Rone and Violet are still one of my favorite couples ever. They strike just the right balance of concern and love for each other without the cliche possessiveness. So much happens to propel the plot on to the final book. I was left fairly breathless right up to the end. The whole series remains consistently compelling with a good mix of feels and comedy. I am anxious and sad to see book six.

If anything proves Draessonia is a dumpster fire it's Dragon Crown the fifth book in the Royal Quest series. Let's recap shall we. There is a mage rebellion (and let's face it the mages have the right to be mad but Virhan is pure evil), it's also a civil war because King Horos decided to throw his lot in with Virhan and for reasons I still don't understand, Rone's father, High King Endri, is dead, Raisa is kidnapped and about to be forced into marriage (to an idiot), Violet is an oracle water dragon who no one trusts, Miciah is the son of Virhan, there are kings who want to take advantage of the chaos, monsters from myth are real, and Rone has to fight for his crown. Like I said, Draessonia is currently a dumpster fire. Which of course means I loved it, it really was a fantastic fantasy.

Violet has come far with her dragon, she is going more on instinct, shifting has become easier, she can control her dragon and is more in tune with her dragon which means she's a little more assertive than she's used to be. Violet is doing great but no one trusts water dragons (especially oracle water dragons) and while I don't understand why they have an issue with her, Rone isn't going let stand. Rone has to face a tribunal to face the consequences of following Virhan (before knowing he's evil), fighting for his crown, dealing with his dad's death, and rescuing his sister. A lot is on his shoulder and while Rone still has his hot-headed moments some of Violet's claim is washing over him, making him think of his actions after the fact, but it's a start and he is starting to think his actions through a little more than just reacting. One thing is for certain the love and bond between Rone and Violet is strong, they clearly love each other are willing to stand by each other no matter what.

At least they have Micah to help, he's become a very important part of their circle, not only is he a powerful mage that is helpful but he is someone they fully trust and can count on. Micah's power is growing and he too is acclimating to Draessonia although he and Violet don't like how the mages are treated but they also don't like how Virhan is going about things. I mean the man is tearing the realm apart, doing unspeakable things, and doesn't care about anything, however dude is like Voldemort and just won't die. Back to Micah, he is so in love with Rasia, I think his feelings are getting stronger every day and I think she may feel the same. Rasia goes through some things while captive and she has her moments when she breaks down but one thing is obvious even if it's not to herself she cares about Micah and I can't wait to see that match up, I think they're mates but we'll see. Sidenote my favorite part is seeing the baby dragons again, Tor and Nora are so adorable.

Dragon Crown was riveting. History is not what they think it is, and a library that holds the answers to everything. There were some new faces, as well as a few familiar ones, and a couple of old secrets to come out, twisted kings, crazy challenges, monsters of myth and so much more. There was also a mind-blowing plot twist and the end of this book that has me questioning everything. How is this gonna affect Violet and Rone? What is Virhan going to do now? How will the kingdoms come together? More importantly, how is it gonna end because I think the next book is the last. If Dragon War is the last book or not either way I'm gonna jump right in.

I found this novel to be extremely interesting. I read this as a stand alone novel - and I do not recommend this. I could tell right off that I was going to be confused, and while I waded through. It was difficult. I found the writing to be excellent. and the story line solid. I was impressed enough that I want to go back and read the story from the beginning. I received this novel through BookFunnel and this is my honest review and my very one opinions of this novel.

Rone’s sister Raisa is missing. No one knows where she is. Rone has vowed to find his sister and bring her home no matter what he has to do to make that happen. He will find whoever took her and make them pay.

Not only is Rone having to worry about his sister and her safety he is also having to worry about his title as the king. The crown is about to be taken from him and he must fight to keep it. Rone and Violet have been charged with kidnapping the baby dragons and now must prove themselves innocent.

Violet is looking for more info on her ancestors but without any luck. So when an opportunity arises for her to find out more about where she came from and who she is she jumps on board real quick-like. When Violet made this decision I was like no as I believed she was being tricked.

Violet has a secret and she is tricked out of her secret as the person who tricked her knew the one thing he could use against her to get her to reveal her secret. There is one thing you can say about this person, he does his homework and he does it well at that.

A trail is being held for mages as the new king is going to need a mage he can trust to keep him safe. He is going to need a strong, powerful mage with strong magic.

Dragon Crown is a fast-paced read that had me hooked from the first page. It is paced with magic and action that never lets up. It will pull you into its world deeper and deeper until you are lost in its world.

You can see each and every scene being played out as if you are right there. The descriptions are so vivid I could picture in my head how each character was dressed. I could see the arena where the mage trials were being held. I could see the room or place where Raisa was being held.

The more I read in this world the more I love it. I can’t seem to get enough of it. I can’t wait for the next book, Dragon War set to be released on January 22, 2022.

As always I highly recommend Dragon Crown to all fans of magic, dragons, Shifters, kings, queens, trials, soulmates, and love. I also recommend that you one-click your copy of Dragon Crown today for another great adventure in The Royal Quest world! I do recommend starting with book one Dragon Prince.

Exciting & Emotive With Shocking Revelations!😲💔😢💘😡😱💥
A Nail Biting 4.5 Star Read.🌟
Dragon Crown (The Royal Quest Book #5)

This was a tension filled & nail biting read. I would recommend a quick refresher re-read of book #4. If you're anything like me the important details get lost in the time inbetween releases, this wasn't even that long a wait, but the details REALLY matter here.😉 I have to do this for 98% of my series reads.🙈

Rone is facing trial by the Kingdoms remaining Kings. There's a long list of charges for him to face!😲 The treacherous ex high mage, leaks Violets origins, knowing everyone is scared of Water Dragons with Oracle abilities.😡 For her to look into her ancestry, but also her safety, she goes to try & access the Moon Sanctum. Explosive things occur!💥

Raisa has been kept prisoner and is going to be forced into marriage!😲Virhan has bound all of her powers, she can't even shift. She's emotionally tortured with heart breaking news & the vile treatment of servants.😭💔 Then loved ones disappear during battle but something huge returns once more!!😱💥

This is gripping and edge of the seat reading. I'm so happy that Violet has fully come in to her own.🙏 Rone is at his most volatile and unstable, as he's without his guiding hands & lights throughout much of this book. The battle & then the utterly jaw dropping ending is unmissable!🌟

If you’ve read the first four books in this series then you are already familiar with the main characters. In this 5th book the authors give us a book filled with all different types of dragons, action, romance and adventure.

During the story, which is told from our four protagonists point of view, Violet, Rone, Raisa and Micah will each encounter different challenges and challengers. The characters also have to engage in many different types of battles. Will Violet find out more about Water Dragons? Does Rone become king? What happens after Raisa was kidnapped in book four? Will Micah finally learn more about his lineage? All of these questions that the reader had leftover from book four will be answered. Some of the answers may be surprising and I don’t want to interject any spoilers. There were many times throughout the book that I just said WOW! I certainly didn’t see that coming. There are many times during the battle sequences that I found myself holding my breath waiting to see who would be the victor.

This is the best book in this series so far and I can’t wait to see what the authors have in store for book 6. Warning this book like the others in the series ends in a cliffhanger.

If you enjoyed the other books in the series then you will definitely enjoy this one.

Things happen when you are expecting the book to end and it is enough to make you feel nauseous with its speed in the best way possible. I know that the last book isn’t out yet but guys, I already know that the series is going to stay fresh in my mind till I read it again for fun.

The situation our characters face in the book throughout kept me on my toes as I read before I slept and also continued reading immediately after I woke up in the morning. I think I needed to read this fantasy series and am so happy to be able to secure an ARC for the next installment of the series. Honestly, I could not have waited till its release date.

My heart sang for Raisa and Rone in this story. While Violet and Micah spent most of it growing stronger and discovering their connection to Draessonia, the Ignatius twins were tried, accused and broken physically and emotionally by their tormentors who were not limited to Virhan’s forces.

Loved it and wish I already had the final book, and it hasn't even been written yet!!! In Dragon Crown(Royal Quest Book 5) by Kelly N Jane & Ashley McLeo, Violet is a target and Rone's family is shattered. They must prevent the danger before the entire realm is in ruins. Love this series that I received through bookfunnel and definitely recommend to all that enjoy epic fantasy with a lot of action. This book, and the previous books in the series, are available on Amazon

What a ride this series is proving to be!
Violet and Rone, along with Micah, are back in Drassonia, where everything appears to have gone wonky!
Violet is a target for being who she is, Rone is a target and his family is crushed, Raisa is kidnapped and Micah needs to know who he is and where he comes from.
A page turner from the very first page, this installment is filled with action and excitement that will in turn give you goosebumps and chills.
Can't wait to read the next book!!

And again an awesome book.

If you started the serie and, just as i can hardly wait until the next book is coming out, grab a cup of hot tea and just relax and sit for an exiting new episode.

Just one warming, if you start reading you will not be able to put this book down. I turned the last page of the book and looked at the clock. 2 hours non stop reading.

Dragon Crown was full of revelations and intrigue.
Rone and Violet, Raisa and Micha all have parts to play in saving Drassoinia, can they really save the dragon and mage world.
This story like all the previous ones was full of adventure, magical action and wonderfully descriptive writing.
I can’t wait for more.

Wow! I really loved this book and can't believe there's only one left. So many fantastic twists in this made the book impossible to put down, especially in the last few chapters. I will say that one in particular I was kind of counting on since Violet found out she was a dragon, but the way it came across and all the other changes that it brought were completely unexpected.

OMG! This book was amazing.
So much action and frustration! Rone and Violet go from one challenge to another without skipping a beat. I love all the characters and the story is mesmerizing. What a cliffhanger. I need the last book immediately if not sooner.

And so the saga continues Rose & Vi sure get themselves into trouble. Lots of action, betrayals friends from unlikely places, not a book you can fall asleep reading. Love the romantic relationships. The ending was quite spectacular and left us on a cliff, need the next book.

Another great book!
Jane and McLeo have continued their awesome story. I love the characters and the plot as a whole. Every book so far has had surprises, so this is a series you must read from the beginning or you will get lost. Very well done. Can't wait to get into the 6th book!

Ready to be done

I don't mind multiple points of view but we really didn't need Raisa or Micahs in this. I did like this book better than the last one. Though it was a bit predictable I found that I mostly enjoyed it but I'm ready to finish this series.

Suspense, action and romance! This series is a guilty pleasure. It’s impossible not to get caught up in the adventure and magic.

Returning home should be a triumph. Violet's father was rescued from years of imprisonment and they survived the battle with the mages.

Instead, Raisa has been kidnapped, Rone's father killed and he still faces charges of treason.

How will they rescue Raisa? Who will now be the high king?
