Sometimes, when you can’t find your mate, it’s because you haven’t looked far enough.
Omega Prince Helix’s life is turned upside down when his brother and future king of Thulnara finds his mate on Earth and gives up his crown to begin his life there. Thrust into the position of heir apparent, Helix needs to not only prepare to take the throne, but also find his true mate. If he fails, one will be chosen for him. After seeking advice from his brother, Helix breaks the laws of his kind and finds Idda, a soothsayer. She sees his mate, but there is a problem: His mate is on Earth. Not that Helix plans to let that stop him.
Alpha Lennox loves running the small bed and breakfast his grandfather left for him. It might be the smallest in town, but it has heart. He adores looking after his guests and meeting new people from around the globe who come to stay in his small seaside tourist town. As high season rolls in, his No Vacancy sign becomes a permanent fixture. Only there is a vacancy, one he is saving for someone special, someone he saw in a dream, someone he knows deep down is coming just for him.
And then one day, the guest of his dreams arrives and the only place Lennox wants him to stay is by his side…and in his bed.
The Alien Prince’s Alpha is the second book in the Close Encounters of the Mating Kind series by the popular co-writing duo of Lorelei M Hart and Colbie Dunbar. It is a sweet with knotty heat alien romance set in the world of Dates of Our Lives. The Alien Prince’s Alpha features an alien prince and suddenly future King of Thulnara who is longing for his true mate, a human who thinks the strangest beings out there are the guests at his B&B, an intergalactic meeting of the in-laws, an extra-long appendage that allows for double the fun, true fated mates, and an adorable baby. If you like your sci-fi light, your royalty smexy, your omegas a bit orange around the edges, and your mpreg with heart, download your copy today.

This was the exact replica of the first installment. The same elements, almost the same developments and the same old boring love story. Is this written for elementary school readers? Am I missing something here?
🟡 Omega future king/alpha human 🔵 Moving to Thulnara 🟢 A poodle 🐩 🟣 Mpreg (Thulnara only has males and these guys give them a first princess ever) 🌶️ Sex was probably the most interesting part in the story, starts about 50% in; a vibrating dick; both vers (Alpha's first time bottoming)
It all sounds fantastic, the idea most definitely was, I bet - but the storytelling is again awfully boring, it's not even a novelty anymore as it was in the first installment, this book just copies the whole thing and adds even more completely uninteresting dialogues. Could this be even more boring?
Herix is Kagin's brother, he's an Omega and a future king of Thulnara. He also goes to Idda the clairvoyant and finds out his mate is from Earth. He prances into the B&B the guy works at and informs him they were supposed to be together. Their first contact and everything that follows is without any kind of pomp whatsoever, Lennox is an Alpha, but sounds more like a flustered teenager and all throughout the book they keep talking about dicks, that's their main objective and it's not even sexy either, it's awkward, to say the least.
“You were adorable. Your snoring was like a bird from my childhood.”
Good to know! Great romance. Good, good.
Herix also goes to the beach, as did his brother, he shows his true body form to Lennox in the same way and has problems with human clothing. Everything is exactly the same, so if you've read the first installment, just change the characters and you'll get this story.
Even the dirty talk didn't do it this time. It was better in the first book but here these two main characters had a bit more potential, if nothing else because of their dynamic, but it wasn't well executed.
"I charged into the room. “My member is hard too,” I informed them. “Do not worry. I will make sure yours is also hard. I am very skillful in that area."
“No,” I whispered. “It is a Thulnaran cock. And it is going to make you come.” “I suspect it’ll make me sing.”
The authors were trying too hard. They were trying to mention dicks as much as possible to make up for the poor storytelling and complete lack of chemistry between the main characters.
I'm guessing the final installment is going to be the same.
I don't even know why I'm continuing, I don't feel their chemistry at all. What I don't get is why is so called planet being mentioned more advanced than earth but it feels like it was actually the opposite.
Is a cute story, but personally I can't believe someone can cry and be upset one minute, and laugh and be all cuddly the next (Hanson, in the art walk). I firmly believe that some conflict and development of the characters emotions would elevate the plot so much!
He was just something super cute about this read Oh mega Prince Herix’s was now next in line for the throne after his elder brother decided to stay with his mate on earth. He took this role seriously and look forward to being king one day. But as time went on he wanted a mate of his own somebody to standby him and he breaks the law and finds Idda a soothsayer Who helped his brother find his mate. And he was shocked to find that his mate was on Earth too. He tells his first father the king and second father that he wants to visit his brother to spend time with the baby. But really he was going there to find his mate. Alpha Lennox runs a small B&B that was left to him by his grandfather. Lennox‘s father never got on with his grandfather and wanted him to come home and work in the family business but Lennox knew he liked where he was in the small seaside town. He had been dreaming of his mate coming to find him, to the point that he left one room vacant all the time just in case he found him and he came looking for a room and this is what happens. But would a human go back to his planet to stand by Herix ??? Could Lennox leave his small B&B to be with his mate or would the heartache be too much?? I found myself laughing throughout this book because of the problems with language. I thought Lennox and Herix’s relationship was so cute and I enjoyed the storyline. I think I will find myself re-reading this book again just because of the joy it gave me.

This is the second book in this series and I really enjoyed it. You can read it as a stand alone but you will enjoy it more if you read book one first. This is the story of Prince Herix and Lennox. Prince Herix is an omega and future king of Thulnara. Lennox is an alpha and is the current owner/operator of his recently departed grandfather. Using the same soothsayer as his brother, Helix learns that his fated mate is on planet earth. This breaks his heart as there is no way he can live on earth like his brother did. He is next to rule and must remain on Thulnara. But he wants to find his mate so off he goes. Lennox on the other hand has been having dreams of his fated mate. He keeps a room open at his small B&B; waiting for the day that his mate will show up. When Herix shows up looking for a room; both have found their mate. Lennox and Herix make a really cute couple. They bring warmth to the story. Not sure whether Lennox will be willing to give up his entire life to be with Herix; he intends to enjoy every minute with his mate that he can have. Finding out that you love an alien is a good reason for some consternation. Both Herix and Lennox will need to figure out their relationship and lives. This is their story. The story is well written and easy to read. It is a fun escape. I really enjoyed it.

I liked the setup for this book, but it kind of fell flat halfway through and I feel like it was almost to similar to the first book.
Still the b&b is lovely, the story with Lennox grandfather and Muffin is so cute. Also loved seeing more of Thulnarra and Helix parents. The I like your 🐓 apron and crown, all of the chemistry between them & plenty of spice.
It felt like certain plot points were not explored enough such as Lennox recurring dreams of Helix for years before they meet. He has a room ain the b&b on standby waiting for him, but this is never discussed or explained. I don't know if it was meant to just be like a random romantic thing, but it felt weirdly unexplored.
Also the lack of tension in regards to moving to a whole other planet, it would have made sense without the family link. But Lennox clearly loved the b&b then suddenly decided to share custody and move to be with Helix.
Lots of humour with the language barriers, very weird dialogue options at points - the steamy scenes were a bit awkward with some of the choices.
I don't know things were just messy and the pacing was off for me. Yet I read it in one sitting, makes for a fast read and easy writing to get into. Helix & Logan get a very sweet happy ending 💛

Be ready for a load of laughs, gaffs, innuendos and misuse of choice words in this hilarious installment.
Prince Herix became next in line for the throne when his older brother found his mate on Earth, and decided to stay. Definitely not what he had in mind for his life. To add more pressure to his already fast-paced circumstances, his 30th birthday is drawing near and he must find a mate or one will be chosen for him. Before embarking to Earth, Herix wondered how he could convince his fated to return with him to Thulnara. His home and heart are currently on his home world and has no desire to live on Earth.
Lennox is an alpha who now owns the bed and breakfast his grandfather used to run. After the nasty breakup from his previous omega due to infidelity, he longs to have the right mate for him. Wondering why he's saving a room just for his mate, he begins to think he'll never come. Until he does. What happens when Lennox finds out his fated mate is actually next in line to be king?
The moment they touched, it didn't take long for things to progress. Can they manage to work through their slight misunderstandings for the sake of their future?
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. With humor and lots of feelings and great friends, it’s perfect! Omega Prince Herix’s brother, the next in line to be king of Thulnara, finds a human mate and gives up his crown to live on Earth. This puts the pressure on Herix to prepare himself to be King one day as well as to find a mate, unless he wants one chosen for him. He locates a soothsayer to look for his mate and she finds him on Earth.
Alpha Lennox owns a small bed and breakfast inherited from his grandfather. He loves meeting people and he always has a full-house in the tourist season. He purposely keeps one room vacant because he has dreamed of someone who will be coming for him. It is still surprising when that dream man actually arrives! Will the two fall in love? And how will they decide where they will live? Is there a HEA in their future? Or is this a painful meeting where each will have to walk away from their mate?
Great story line, characters the reader will love, and the tension of an important decision will all keep the reader fully invested in this story. Grab your copy and don’t miss what happens when difficult decisions face them, as both are invested in living where they are and someone would have to make a sacrifice.
This was a fantastic story to follow Kagin and Hanson's! Omega Prince Herix knows he has to find his rupling before he is forced to mate whomever the council chooses before his 30th year. So he follows what Kagin did and finds the seer, Idda, and finds out his rupling is on the blue planet too! Alpha Lennox has lost his fiance (not really a loss) and his grandfather. He has taken solace in running the B&B left to him by his beloved grandfather along with a poodle nicknamed Muffin, also left to his care. For some time he has had dreams of his omega and has kept a room open awaiting the visit. From his arrival via the vortex, Herix has the same problem Kagin had with human words. It is hilarious but unfortunately happens in "real" life too. Our multiple meaning words throw the Thulnaran people for a loop that's for sure. The way they build their relationship is funny, loving and sweet all culminating in a successful mating with a little bundle of joy at the end.
Lennox and Herix story was intriguing, funny and dull of sweet moments. Their meeting is amazing, Herix has some funny awkward moments that will make you smile and also some misunderstanding thanks to the different beliefs of their species. They have to learn to trust in each other, to communicate and to express their feelings loud and clear. I love the way their relationship blooms, the support Kagin and Hanson gives them, the friends they make along the way, how Herix family and people accept Lennox, and the fact we see and learn more of Thulnara. I loved the way they resolve their problems, how after talking they try to find solutions together and the way they support each other. I loved all the process and events that leads to their bundle of joy, how well is received and how is conjured with warmth and love. It was a beautiful story and I'm looking forward to see what happens next.
DNF @ 72%. I just did not like the characters and the storyline itself was a let down. I expected a sweet love story with the challenge of distance and maybe a shock of knowing about otherworldly things. No. Well I mean yes it gives that but it sucks in its delivery. At some points their whole conversation is stuck in childish cock jokes. The alpha giggles. Ugh no that is not for me. Lennox is an alpha in name only, he has absolutely no alpha qualities. Herix is no omega. Why place tags on them that don’t fit their personality. Other than the fact that they recognize each other as mates, they have nothing else.
“I’m being fucked, everyone, and it feels so good.”
“Oh Gods, I’ve been missing out. All human alphas should try this. I have a dick, a Thulnaran length in my ass, and I love it.”
Who says stuff like this while having sex. Ugh not even the spice was spicy. It was downright cringe at times.
Prince Herix becomes heir when his brother leaves Thulnara for his mate on Earth, and he must now find his own destined partner before one is chosen for him. A soothsayer reveals his true mate is also on Earth — so Herix breaks tradition and goes to find him. In a seaside town, Alpha Lennox runs a small B&B and has been saving one room for the man he’s seen in dreams. When Herix arrives, Lennox knows instantly he’s the one.
A nice, easy fated‑mates romance between a human and an alien, this story had a gentle charm even if it wasn’t particularly inspiring. I enjoyed reading it, especially the way their connection unfolded across worlds, but it didn’t quite deliver the emotional depth I hoped for. Still, the pairing had a sweet appeal, and the destined‑bond angle kept the story moving. A pleasant read overall, even if it doesn’t stand out among other fated mates stories. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
The lengths some will go through for true love. Omega Prince Herix is put on the spot, when his older brother abdicates the throne and remains on earth with his human mate. Herix, must do a crash corse in King and find a mate, his rupling. Lots of Omegas apply, but none fit. To save time, he secretly goes to the soothsayer to identify the location of his mate. He is directed to earth. Alpha Lennox runs the legacy Shore's Home Bed & Breakfast left by his Grandfather. He is in check in, work, clean rinse and repeat mode. His biggest excitement was his Dad trying to recruit him to work at the family business in the city. Herix's and Lennox's courtship is funny and fun. Can Lennox accept alien, Herix? Will Lennox, want to leave? What can happen to the inn? Will the kingdom accept Lennox? Visiting earth for the first time, is a hoot. Good story, great series. Nicely done!
This book was cute and Herix's misunderstandings and misuse of some English words was outright hilarious. Omega Herix is prince of an alien planet called Thulnara. When his brother refused the throne to live on Earth with his human mate, Herix is now next in line to rule. When he finds out his mate is on Earth, he travels there to meet him and hopefully convince him to live on Thulnara with him. Alpha Lennox runs a bed and breakfast left to him by his grandfather and loves it. He dreamt of his mate and always leaves one vacant room at the B&B in case his fated ever shows up. But what happens when he learns that his mate is an alien prince from another planet who will be it's future king? Can he leave everything behind to be with him? I enjoyed this story. 4 stars.
Herix is told by the soothsayer that his rupling/mate is on Earth the same as his brother. Prince Herix wants his rupling or mate after seeing how happy his brother Kagin was with his rupling. He visits the the soothsayer who tells him that he will also find his rupling on Earth and he hopes it will turn out differently as Kagin gave up his right to the throne to stay on Earth with his rupling and their son. He leaves Thulnara and heads back to Earth to talk ti Kagin and it is decided that Herix will stay at a local B&B which will enable him to meet more people. They go to the nearby Shore’s Home B&B where he meets the owner Lennox and knows he is looking at his rupling.

I did not think I would enjoy 1 much less 2 books with Alien M/M Mpreg. I think I liked this one a little more because Lennox gave up what was given to him by his grandfather to come and live on a different planet with his beloved much like the first book except Lennox was stepping into Herix's role as Prince and soon to be King. That made the move a hard decision...but I am glad they decided to mate in there since Herix was pregnant. Coolest part....in all the history they had, there had never been a baby princess. Guess what Herix had? I really got into these and would love to see more like them.
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.
A native of the planet Thalnara, Herix is to be the next king since his brother found his rupling, true mate, on Earth and abdicated his place for the throne and remained on Earth. Herix, an omega, wants to find his rupling and goes to the seer. He finds that his rupling is on Earth. The dilemma begins, as Herix has no wish to stay on Earth. He finds his rupling, Lennox, and the story takes off. Language barriers and different definitions for Earth words lead to hilarious conversations and unexpected innuendos. A book that will lift your spirits and make you laugh.
Another amazing and sweet story in this series! I don’t usually read alien love stories but the blurb has me intrigued and I really like these authors so I thought I would give it a try and I’m really glad I did. I found this book fun and sweet. I usually don’t read books that involve aliens cause they tend to be confusing but I didn’t feel confused at all during this book. Lennox and Herix are have amazing chemistry right from the start and their love story really sucks you in. The authors made me believe in other worlds and I’m excited for more in this series.

I loved the first book in this series and I loved this book too. I love how the same characters come into the story and others from the shifter series and I love that. Herix and Lennox were great characters who you couldn’t help but love. Lennox had to decide where he lived, but when you find your fated mate, the decision wasn’t too hard and the solution of keeping his grandfathers B&B was the perfect solution. I hope there are more books to this series. I love the alien aspect.
I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.
Herix and Lennox fall in love instantly, they are fated mates. Their overall story is the same as book one. However, during their pregnancy they do speak about their child’s acceptance by the people of Herix planet, given her mixed heritage. They don’t shy away from acknowledging the possibility that rough times may be ahead. I found the authors’ choice to include these deeper social questions interesting but maybe not the most fitting given the books cooingly sweet tone.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Prince Helix needed to find his alpha but couldn't on Thulnara. He goes to the same soothsayer his brother went to and she said his mate was on Earth. Helix goes and finds Lennox. Their courtship was a bit slow but in the end Lennox is willing to move to Thulnara. Helix and Lennox are happy on Thulnara and I have to say I like the way the pregnancy went for them.
Prince Herix gets his mate. This second book was very enjoyable. Herix kept it a page turner with his banter with everyone. Finding Lennox was truly special. I thought it would be hard to convince Lennox to leave everything but love conquers all. Loved their chemistry and I loved how everything is somewhat connected with the shifter dating app series. Hardly any angst/drama...just straight romantic entertainment. Hope to see more in this series.
This is the second book in a series that should be read in order. This is a paranormal shifter/alien/human series in the same world as the “dates of our lives” series. Read book one first, but this one was definitely better! I don’t know if it’s just because I got into the cadence of the story telling of this series or if I just connected better with these two MC’s but I was smiling with happy at the end!
Now that his older brother is on earth with his mate Henrix must become king of Thulnara. He wants to find his rupling so seeks the seer that helped his brother and finds out that his mate is also on the blue planet called Earth. This story has laughs and heat and just a tiny bit of sadness due to misunderstandings. A wonderful sequel to The Alien Princes Omega. Also a must read!
This was so sweet and I absolutely loved it. The relationship between Lennox (human) and his alien mate, Herix, was absolutely adorable. It was cute the way Lennox called his mate, "sweethearts", because Herix had two hearts. I appreciated the humor (and steamy parts) and the writing was excellent.
Herix and Lennox’s story was funny and sweet. Herix made me laugh - his comments about fishing rods and confusing membership for members was hilarious.
A fun read with a sweet ending.
“I voluntarily read this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else's*
This is the second book in this series and I am really enjoying them. Aliens and fated mates, and set in a world with shifters this series has all sorts of fun things. I can’t wait to see what comes next.
Helix and Lennox's story was sweet. There were funny moments woven in with the sweet. You are always guaranteed a good story with Colbie Dunbar and Lorelei M. Hart.
