In my passive-aggressive verses"
Throughout the drive of "Purple Wine," the reader will voyage through 115 pages, sipping different, toxic fantasies of Purple Wine.
Muhammad Farhan Ahmed has amazingly crafted this beautiful book in which several topics that are considered taboo in our society were notably highlighted.
"Purple Wine" dives through various platonic realities, thundering cries, & vulnerable sentiments.
"I’ll bleed tears of wounded vulnerability
While my energy shall remain unharmed
Still wandering around hopelessly"
This book throws light over the realism of this desecrated society & how the boundless, endless souls are caged & how one is burdened and forced by others.
"I wish to be flowers & butterflies
I wish to be clouds & feathers
I wish to be velvet & silk
I wish to be who I am – A boundless, endless circle"
The fading existence, the showering eyes & love for the Lord were woven impressively.
"Life’s been hard, Lord.
I often wish to return
To Your abode above the skies."
2 am depression, loneliness, toxic hopes, and how one copes with it were unique and noteworthy.
"Be the world
I always wished existed –
Be the home
I never got to live in"
His exceptional Ghazals, vents to the Lord, the vast vocabulary, vivid language, and perfect use of rhymes and metaphors were phenomenal. And yes, this is a masterpiece!

This book was such a journey. There were so many new topics and new perspectives that were introduced to me in this book. A set of bold yet beautiful words that makes the heart flutter and mind woke.
