West Coast Wolves #5

The Bewitched Alpha

Rate this book
A determined omega of great talent and an even greater mission... An easy-going alpha with a rootless pack... Some matches are truly fated.

Zeke Steele wishes he had time to enjoy the moment when he catches the scent of his true mate, but who has time for that? He sure as heck doesn’t. Not when he has a twin brother whose life is hanging in the balance if Zeke can’t find him in time.

Their father wouldn’t listen to the rumors of traffickers working in the California territory. Dangerous as it may be, Zeke’s actually considering trying to meet with the Territory Chief. Maybe he’ll listen? One thing is for sure, Zeke needs help.

Maybe he should’ve asked for assistance from his fated mate instead of stealing his Harley. Nah… If there’s one thing Zeke knows, it’s that alphas can’t be trusted. Especially pretty ones with big, sparkly eyes who give pro-level kisses.

But what if his mate’s different? The big lug did ride a Harley, after all. And bikers often knew other bikers. People who’d willing to fight the jerks who were holding his twin captive. It was risky, but Zeke’s almost desperate enough to try. Almost.

Before anything happens, Zeke has a test. First, his mate needs to find him and retrieve the stolen bike. If he can pull off moves like that, Zeke might be willing to consider rethinking this whole fated mate thing and accept his assistance. Maybe.

The West Coast Wolves is an mpreg series about five alphas. A small pack of bikers who spent years riding the highways and helping those in need until fate gave them each a pack to lead. This full-length novel is Tucker’s story. Prepare yourself for fierce omegas looking to rewrite archaic pack laws, an alpha who will do anything for his mate, and too many laughs for a book where a lot of bad men die. But then again, this is a Susi Hawke book, so what else can you expect?

I'm a total fan of M/PREG Paranormal Romances, first and foremost as a reader. I'm excited to share my own omegaverse(s) with you. What's not to love about adorable Omegas and the Alpha men who love them? If I'm not writing about men sporting baby bumps, I'm definitely reading about them!

I'm a native of Las Vegas, NV, so I'm pre-wired to love everything weird ~ although I don't find any kind of love to be weird. I'm a cis woman who's been happily married to the same lovable lug for 18 years. We have a 16yr old son, well, at least I think we do? Either that, or we have a ghost that eats all our food and uses up all wifi playing xbox while screaming into a headset.

As a new author, it's been amazing to find the amount of support that I've been given from readers and my fellow authors. Feel free to message me, I love to chat with fellow readers. Am I a reader? Heck yeah! In fact, I'm never certain that I can completely trust an author who isn't a fellow bibliophile.

I will try to update here when I'm doing promotional parties & chats. I usually do those on Facebook. If you haven't already signed up for my newsletter, you should totally do it! I only send out NL's to announce new releases or important announcements. I also like to note in my NL what I'm currently reading along with a cover shot and the link for anyone who is interested.

I look forward to interacting with everyone here!

Fab finale for the West Coast Wolves

This whole series has been a fun read but with the final instalment, Susi nicely wrapped up all the major plot points and gave Tucker his happy ending.

I really liked his omega Zeke, similar to the others in this series, he was a smart mouthed, sassy and gifted man with a film sense of justice.

We get the usual fated mates insta-love element but it's also under pretty funny circumstances too, which I appreciated very much.

Overall the books have been easy reads with characters who it's easy to root for and these two were no exception.

Terrific conclusion to mm shifter stories

I really enjoyed this book but I’m sad that this is the end pf this series. You really need to read this series in order because there is an overarching story that continues through these books about omegas being kidnapped and omega rights in a world where alphas have controlled omegas for generations. I was amazed how well Susi Hawke wraps all of the story lines up together in this one book. I really thought she would need longer but she has done a marvelous job in this volume as she did with the whole series. She has obviously put a lot of thought into plotting out what has happened in this world from politics to history. It comes across in the wealth of detail that Ms. Hawke introduces throughout this series without coming across like a dry history book. This richness of detail is one of the lovely things that set her books apart and makes them so great to read. Enjoy.

Zeke may now be one of my favorite Susi Hawke characters, which is saying something because she has some really wonderful characters. I do think that he really does throw some kind of spell over Tucker, and I loved reading it, because it was so much fun.

I hope we get to see more about the bears soon.

This has been such a brilliant series. I've lived reading it from the start with the plots and fated mate pairs that we've met in each book, all of whom are connected either via the West Coast Wolves alphas or through the omegas and how they come into the picture.
I've been eagerly waiting on this book since reading the end of the previous book which gives a teaser on Zeke and Tucker's first meeting. They are quiet the perfect match. Zeke is no shy, retiring omega type and Tucker is quite the laid back alpha who loves his mate living his best life. They don't meet under the best circumstances when Zeke is searching for his twin brother, Rocky, who has been taken by traffickers, but in the true style if this series, the whole family/packs comes together to fight, especially for the underdog which turns out to be quite the number of omegas.
I really loved how things played out for them as a couple, very well matched in every regard, and how the plot unfolds as we go through the story. Several of the alphas and omegas showcase their talents, especially Nick and Tom, helping with the omega case and getting things in motion going forward. There's a lot to process for everyone with a lot of change but it works out so well for all involved. My one niggle with things is how quickly everything happens. I think the book could have been a fair bit longer to accommodate how much actually happens in this story but it fits well with the authors writing style and the rest of the books in the series.
A great way for the series to be finished and ensure that the last of the WCW has found his HEA with the perfect mate and working to make his pack the best that it can be. Definitely a recommended read for fans of the series and author. I'd recommend reading this series in order.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

How do you get your fated mate's attention? Steal his Harley!

I Love the West Coast Wolves! This is a stunning conclusion. I am sorry to see this series end... but there is room for spinoffs. This world Susi has created is vibrant and alive. The characters are intriguing and quickly become real, become family. Even the minor characters are well- rounded and believable. Rescuing omegas from traffickers is becoming the WCW's job... the Champions of Omega Rights. Yes, while there is shifter violence, it is not gratuitous or graphic. The subject matter is serious, but there are some hilarious scenes. The repartee is often witty or downright funny. You will never look at your phone's Playlists the same way... ever! This is Tucker's story. When his fated mate steals his beloved Harley, he is forced to chase him on a borrowed "crotch rocket"... oh the indignity! Zeke knows Tucker is his. But he has to save his kidnapped twin, Rocky. He never expects his mate to be so understanding. Or that Tucker would call on the WCW to join forces with the TC and a MC of bears. Who knew bears existed! The end goal is to rescue the stolen omegas and put an end to the trafficking ring. Along the way, Tucker's pack grows by leaps and bounds. Throw in an overbearing father, a hide-bound SC, and omega powers, and you have one thrilling book. The action is non-stop. The sex is hot, keep your fan handy. Ooh, and there is a birthing scene to die for! If you have not read the previous books... get them now. This series is amazing! I am sure you will love them as much as I do. You are going to love this book!
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

This is a very sweet, heartwarming Mpreg shifter romance but sadly it is the fifth & final book in the “West Coast Wolves” series. This book can be read as a standalone but I would recommend reading the series in order to fully understand the underlying storyline. The plot is very entertaining & has good world building with well-described scenes. The characters (a male omega “Hezekiah aka Zeke” on the hunt for his missing twin “Rochester aka Rocky”) & (a hot alpha male biker “Tucker”) are likable & endearing with the shenanigans they get up to. In particular I was quite amused and impressed with Zeke’s reactions to meeting his mate & Tucker’s determination to get his man. There is good support from the secondary characters.
There is: various kinds of shifters, family issues, shifter councils, determined alphas, feisty omegas, omega trafficking, fated mates, despicable villains, adventure, action, friendship, comradery, drama, intrigue, suspense, humour, desperation, manipulations, protectiveness, complications, confrontations, some violence, defiance, love, contentment, some steam & a well-deserved happy conclusion. I would really recommend this book to people who enjoy reading this genre.

I knew I was going to love this story when Zeke went riding off into the sunset on Tucker's Harley. Wrong or not, the whole encounter was funny as he** and you're going to have to read to find out how this ends.

These two couldn't be more perfect for each other and it's not only their personalities, but it's the way they immediately work together to get things done. They aren't afraid to take on the responsibilities that Tucker once was. He always said he'd go to where he was needed anytime they needed him to, and he was needed now more than ever. With what was going on, they needed strong alphas to protect the innocent, betas, omegas and anyone else with clear heads and ways to plan to get things where they needed to be. And with Zeke, Tucker got everything he needed in a mate in one shot. Granted, it's hilarious throughout this book, especially when Zeke's twin gets involved, but again, you just have to read and find out what happens.

It couldn't have ended on a better note though. At least that's what I think. I think the way things got set into motion at the right times,....call it fates or whatever you want, it worked out for the best. And everyone as a whole was better for it.

It's a great story and a great series. I truly recommend.

The Bewitched Alpha by author Susi Hawke is the fifth book in the West Coast Wolves series. This is the final book in the series, so I would suggest highly reading the others first. I loved this book. It was a perfect ending to an amazing series. This story is told in dual Pov which I love, it really helps me get into the mindset of the characters.

Zeke has zero trust in Alphas. He is an Omega, proud and strong. He is reminded by his family that he is an Omega, therefore, has no rights. His father wants him protected.

Zeke however wants his freedom. When one of his “Bodyguards” ends up being his mate Zeke shows them just what he is made of.

I love Zeke he is smart, sassy, creative, and just amazing. I really adored him.

Tucker, I loved him too. Patient, kind, and has a sense of humor. He is a biker but has the ability to see past the moment. He understands Zeke in a way that I loved cause Zeke needs that kind of Alpha.

I have not read each book in order. So, for me, the love story between Zeke and Tucker was my focus. I loved this story. I also think those who follow this series will too. Beautiful ending. I for one am one happy reader.

I have read all the books in this series and I can honestly say that there isn’t a single book that I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. I am so sad to see this series come to an end but The Bewitched Alpha was a great end to a wonderful series.

Zeke is focused on finding his twin brother, who has been kidnapped, when he comes across his fated mate. Tucker is determined not to lose his fated mate now that he’s found him, though his mate has just ridden off on Tucker’s own Harley-a fact that amuses Tucker. It seems like more than fate when Zeke finds that Tucker and his WCW brothers are experts in tracking down kidnapped Omegas and pledge to not only help his brother but also try to take down the leader behind the kidnapping ring. Of course, the WCW’s Omegas have to come along for the ride since they are essential to finding and releasing the kidnapped Omegas. I loved the chemistry between Zeke and Tucker, and it was great to see characters from the other books in the series as well as being introduced to new characters that might possibly feature in a spin off series in the future.

This last book has all the heart tugs, sweetness, and laugh out loud words consistent with the author's writing style of the previous four books. Zeke, being desperate to escape his father's clutches, steals the alpha Tuck's cycle; but first he stumbles into Tuck's arms, scents him as his intended mate. Then he steals Tuck's bike and off he goes to meet up with his informant who has important info on his missing brother's whereabouts. Little does he realize that his tantalizing scent enables Tuck to track him down. And thus begins their adventurous path to rescuing his twin Rocky and other unfortunate kidnapped omegas. The book has a HEA ending for all. For me, this story bogged down towards the end with the political machinations which didn't really intrigue me. History of the alpha/omega culture was OK but not as essential as the present-day plot though it lent credence to the story; critical of me I know and maybe just me, but this is my honest review for the ARC I got so what is, is.

**ARC Review**

This was good. Even though this was the only book I read in the series, I didn't feel like I was missing anything from the prior stories other than not knowing the WCW and their mates that well. Got to know them some in this one. All I can say is Zeke is a fierce omega...funny, sarcastic and very bratty...LOL. Him mating with his alpha...the big ol puppy Tucker, was just the icing on the cake. Their very first meeting was HILARIOUS. I fell out it was so funny. That scene right there reeled me in hook line and sinker...I couldn't put it down. The entire cast of characters was entertaining...absolutely loved Zeke interaction with his father and his twin...so funny. The back story with the trafficking was sad but just knowing things was going to end well kept this light even though that stuff was so awful. Love reading this...the ending was good and hate to see this was the end but not sorry I read this...NICE!

In this book, I got to see a slightly different relationship, as I spotted some switch actions, not the whole deed, unfortunately, but it would have been interesting to read.
The story was good, as it involved some more omega powers and rescuing.
Zeke had a good start as a character, with him stealing the Harley, but then it just fell in the similar idea we have about mates and all, not that was bad, but I expected more exciting stuff? Anyway, his story with the brother made it possible fr us to know about Larry and his crew, and for the WCW to stop a bigger trafficking ring.
As with the previous books, I think the problems are resolved way too quickly like here we just know what will happen, but we don't see the plan being executed.
The whole series was ok, it wasn't bad but neither amazing. It had definitely an interesting idea with the powers and the different Alpha bites, the plot was ok, but it probably would have been more interesting if it was a little bit more elaborated.

I just wanna be free! Zeke, is desperate. He's looking for his twin brother, Rocky, who is in perilous danger. His Father is attempting to bring him into the fold, so he won't go missing either. His Father, ignores his suspicions of trafficking in the area and orders Zeke, home! While on the run, Zeke, scents his fated mate and rather than introductions, he steals his Harley. The test is if his Alpha will follow and find him. Tucker, scenting his mate, happily trails him and delights in Zeke. Zeke is not a stereotypical omega, he's a whole lot more. Does Tucker work with Zeke on his mission? Are they successful? What do they do with the unexpected? Fantastic conclusion to the saga. Hopefully there will be a spinoff with the found omegas. Tucker, Zeke and Rocky sound like absolutely amazing people. Great story, well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another enjoyable and Great entertaining series.

Miss Susie has done it again with the West Coast wolves series. It always amazes me how creative her mind is and how will her characters become when I read about them. This one what's truly interesting with some very lively characters throughout. This book The Bewitched alpha, Tucker just cracks me up and Zeke is truly a character. The struggle and fight for Omega freedom and helping keep the Omega safe has truly been a strong fight. I do hope there may be more books in this series but if not maybe some spin-offs. Miss Susie always has kept me entertained even during the times when I truly truly needed it. I always look forward to seeing what she's coming up with next.

This series has been so fun and exciting, it was sad to say goodbye to these guys! I loved seeing Tucker finally find his mate and I especially loved that Zeke was not going to take any crap or be delegated to a subservient role in society. It was so fun to catch up with all the guys of the WCW and their talented partners. After working for changes in society through the previous books, it was great to see the WCW finally be able to bring about fairness for all members of their society. There were lots of new characters introduced in this book that would make for great spin-off series in the future! I can't wait to see what Suzi comes out with next! Wonderful fun series with the best and biggest found family! I received an ARC for an honest and fair review.

A fantastic series!!

I have absolutely loved this series, and I am very sad to see it end. I have always been a huge fan of this terrific author, but I've learned that I have to wait until the series is complete before I can begin reading them. I enjoy them so much that I hate waiting for the next release, which means that I have to wait until they're all done. Lol! It's ok, because it's definitely worth the wait!
This story was hilarious, sweet, and full of many unexpected surprises. I absolutely loved the characters from all of the books, and it was a great treat for them all to be together for the final book.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

Tucker is the last West Coast Wolves alphas to catch his mate’s scent. He scents Zeke in a convenience store. Zeke promptly steals Tucker’s Harley. He’s looking for his twin brother who has been taken. Tucker catches up to Zeke and promises to help him find his brother. He calls in his friends, the West Coast Wolves and their mates. This was really good, lots of feels. It was great catching up with all the previous couples that makes up the universe. Loved it!! It was really well written, highly recommend. Oh My 💜

This is the Perfect ending to this Series! I was So happy to find that the Dad wasn't involved with the trafficking of the Omegas.

If you haven't followed all of the WCW books, you need to start with Matthais and Eli's book, for it all to make sense. I have greedily gathered each and every one and Susi's storytelling gets better with each one. I loved how this one found Tuck's Fated Mate, while tying up all the loose ends within the books.

I am really hoping for a spin-off with Larry and the Bears or even the Omegas as they progress with their new status. Either way, more Susi is Always welcome.

As always, 5++ Stars

This book is a great end to a fantastic series. Although there are serious issues dealt with, the good guys always come out on top without too much angst or trouble. I love all the white knight alphas and their sweet, sexy, sometimes snarky, omegas. I loved the way this book brought everything together and answered any lingering questions from the other books. I loved cheering on the omegas and their fight for freedom and equality, and what a pack our feisty omegas are, especially when they get together with a plan. This is a fun, entertaining, action-packed read...and I'd love to see more stories about the bears.

I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

All of the brothers of the WCW have found their true mates, the only problem Tucker faces is that he has to catch his first! Zeke stole his bike while running from his dad’s cronies, all the while hoping this alpha will chase him. If he can catch him, Zeke just might consider accepting his mate. These two were funny and adorable all of the same time. They are absolutely perfect for each other. I am kind of sad to see this series come to an end but all of these guys have certainly earned their HEAs!

This is the fifth & final book in Susi Hawke’s highly enjoyable “West Coast Wolves” series. It’s a sweet, heartwarming romance between Zeke and Tucker. Like the other books in this series, the world-building and storyline are excellent. Ms. Hawke does a great job developing her characters, giving them a lot of depth and dimension. She fills the story with a lot of details and yet manages to tie everything up neatly in this final book. I recommend you read these books in order so you really get an understanding of the overarching series story arc. Highly recommend.

This concluding story in the West Coast Wolves series is full of humorous moments. Despite a very serious underlying storyline involving the rescue of trafficked Omegas. New burly shifters are introduced.

This is a reunion that brings Alpha strength from all the WCW bikers and their mates. Everyone works as a well-oiled machine with the Omegas playing pivotal roles. The last unmated WCW second son scents the mate that fits him like a glove and makes an impressive Alpha mate and fighter for Omega Rights.

I enjoyed reading about the WCW. Tucker is the final one to find his mate. It had some drama with Zeke looking for his kidnapped twin brother to finding all whole bunch of omegas that were kidnapped. There were some laughing parts as well. You can go wrong with these tough motorcycle riding alphas finding their mates and saving their little part of the world.

This has been an awesome series.
At the end of the last book we left Tucker chasing after his fated mate. Well people, he caught him. Zeke is …….interesting, independent, sassy and opinionated. Just what Tucker needs.
This, the last in this series rounds things up quite nicely. We learn more about the omega gifts, the absolute love and faith the original WCW have for each other and their new packs.
I’m a sucker for a good HEA and this one has it!

Another fun and fantastic read from Susi Hawke!

This is Tucker’s story with his mate, Zeke. As with all the couples, they are so well paired and work together to save Zeke’s twin brother and the other omegas with him. I love watching Zeke realize that Tucker really does accept him as he is. Add in a fast paced rescue mission and a surprise twist from the council and this is a must read for all Susi fans, or anyone who loves fated mates making their world a better place.

As the series goes on it gets more interesting. This final one is about Tucker and a new omega Zeke. Their relationship wraps up the fight against the omega traffickers. It is a s promised in the blurb, fun, with laugh out loud moments, fiercely loyal Alphas, friends and family and of course wonderful omegas. Zeke is a special omega, and Tucker is the sweetest Alpha. I loved this ending and would hope the bear’s MC would get a spin-off going. Kudos to Ms Susie Hawk!

The West Coast Wolves was an incredible series. So sorry for it to end. Each alpha got the pack/territory that he was best suited to. As well as the best omega to help him run it.
Zeke and Tucker are sweet together. The bossy omega definitely met his match in the easy going alpha. Hawke's message of equal rights for all comes to a satisfying conclusion. A very enjoyable book.
