These made me laugh

These were so stupid and repetitive but I couldn’t put them down because I wanted to see what happened with every couple 😂 I just wanted more parents content in the kids books. I did not get that. What a waste of time lol

I have leaving bad reviews. Genuinely hate it.
I had such high hopes for this set. I loved the smidget I read and the summary. It had so much potential.
It was a struggle reading through the first book. The writing and characters just flew weird. And for the FMC to declare that she loves him as soon as he saves her, without them even knowing each other, and her fighting it, too. It's just too much. I only read the original dragon mates. And each one is almost carbon copy of each other. The people may be different. The reasons as to why/why they don't want to be together may be a touch different. But ultimately they meet, there's reluctance, the love dragon gets a bad feeling, the FMC needs help, he saves the day, and then bam. Instant connection. Tho the last book was slightly different. There was more reluctance and more violence. But ultimately the same plot layout.

Kaylee Turner, an expert and gifted translator/decoder, shifted uncomfortably on the international flight. Normally she was happy with a good book, but not today. They were heading into Zimbabwe, and once again she felt as if she were looking for something – yet she didn’t know what. Dr. Morrick -- one of her first archeology professors and the man who invited her to come to the Great Zimbabwe, a monument so stunning an entire country was named after it -- greeted her when she arrived. They had just found a new chamber in the structure they were exploring, and inside was a tablet set in a small stone box. It was the tablet they wanted Kaylee’s help in interpreting. She met a couple other members of the team in what was obviously a library. Their friendly greetings put her at ease, until Dr. Atwood came striding into the room to rudely tell her to return to college because he knew she was an imposter and could add nothing to their work. Dr. Morrick rebuked him, reminding him that he was in charge and valued Kaylee’s work very much, as did much of the scientific community. She took a number of pictures of the tablet, with Dr. Atwood snarling at her that pictures were not allowed. With her gift, she knew what was written on the tablet, but she needed time before she revealed that.

Archard was arguing with his cousin who thought it useless to keep the old ways alive. Archard was to be a royal guard, but the royals were all killed in the War of Storms. Yet he didn’t want to just let their old duties all be forgotten. He had been spending time in the royal caves, reading the stories on the walls. One of them indicated the return of the Awakened One, a descendant of royalty but not living on Charok. He didn’t understand what it meant, but he always felt something pulling at him.

Kaylee was interested in the planet her father and mother came from twenty years ago, Charok. When they try with wizard Varhan’s help to find a way to see it and whether other dragons may have survived, something begins to go wrong with the spell. A portal opens and ends up pulling Archard, Callan, Lucia, and Kieran through the portal to Earth! Varhan touched the portal with his wand and it turned back into the floor it had originally been. Archard is immediately drawn to Kaylee and he finds it more and more difficult to concentrate around her. When she touched his arm, a spark much more than static electricity caused her to back up quickly. What will the future bring them now? Is there a way back home for the newcomers? Is Kaylee ready to accept her mate once they realize what their unusual feelings mean?

I love this story and the fact that it brings Julian back into the story line. It’s nice to find familiar characters and see how they have been doing. Now this starts a new adventure! The characters are described well and the story line is nicely paced. Grab your copy and enjoy! Then go on and read the rest of the books included in your box set!

When after a job at a dig brings her questions of charok, her father and her find varhan the wizard and find a way to look into a portal, but something goes wrong and brings back archard, callan , lucia, and Kieran to earth that also bring secrets and prophecy . Awesome story royal dragon protector-This is a beautiful story of Nora is one of the royal dragon's from charok . She has a YouTube channel called seeds of knowledge on botany and works in the lab mcknenlly hall university.on earth. Where kieren a new Dragon to earth who still knows of wizard tazarre and war. So when he feels he need to protect Nora he don't know the whole truth why. Royal dragon daddy-This is a story of Finn a royal Dragon shifter. His family was from charok . He works for Anderson environmental who wanting to buy some land this is where he meets aurora a fay princess. Awesome story royal dragon witch-Prince Elliot is a dragon shifter from charok rescued from a egg by beau and brought to earth during the war of storms. Witch sibyl is tararre's daughter now the lady of the caste in charok who goes to earth to track the dragons. Awesome story I loved this story the best of the series.

What a brilliant bundle. Eight intertwined books, each of which can be read as standalones, but definitely better read in order. Following a battle between wizards and dragons, four dragon shifters have to flee their home world taking with them four dragon eggs lain by their Queen before her death. Each takes responsibility for one child. The first four books follow these four shifters in their new lives with their charges, finding their true mates despite the barriers they face. The second four books follow the grown up children and their search for belonging and their own identities whilst meeting their true mates. Thoroughly enjoyed every one of these books - although they were linked with similar underlying themes, each one felt distinct and unique. I loved the world building, the intrigue and each individual romance.

Charok - a world that is destroyed when attacked by a strong enemy. The inhabitants are mostly dragon shifters and four men of the royal dragon guard are tasked with saving the Queen's eggs. A wizard magics them far away to another planet - a planet called Earth.
The first four books are about their struggles to build a life on Earth and secure that "their" children integrate well on Earth.
The next four books are about their queen's children finding their mates, interestingly enough again by bringing some surviving dragons back from Charok
Fun to read, entertaining and relaxing as it takes you into a world you know does not exist, but you wish it were.....

This is a very good set to grab up and read about shifters. With each book, you get a whole new story. You will fall for these shifters and want one for yourself. These alpha males will do what they have to do to get their mates. You will have all the emotions that you want from reading along with ones you do not want. You should grab a cool rag to keep you cooled down while reading along with your favorite drink. Dive right into these worlds of shifters and just imagine it is you that is being pursued by one or all of them.

A box set with eight titles included and I loved everyone of them. I enjoyed this series, the world is great and full of wonderful, unexpected twists and turns. Each individual book adds to the whole of the world, they can be read as standalone books, however it was amazing. I think that my favorite of the bunch is Royal Dragon's Witch, as I enjoyed the idea of two different mythical creatures who go against the odds and falling in love. Meg Ripley has created a world that enthralled me and left me with lots of wonderful feels about the characters and the tension in the world building.

On Charok, there was a war between the dragons and the sorcerers. The queen was killed, but she had laid eggs. One sorcerer disagrees with the leader of the sorcerers and cast a spell to send some dragons with the eggs to Earth. This series is the story of those dragon shifters and the children who were raised by them and their mates. The dragon shifters all found mates among the people of Earth. Some were witches/Wiccan. Will the war ever end? Will the children ever learn about their true mother? I loved reading this whole series and hated seeing it end. Thank you. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of the book.

Heartwarming story about four dragons who rescue their Queens eggs and escape to another world. Being a single parent raising a shapeshifter may not be easy. Finding one's fated mate......impossible. All the elements finally come together for these amazing males . Sorcery, deception, adventure, betrayal and love.
Each story captures your heart and concludes beautifully.
Great read Meg and beautifully written !

There were times in this book that I wanted to punch a character in the face for being dense or unwilling to have a conversation. Unnecessary DefCon most extreme issues happened. And like most collections I liked some books more than others. But overall I liked the series and liked this author. The collection is a pretty decent length so it took me a bit to read, and it was nice to stay in the same world for a few days.

I read a lot of PNR but these were quite different in that they described their animals more than anything.

It was an OK read but not much character development; quick read with an uninspired storyline. The laying of eggs was kinda gross.

Urghh

The first story was ok. The ending was a bit rushed,, but it was fine to pass the time. I hoped, being a box set series, that it would provide a few hours escapism, but then I moved to the second story.
Summer is annoying! I ploughed through cos I was bored, but within a few pages of Autumn's tale I had to give up. She is unbearable. Unlikable, snotty, and, quite frankly, not worth the effort of reading.
I want to read for pleasure, not be muttering about how much the main character irritates me.
As cheap as this set was, it was a waste of money.

This is a wonderful series about dragon shifters that have fled their home world of Charok through a portal to Earth. They each have problems to overcome to find their mates. Each story is a super, quick, entertaining read each read is individual.
The Royal Dragon series follows on from the Dragon Mate series and they link together so well and you find out what happens to the Royal Eggs.

A fantastic bundle that you will enjoy. Each book can be read as a standalone but the stories should definitely be read in order. You get wizards, dragons, and a witch to name a few. The stories have action, suspense, danger, betrayal and so much more. The dragon shifters saved their Queen's eggs and escaped to earth. They each took an egg to raise as their children and keep them safe. Each book was entertaining and kept me intrigued throughout.

Every book in the set will make you not want to stop reading. It is full of such great characters, they will take a place in you heart and never leave. Those men are larger than life, so protective and passionate. Their women are strong, independent, and live life to the fullest. ¿Are you a fan of dragon shifters? If so, this series is an opportunity of enjoying a beautiful saga of two generations and their love experiences. Every book could be read standalone, but it is better to follow each one to understand the whole plot.

The grates gift

Brilliant

Dragon Mates: The Complete Dragons of Charnok Series by Meg Ripley. The Dragons of Charnok are being killed by the wizards. To try and save their race 4 male dragons plus the last 4 eggs the Queen laid before she died were sent to Earth by a rogue wizard. This box set of 8 books are the stories of those 4 dragons and 4 eggs. Brilliant writing by Meg Ripley.

Really enjoyed the first part of the series

First part of the series was wonderful. Totally enjoyed seeing people adjusting to earth customs and meeting the mates. I did enjoy seeing the royal kids get there mates. Only one story was difficult for me to enjoy but overall due to the duplicity of a character. Overall would recommend.
