This is almost the perfect nailbiter. A monster is killing couples and carving up the women (!) Could it be him? It can't be, because he is under suspicion from early in the book. But then … maybe … but who knows. The ending is a bit predictable. After all he is or he isn't. But the writing is so taut that the book grips you until the very end. The book goes much further than most of its contemporaries in exploring the intricacies of the human psyche. Very rewarding.

Storia intrigante, tra il noir e il romanzo psicologico. I personaggi sono scritti molto bene, questa è una storia di incomunicabilità e dei grandi pericoli che essa nasconde!
