's seeing this huge hunk of a man with muscles turn into a pile of goo for his child. It's seeing how much he cares, how much love he's ready to give and receive, but not at the expense of hurting his child. Seeing him always put his daughter first... I'm telling you, just for this alone, you're going to want to pick up this book.

friends to lovers
While this started as a boss/employee relationship, it quickly transitioned into a beautiful friendship, to the point where Matteo would trust Melanie with his daughter. The chemistry was brewing from the start, but neither pursued it for the sake of Lauren and their job, so they stayed friends, knowing how much each one wanted this to happen between them.

We were doing the time without enjoying the crime. And I'd enjoy Melanie if I had the chance, of that I was certain.

community & world
I always go back to this world. There's something peaceful and familiar about it. Sometimes, it makes me want to move to Vermont and work at a farm. The community these characters are a part of is unique. I love how tight everyone is and how willing they are to help each other out.

adorable daughter
I wouldn't forgive myself if I wrote this review and didn't mention Lauren. She is the cutest and smartest 5-year-old! If I ever have kids, I want them to be like Lauren. She's loves sweets and books, a girl after my own heart.

"Ice cream comes with the cupcakes. Like when we get a cheeseburger and French fries."

This is officially my excuse every time I get more than one dessert. 😂 IT IS SOUND LOGIC! Here is another reason for why I love this cute:

"I'm Lauren, and I'm too young to work. I wish I could, I'd spend all my money on more books."

Lauren, I can guarantee that when you work, you'll want to set aside some money, exclusively for books.

Overall, Safeguard by Stephanie Rose exceeded all of my expectations. I'm now eager to read this author's other books. I keep hearing wonderful things, and if they're as good as this one, count me in!

When I found out that Safeguard was about a single father I was giddy as hell. One because I’m crazy about this trope and second because Stephanie Rose excels at writing about single parents. Just read Always You and After You. I absolutely adored those two books.

In Safeguard though it’s about a single father. Matteo and what a wonderful man he is. Dreamy and most importantly a dedicated and loving father. Exploding ovaries. Check! Man how I fell hard and fast for that man.
Melanie is just the right woman for Matteo and it definitely works in her favor that they’re working side by side at the bar Speakeasy and also helps babysitting his amazing and hilarious daughter Lauren.
There’s no question about the chemistry. It’s palpable and tantalizing. Every little look between the two of them or them being around one another only made it go from a flicker to a strong burn.
Melanie and Matteo have to navigate through this new relationship with them both having experienced pain and loss in the past.

There’s a treat for the readers who have read the Ocean Cove series. In particular No Reservations. I for one couldn’t be happier for the special guest appearance.
After finishing Safeguard I can safely say that Stephanie Rose delivered on the single parent trope.
Not only a smoking hot dad who loves his little girl but also a heroine who does too. Two mature characters who communicate when necessary and doesn’t hold back expressing their feelings.
Safeguard is low on angst and drama but full of feels and romance which I have come to expect from Rose. Then add some smoking sexy times. Yup. I couldn’t ask for more. I’m a very happy and satisfied reader.
Safeguard is the perfect book if you need to escape for a couple of hours or more. I fell head over heels for Matteo and Melanie.

3 Matteo and Melanie Stars

This was an enjoyable single dad romance set in the world of Sarina Bowen's True North which all began with Griff and Audrey in Bittersweet.

Matteo has moved from New York to Vermont with his little girl , Lauren. Melanie has returned to the town where she grew up after vowing that she would not come back but being dumped by her fiance changes her plans.

Initially Melanie is working at Speakeasy with Matteo as her boss , then she helps him out by stepping in to mind his daughter and all the time they are falling for each other.

I liked the romance building , the secondary characters and Lauren is a beautifully written little girl who absolutely steals your heart.

I would have liked a bit more drama / angst especially when Matteo's ex makes an appearance. I had hopes there would be some tense OW scenes but it didn't happen. That, however, is purely personal preference. I felt the middle of the book drifted along a bit but the start and end were strong.

This a sweet , romantic well written novel about two people who fit perfectly. I enjoyed it but would not pick it up to read again.

I was not keen on the cover but illustrated covers are not my taste.

Cheating? No

Safeguard is a swoon-worthy modern fairy tail.
Stephanie Rose wrote a very good story that makes you dream of love and second chances, life can be still beautiful after a set back.

Matteo decided to leave his family back in New York and move to Vermont with his adorable daughter. It isn't easy for a single father to raise a kid in a new State without any help and be the new Speakeasy's night manager, so he is in dire need of a baby sitter. Melanie is back in Vermont to finish her studies after a bad break up, soon enough she'll see that it is not easy to balance her work as waitress at the Speakeasy and her studies. Matteo and Melanie share a deep connection and affection for each other since their first encounter, and pretty soon they undertsand they are the key to solve their problems, so Melanie becomes Lauren's baby sitter and she can study when the little girl goes to sleep. Will they have their happily ever after? Or will they become only a temporary clichè?

Melanie, Matteo and Lauren are such fabulous characters, they will conquer you in a heartbeat as individual characters first and as a couple and a family later.

I highly recommend this novel.

Single Dad Alert for your next read!

Dear fellow romance reader,
I am clearly a mood reader, and I stay in the racks with my favorite authors. There are lots of choices where authors branch out to write in another's universe. Truth bomb: I avoid them not because of the author I love, but lack of time to involve myself to read the original world ahead. BUT give me a blurb with a single dad, adorable daughter, heroine ready for a change, stir in should they/shouldn't they with a 1-click author AND COUNT ME IN.

Rest assured, Stephanie Rose, drops in easter eggs from not only the world but her own stories. However, she does this in artful storytelling that I recognize them but don't feel i am missing out. Also instead of pull/push so often in the trope, the author weaves the theme as should/shouldn't. The readers recognize the hearts of the main characters are ready, and we readers get the deliciousness of watching the fall.

Things I Loved:
-Matteo is a yummy hero who is protective with a heart so big beneath his commanding presence.
- Melanie is relatable heroine I love
- Lauren is frickin adorable
- Sexual tension gives into yes they should

Things to consider:
- this is where i give the warning “ its part of the series and best enjoyed yada yada” ahhh, not this time. Seriously, there are probably easte eggs I missed as not invested in the original world. The story has connections but is told in such a beautiful way to clearly stand on its own.

Are you ready for a love story to enjoy and get lost in? Need to watch the family fall in love, root for the HEA, and just - enjoy? Look no further, click on this story and be prepared for romance goodness.

Recommendation: Buy it

Melanie + Matteo

Matteo is a single dad to five year old Lauren and he's the night manager at the Speakeasy Taproom bar. They left New York to find a happier, easier life in Vermont.
Melanie grew up in town and is now back to finish college to become a teacher. She's also the new waitress at Speakeasy. But she's not made for the job - but she is made for babysitting Lauren. Which Matteo hires her for.
Both are hugely attracted to each other ... but nothing should happen between nanny and daddy, right?

LET THE FUN TIMES BEGIN! ☺

That was cute!

Such an adorable little family in the making! They're so perfect for each other!
It was a tiny little bit too long and uneventful for my tastes. I excpected something more. And even the expected arrival of this one person was way too unexciting. Which is okay - I don't love over the top drama, but a tiny little bit more drama wourld have been good. But it was cute and adorable. I liked reading it.

SAFEGUARD was a sweet + adorable romance! Run to your nearest amazon for your own Matteo - he'll be sold out in no time!

“Whoever said real men didn’t cry never knew what it was like to have a baby girl grab your heart right out of your chest the moment she was born.”

I knew I was ALL IN when I read this part. I’m swooning hard for Matteo. Gentle when necessary, but will smack your as* when he sees fit as well😈.

He’s Such a good father making the best life for his little girl, and this is a trope I don’t read enough of—single dad. This story made me long for VT, autumn, cozy socks and coffee. It’s a feel good comfort read that I highly recommend. It’s what romance is all about, and Stephanie nailed it with this quote.

“Reading about love is a comfort when real life gets complicated.”

This is it 💯! Be sure to add this one to your Fall reads collection. So freakin good!

Safeguard by Stephanie Rose was exactly the story I needed, exactly when I needed it. I’ve always been a sucker for an awesome singe dad story. And I also really love a good tale about a young woman getting back on her feet after a bad break-up. And Safeguard blended both of those tropes beautifully, bringing in all the feels, with minimal angst and a cast of really loveable characters. I love the second chance feel of this entire story. Two beautiful souls finding each other while still dealing with fallout from past relationships, and finally getting their much deserved HEA- yeah, I’m 100% on board for this. Throw in the small town feel, an adorably precocious little girl, and wonderful supporting characters who all guide the story without distracting from the overall plot, and Rose has created a book with depth, emotion, and elegant flow. I felt immersed and engaged throughout, and even the angsty parts were comforting rather than stressful (which is wonderful, because I really don’t do angst well). Even though Safeguard is part of the “Speakeasy” series, it is completely perfect as a standalone book and can be read independently of the series.

4+ "Single Daddy" Stars!

I do love myself a single parent romance. Make it a daddy with a sweet, precocious daughter and I'm pretty much sold. Then add in a double taboo with work place and the nanny, plus fight that burn, baby. It was a win for me. Mateo and Melody- M&M were both very likable. Lauren, Mateo's daughter was precious. This story was great! Happy reading!

4 Single Daddy, Daughter, And The Perfect One Stars
* * * * Spoiler Free-A Quick Review
This had so much going for it, a single dad who had devoted his love and attention to his daughter since day one. An opportunity to give his daughter the type of home she deserves in Vermont was too good to turn down when offered by the new chef at the Speakeasy.

This was how Matteo and his adorable daughter, Lauren, ended up living in a picturesque house with lots of grass and a play area for her.
This did cause a bit of a situation, though. By moving to Vermont, Matteo no longer had the safety net of his extended family helping him with Lauren.

Lauren's mom walked away when she was a baby. The marriage seemed good but being really young and then pregnant caused the mother to run. Matteo was young too but he stepped up and devoted himself to raising his daughter, he would do anything for her. Working at the Speakeasy was a good solid fit and figuring out the babysitting was something he would deal with.

Melanie is taking charge of her life. She had spent the last years putting herself behind her fiance's needs. She put going to graduate school to become the teacher she always wanted to be on hold for him. Well, shock of shocks, he came home one day and told her he was in love with another.

Terrific, Great...

So Melanie is getting herself together and is starting a waitress job at the Speakeasy. Her mother got her the position as a favor. Fingers crossed she will be able to fake it until she makes it.

On her first day, she meets Matteo and tries to not let how easy he is on the eyes get to her. She has a hard first day, gets through it and little does she know, she made an impression on Matteo, too.

The turning point for these two is Matteo's need for a reliable babysitter and how Melanie being able to step in with there is an emergency.

We have a couple who really is a good fit, a bit of arc in our guy's understanding of what is important, and a happy ending for Daddy, Daughter, and Melanie.

This was my first book by the author and now that I’ve finished it, all I can say it’s that I must read her other stories because I loved it. I fall in love with Sarina’s serie a few years ago and it was nice to go back to a familiar place.
The characters were wonderful done and their relationship is not an easy one but a worked for it and successful one.
I personally rarely like reading single parents books but this one was great and if you enjoy them, then look no further and give it a try.

Safeguard is the last book in the Speakeasy series, set in Sarina Bowen’s World of True North, but it is a complete standalone, so you can definitely read and enjoy it by itself.

And there’s lots to love about Safeguard. It is very well written for starters. I love the way the Speakeasy atmosphere feels in this book. I liked how the story progresses, and I loved the characters and how they evolve. It’s sweet and steamy and filled with so much tension and anticipation.

Matteo is a single dad who relocated to Colebury from New York City to give her adorable five year old daughter a better life. And to flee from their past. He’s Speakeasy’s night bar manager, and is having trouble finding a suitable babysitter for her kid so he can go to work.

Melanie recently returned to Colebury to go back to school after a difficult breakup. She starts working as a waitress at Speakeasy thanks to her mother’s connections to Alex Rossi’s mother. The thing is, she’s not great at it, and is having trouble keeping up with work and school. She has no problem seeing Matteo at work though. He’s extremely attractive and they become friendly very fast.

There’s so much chemistry between Matteo and Melanie that they have real trouble staying away from each other. But they work together, and he’s sort of her boss, so there’s that whole forbidden vibe going on. And then there’s Lauren, Matteo’s five year old daughter, who needs a babysitter. So Matteo comes up with an idea that could benefit him and Melanie with their respective troubles: he offers her to become Lauren’s babysitter. It’s a win-win. Except for the fact that now their boss-employee situation is even more complicated, their attraction only grows stronger, and now Lauren is becoming very attached to Melanie.

I really had a great time reading Safeguard. It’s sweet and funny and filled with heat. There’s not much drama, but the way the story evolves makes you want to keep reading because you get invested in the characters. It’s heartwarming and heartfelt, and it is a great addition to the Speakeasy series.

What an amazing first read for me. The words of Stephanie Rose connected with my heart.
Melanie was determined to make it on her own - graduate school, an apartment the size of a closet and a job as a waitress in a bar that she has to figure out how to keep her eyes open for. It was going to take a miracle to keep up this pace.
Matteo moved to Vermont to give his daughter the quiet country life. Raising a child on your own is tough but as a single dad and the father of a daughter presents a whole new set of issues. Most sitters are there to sit with and flirt with the handsome dad and not actually take care of his beautiful daughter.
When Matteo and Melanie meet that first night at the bar they sense an instant attraction but thought it best to keep it all on the friendship level. When Melanie feels she can't keep up the pace of school and work, and Matteo needs a sitter more permanently, a mutually beneficial deal is struck. Melanie is now the sitter for Matteo. This leads to a strong attraction between Matteo and Melanie and Matteo's daughter Lauren has also become entranced by Melanie's gift of treating her in a loving and caring way.
Beautiful, emotional story that will draw you in and capture your heart. These characters are so deserving of a happy ending.

I. Loved. This. Book!
Stephanie Rose writes about single parents better than anyone. These characters have a depth that you don't always find in books. By the end of the story, I felt like I knew them well. Like they were friends.
Matteo is a single dad with a sweet, strong, amazing 5 year old daughter. He is a bar manager at Speakeasy. Melanie is a recently single, recently relocated grad student who also ends up at Speakeasy. When Matteo needs a reliable babysitter for Lauren, and Melanie needs to find some balance in her schedule, the perfect solution for both of them is for her to babysit! Add in the fact that Lauren and Melanie instantly fall for each other and you have the beginning of a beautiful love story.
I also loved seeing how a couple of characters from Ocean Cove are doing today....
Highly recommend!

4 star review of Safeguard (Speakeasy Taproom #9) by Stephanie Rose
For a while I have been gravitating towards single parent stories and as Stephanie Rose is a new author to me I jumped at the chance to read Safeguard. This was a well written, entertaining story and when time permits I will be looking at other books by Ms. Rose.
This is Melanie and Matteo’s story, add in his daughter Lauren and I was hooked. Working at the Speakeasy bar for Matteo, Melanie is surprised when he offers her the job of looking after his 5 year old daughter.
Complicating matters is that there is an attraction bubbling between them and when the line is crossed will it be the end or the start of something wonderful?
Lauren is such a fun little girl and and there were moments where I found myself laughing out loud at her antics. This was a heart warming story that left me with a smile on my face.

Matteo is a single dad of an adorable 5-year-old girl named Lauren. He has been a single dad since Lauren was only six months old. At 28, he leaves his family and his past behind in the Bronx and moves his daughter to Colebury, Vermont to be a bar manager at the Speakeasy. He dreams of a life with trees, a yard, a larger home, and an idyllic small town to raise his daughter. Melanie (23) returns to town to attend graduate school at a local university after the life she thought she would have falls apart. She is smart, kind, and completely unaware of how beautiful she is. When she gets a job waitressing at the Speakeasy, she meets Matteo, and the attraction is instant.
I loved how these two fight the attraction to each other while becoming friends. Matteo is a good dad, and it is heart-melting to read as he does everything he can for his little girl. Lauren is a little spitfire who reminded me a whole lot of my youngest niece. I love how Melanie befriends Lauren and the relationship they form is really special. Matteo and Melanie have some serious heat between them. The magnetic pull to each other leaps off the page. Despite being in their twenties, I really appreciated the maturity of the characters and how they handle their relationship. I could not put this one down and stayed up way too late to finish. This was a fantastic read and I honestly cannot recommend it enough.
I am voluntarily leaving this honest review after receiving an advance reader copy of the book.

Author Stephanie Rose has made me all mushy giddy with this book!

Matteo is a EVERYTHING!
Matteo is an amazing single dad, he is loving, sweet, kind, giving, who won my heart as soon as he came to life on the pages as I read.

When Melanie comes into the picture, I knew she wouldn't be able to resist him.
Their chemistry was beautifully written.

They both give their all when it comes to the ones they care and love for.

I loved how this story has a bit of everything; drama, love, painful pasts and present that brings these two wonderful characters together.

They learn from one another as well as how to become better to themselves.

And yes there are some steamy times that will have you blushing.
The cherry on top was Matteo's daughter Lauren (yes I was a fan immediately), she is such a brilliant child and she has the spunky attitude that has you giggling and smiling.

Loved this story in the True North World.

I have been a fan of Stephanie Rose since her early days, and her books are ones I turn to when I need some comfort and familiarity. I am also a fan of the Speakeasy series, and Safeguard hit all the notes I was looking for!

Matteo needed a change of scenery, and when the position of bar manager became available, he uprooted his life, along with his daughter Lauren, and moved to the country. Melanie is just trying to keep her head above water while putting herself through grad school, and they meet when she begins working as a waitress at Speakeasy. These two are drawn to each other right from the start, and the connection they feel is undeniable.

I fell in love with Matteo and Melanie, but I think Matteo's daughter stole the show! She was a typical five year old, spunky, loving, and really helped to forge Matteo's and Melanie's relationship!

What a way to finish a series! This was delightfully fantastic! It did my heart good, and I have a huge smile on my face because of it!

A feel-good romance from start to finish, this story will absolutely warm your heart. It was fun and humorous and sexy and just the happiest of sighs!

I’ve never read a book by Stephanie before, but I have a few signed paperbacks on my shelf that I acquired at the RT convention in 2017 that I am now looking forward to reading ASAP!

If you like well written stories with very little *drama* and swoon worthy characters and storylines, then go do the thing :)

Matteo has devoted his life to his daughter Lauren since her mother up and left them years ago. He's just going through the motions then a gorgeous woman walks into his bar and his life and nothing is the same again.

Melanie really needs a job to help her get through school when she meets a gorgeous man (her new boss) and his adorable daughter, Lauren. It soon becomes clear she's not really fit for the job of waitress, but she is more than fit for the job of nanny to Lauren. There's an obvious attraction between them, but more importantly, a connection is forged. For the first time in a long time, Matteo's letting a woman into his life and heart. But what will Melanie (and Matteo) do when his past comes back to haunt him, the past he hasn't really dealt with?

I loved Safeguard. It's low on drama, and high on heart. Matteo is so sweet, such a devoted dad, which that alone made him downright swoony. Melanie is equally sweet, and perfect for Matteo and Lauren, who is the big scene stealer, stole the whole show actually. Their emotional and physical connections are intense, and I couldn't help but fall in love with M & M and their most adorable little girl.

Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆
This is the ninth book in the series. I recommend all the books in the Sarina Bowen True North World – whether at the Speakeasy, Vino & Veritas, or the Busy Bean – you are in for a treat if you haven't started them yet. This one is really fun, as we have all grown to care about Matteo and his little girl, Lauren.

After Lauren's mother walks out when she is just six months old, Matteo parents alone, but in the place they grew up together. He is fed up of the attention that gets and the pity he has bestowed upon him. So when his good friend suggests he move to work at the Speakeasy, it is a wrench, yet an easy decision. All is going well, until his regular babysitter moves away. There are some real babysitter nightmare stories, which really made me feel for him!!

Melanie moved away when her parents moved, but now she is back in town and working to fund her return to grad school to become a teacher. We learn that she had lost herself whilst in a serious relationship, but he broke the engagement, and it is time for her to do what she wants. To fund this, she is working at the Speakeasy – not really her thing (a massive understatement!), and not something she does well, but somehow, she makes it work, most of the time. When a chance to help out Matteo by looking after Laura shows all of them how well that works, Matteo is keen to have her take on more childcare hours rather than bar ones.

It is great fun seeing how the trio of Matteo, Lauren, and Melanie fall into an easy routine and are very happy when together. I enjoyed how the rest of the bar staff understood what was happening long before the two of them acknowledged it.

A very sweet, sexy read, with Lauren being a key part of the storyline. Another good addition to the series.

Matteo is a single father who left New York for Colebury, Vermont to give his daughter a better life away from the city. As one of the general managers at Speakeasy, Matteo is well liked by everyone and has a whole community helping him with Lauren. Melanie has just moved back to Colebury after years away to start fresh with graduate school at Moo U and a waitressing job at Speakeasy. Her first night on the job, Melanie gets pushed by rowdy customers and Matteo comes to her rescue. Over the next several weeks, Melanie gets reacquainted with old friends and makes new friends at work including Matteo. As a single father, Matteo is always worried about Lauren's safety and after a string of babysitters, Melanie offers her services. Lauren took an immediate liking to Melanie and they had the best time together. When Matteo worked late, Melanie looked after Lauren and she also had a quiet house to study. It was obvious from the get go that Matteo and Melanie were attracted to one other but they kept things professional for as long as possible. I liked that Melanie and Matteo became friends while working together at Speakeasy so when they did start dating, it was a natural progression of their relationship. Matteo was a good man and all he wanted was to raise a good kid and to show Melanie everyday how much he cared about her. Melanie had some issues with being a wallflower but coming back to Vermont, she blossomed, she made friends at school, at work and reconnected with old ones. While Matteo and Lauren weren't part of her plan, they brought joy into her life. I was glad that the situation with Matteo's ex wasn't any crazy type of drama and they were able to resolve it. I really enjoyed Matteo and Melanie's story, they were two lonely souls who found each other and got their HEA. I absolutely loved this series, having all these authors tell their own stories about Speakeasy and the people who found love either working there or passing by. Every couple was special and their stories unique.
