it's a good thing they are adding a section on materials one needs. not like other books have thought of wasting trees on the very important aspects of using paper instead of titanium plates. well, it's even cheaper! and who would have thought pencils are relevant and screwdrivers not?

if you are living in 1927, sure, this is a great book, by a not so intelligent, not so talented individual. otherwise, somebody has invented youtube. with an adblocker you will know how to do things williams can't do in the time it took to go to the local library, search for this crap book, and return home after all the bureaucratic formalities.

This is a good beginner drawing book. The step-by-step lessons are easy to follow. It covers lots of fun subjects like animals, people, plants, and everyday objects.

Weaknesses: the book can feel a too basic for experienced artists. Lessons focus more on copying the example than learning how to create your own drawings.

Overall, it’s a fun and stress-free book for anyone starting to learn drawing.
