The Italian region of Tuscany is a feast for all senses. A creative incubator that has cultivated art and architecture for eras including Etruscan, Roman, Renaissance and modern times. Quality photographs from around the region, with a short essay, very much introductory. Not so much a guide book but more of an appetizer. I happen to be reading it while staying at the Salviatino Firenze, so am perhaps not the ideal audience.
