This book contains the first two books of the northern lights series.
Book 1 - Wolf Signs
When her brother cancels on her, Robyn takes the trip to the Yukon by herself. Although deaf, she is more than capable of looking after herself. It’s communicating with people that’s tricky, so she is a little dismayed to find herself sharing the cabin with two men. Although one of them is seriously attractive. Keil didn’t expect to meet his mate. Her deafness is not a problem. The fact she apparently has no idea she’s a wolf makes things tricky.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved that Robyn was deaf which made things a little different and more interesting. I liked Keil, and the endlessly clumsy TJ was highly entertaining. The book is well-written and has plenty of steam, humour, and drama.
Book 2 - Wolf Flight
Tad knows he is an untriggered part wolf and he’s running out of patience. When an old crush arrives, he debates whether it’s worth triggering his wolf or if he could simply settle down with the woman who drives him insane. Missy needs Tad to mate with her, but she doesn’t know if he’s even aware of wolves. Still, the chemistry between them is off the charts and difficult to ignore.
This was another good book. I loved the menacing evil alpha (well, okay, obviously I didn’t love him, but I appreciated the character!). We had misunderstandings, danger, steam, and fun. (TJ has not become any less clumsy).
Both books were a good, enjoyable read, and I look forward to reading more in the future.
