Very nice, easy reader book on what hatches from an egg. great for story time use as the photos as very large and clear. It's a nice reminder that other creatures besides chicks hatch from eggs! And this one covers quite a few just to get started!

Great non fiction baby book about things that hatch from eggs. Cute little cartoon animals on one side and real animal photos on the other.

The value in this book is introducing children to animals that hatch from eggs with photography. A refreshing change from all mammals and fuzzy cute animals. The text provides consistency through repeating form and accompanying illustration are eye catching cartoon format. Does not present as artistic endeavor. My kid enjoys the "no!" revelation at end.

If my three-year-old didn't love this book it would be one star. How do I get in the racket of buying ridiculous stock photo rejects and pairing them with terrible cartoonish drawings to create a book that's only 8 pages long that sells for $5.99?
