According to Kenik, a firearm owner should avoid being finicky. Shakiness will only create tragic accidents. This book attempts to dispel all misconceptions about defensive gun use, and it does an astonishingly remarkable job of highlighting the weapon’s usefulness in protective scenarios. It is perhaps the most thorough guide available on the subject, and the knowledge it spreads is sure to enhance the security credentials of any employee in the field of defence. The read is #extremely enlightening, especially when it provides glimpses of heroic efforts that occurred in real life.

Covers the basics of civilian gun ownership and defensive firearm use, including legal issues, selection of firearm, ammunition, and holster, and some shooting advice. Also covered is the "rest" of a shooting situation, such as making the decision to draw and shoot, and dealing with the aftermath. An excellent introduction for those exploring gun ownership and concealed carry.

This is an excellent starting book I learned a lot. Vary easy to understand a lot of knowledge that covers the logical steps to going armed in the 21st century.And is also a great reference book for an old hand.

Kenik offers excellent advice for those wishing to carry a firearm for self-defence. He delivers on the promise of his title, as this is truly a comprehensive guide on the issue. Armed Response is one of those books you'll want to read a couple of times because of the density of material presented. It's unlikely any reader will absorb it all in a single read.

Probably one of the most realistic armed defense books out there. Ex. "Your primary defense must be open handed as statistically you will not have time to draw your weapon if assailed"
