Disappointing
I’ve read almost every book in this series and enjoyed them. I’m not a big fan of the heroines in the books they are some what annoying and immature but I do enjoy the hero’s. That being said I have never read a book where the heroine faints so many times from fear I’m out sure how she made it through an apocalypse but anyway that’s not even what annoyed me the most. I have never read a book where the heroine talks so much about her period and having cramps. I’m sorry that just not what I want to read about.

3rd read 2022/04/11 - 2022/04/12
I am not sure why this has become a comfort read that I readily return to... but maybe it's because I admire Terri as a main character for going after what she wants and overcoming her fears, even though her and I don't necessarily share the same aspirations in life. Maybe it's because of the sweet fey himbos. Who knows. But I really enjoy reading this book and will definitely pick it up again when I am in the mood for a short and sweet paranormal romance.

So good. Now I want a fey....
The world and circumstances are harrowing, but the romance is so good! I really liked that both the males were just interested in her happiness. I liked that Terri tried so hard to overcome her fear. Fainting sucks, so it was really brave of her to figure out how to move past it. Wayne is a douche canoe who can die a slow painful death for how he treated her and women in general. But man, having someone pamper you just for having your period? I have horrible periods and wouldn't be mad if my husband did half the things these guys did. Is it bad I kind of wished they decided to be a throuple?

I can't get enough of the Resurrection Chronicles series! Every time there's a new release, I devour it in one sitting. This particular addition to the series was a bit different from the others. Terri has a human husband when she first meets the fey. Not only is she faithful to the horrific man she's married to, but she's also scared of the fey. Little did she realize all she needed was a gentle touch and a lot of patience. The things she's been missing in her marriage are still within her grasp, as long as she's willing to overcome her fears and fall in love with a fey warrior.
Absolutely loved it! I can't wait for the next book.

4.5 stars — I don’t know why I enjoyed this one as much as I did, but I really did! It wasn’t quite as light in content as Brooke’s novella, but in some ways it brought a lot of the light adorable stuff that I’ve come to love about the dark fey.
Azio and Groth were super endearing and oblivious and adorable and persistent…everything I expect. I loved seeing them pamper Terri and do everything they could to make her comfortable.
Terri was a bit harder to fall in love with, just because she was so genuinely afraid of the fey — to the point of fainting! I can’t imagine living with those kinds of consequences to fear and anxiety. I kind of don’t remember enough of the incident that really made her afraid, and had her misunderstanding the fey, so I kind of wish that had been more obviously resolved.
I felt for her being in such an unloving marriage, but still unable to see it for what it was. It’s frustrating from an outsiders perspective, but I know it’s entirely different for the ones in those toxic relationships.
While it did take Terri a bit to settle in, I think watching the boys do their adorable fey thing just kind of had me smiling enough to make up for it.
As with the previous novella, this one was SUPER steamy. And I definitely enjoyed the connection between Terri and Azio, even with the confusion of Groth in there.
I think this novella just brought back what draws me to this series time and time again. Fun, adorable, misunderstood, scary-looking guys who are desperate for someone to shower their love on.

It's hard to survive in a dystopian world and even harder if you don't have the support you need to hold your head above water. Terri is faced with exactly that, and it's disappointing that she has to deal with a husband who doesn't have the strength she needs to get through this end-of-the-world situation. Yet, she continues to push through to find a happy ending that is more of a beginning.
There were some moments that reminded me of myself and some that reminded me of friends. I don't know what it would be like to face the adversity all of these people - not just women but men and fae - had to face. But this author has built a touch of paradise in the midst of chaos with these stories. I like reading about the steps they take to grow themselves and to make it in a world where everything has changed. The humor and innocence of the fae make for a touching and relatable tale. Each one has me looking forward to the next while not being ready for the story to end.

This one is my favorite yet. Even out of all of the main full length novels, this novella takes the cake. I absolutely love Terri. This story starts us off in the human camp. This is the first time I feel like we are really getting a view of the new living arrangements over there. They are still trying to find their way after everything that has gone down. Terri is married, but her husband isn't the best. When he tosses Terri aside for being willing to trade with the fey, she does the only thing she can think of. She switches sides. What ensues is a story filled with humor. I mean, Terri is different from the others and I loved watching her story play out!

A nice 👍 story
I like this read because after being kicked out of her home by her husband, Terrie found the courage to pursue happiness in the arms of a gray alien. There she found happiness. It’s unfortunate that she had to wait for her ex-husband to belittle her for her to make that change. But here we are. This is the first book I’ve read in the series. I’m not sure if there is a sequence of books to read first however this one was decent. What was not explained was where these aliens came from and why there are zombies trying to kill everyone. Other than that it was a good book.

Always so good
This addition to the series is great.
A little sad at first because of how bad Gerri’s marriage is. But it makes for a wonderful happy ending.
It was so awesome experiencing Terri’s bravery to overcome her fears one by one.
I laugh so much at the Fey and how nieve they are as well as honest. The questions they ask about biology of humans are so heartwarming and hilarious at times.
I love this series and hope it never ends.
The mystery of the infected keeps getting deeper and deeper. Can’t wait to see how it all ends, but not too soon.

I love this world and the books but some of these women are some users for sure. That Brooke from the last book was an in your face user. Looking for someone to feed her ass and never going on runs to secure food. That whole group were useless. And Brooke never thought about sharing even though she had it good. I understand not sharing with those selfish ppl in her old group but the poor hungry child. What a bish!

I found great comical relief throughout this novella. Terri is just out of an abusive relationship all because she was trying to feed her roommates by trading with the fey. It turns out to be one of the best things that could ever happen for her. This couple's story in unlike any of the others. Terri is not typical in that she has serious panic attacks that cause her trouble to stay upright, and this book brings up one of the less talked about occurrences in life and one heck of a way to relieve it!

Love this series will happily donate so this complete series can be on audible this one isn’t as light hearted as the others but honestly I’m happy about the mix of light and dark because hello apocalypse it isn’t all fun in games. To truly get the full enjoyment of each book, I would suggest starting with book 1, as that’s where the world building starts. Another fabulous novella addition to the Resurrection Chronicles! This totally fit into the on-going series, and was another HEA for a fey/human couple. Love all these fey guys finding a woman to love.

I'm a little disappointed that Terri didn't choose both! But no stars lost for that mistake, because I'd like to think that Melissa Haag knows we're rooting for reverse harem theme and she's gonna deliver with that last book.

Melissa is amazing!
I don’t know how she does it, but she manages to give each fey so much personality and let’s us know them each in a way that we want them to be happy as if they were real. I love the story of Terri and Azio and Groth.

Humorous
I love the way the author makes what seems dull and unimportant new and fresh by giving the aliens humanlike curiosity and wonder at even the simplest things. Of course anyone who has read this series knows it goes beyond that as well. Another enjoyable story.

Sweet and sexy
Wow! Read this in one sitting. I loved it!! Azio and Groth were super sweet and I loved how they dotted on Terri. I liked it wasn’t a RH or love triangle though. And the steaminess by the end was off the charts!!

Great story filled with colorful characters.
I liked everything about this book. Cool plot twist and very entertaining. Unlike many other futuristic stories. Highly recommend this book to paranormal readers.

Sweet second chance at love story.
I really enjoyed this story. I liked how patient Azio was with Terri. Wayne was a total tool and deserved to end up alone. Groth was sweet and I hope that he gets to find a woman of his own. I recommend reading this book.
