4.5 stars - Oh my. What a pair! 😍👫 The challenges and hijinks kept me engaged until the very end. I love how Savannah tackles every challenge he puts forth and a few that don't even come up. Chad may be a... demanding, overbearing, pain in the tuchus... boss for some but she flourishes under the terms of their agreements.
It's funny, passionate (in the bedroom and boardroom), and fascinating with some intrigue tossed in for good measure. I really, really like it. Hades, the cat, adds charm to the delightful novella. 🐈❤

This is how I like my novellas. Short, sweet, sexy with a beautifuly cute Happy Ever After.
The heat level between the main characters - Savannah and Chad is literally off the charts. I was happy that through the reading, there wasn't much drama and there was no tug and pull from any of them.
If you like sexy, insta-love this book is definately for you 💖💖💖.

This audiobook was worth ⭐⭐⭐⭐ just for Jason Clarke's Eric Cartman impression. 🤣
A short novella that mostly takes place in under 24 hours. The banter and quotes were fun, and there were some unique/smart choices too. That said, skip this if you hate cats, implausibility, instalove, or nepotism.
Also, I never thought I'd see a Zig Ziglar quote used in a sex scene. 🤯 We are living in extraordinary times, people.

Tempted by the Billionaire was an insta-love age gap story. I was not aware Shayla wrote these sweet and short stories. I loved it!!!! Savannah went for a job interview but she wound up having to go to a different location than originally thought.
Chad wasn't as cold hearted and closed off as he let the world believe. Savannah proves she's loyal from the very beginning. They worm into each others hearts rather quickly.

Interesting and quirky and sexy BUT way too effin short for me to have the full impact of the story, some might say, it's a tad bit shallow, too...*shrugs* but for such a short story, it was interesting enough! :)

I loved this novella. I loved that it's not the typical insta-love where the relationship starts almost immediately. I really liked the pace Savannah and Chad's story. They get to know each other first before getting into a relationship and it didn't feel rush even though it's a novella. And it's very entertaining to watch them.

I love a quick and steamy read. If you are looking for something that has well developed characters and a plenty of sexy with it the Forbidden Confessions Novellas are perfect. This was just what I needed to get over a book hangover.

A very heartwarming story!
I should know better than to start a Shayla Black novel at 2 AM! I thought that I could, like every other night, read for half an hour and fall asleep with my Kindle in hand.
Nope! I read Tempted By the Billionaire from page 1 right to the HEA end in one reading! Boy, I was tired when I woke up the next morning, but I was satisfied!
It was a great read! Savannah is desperate for a job and in dire need of money since getting kicked out onto the streets with her best friend, for not being able to make rent. Chad Force is in dire need of a new personal assistant, because the last one walked out on him the day before. So he makes Savannah an offer she can't refuse. She is put to the test, and passes with flying colours. She's smart, beautiful, witty, thinks fast on her feet, and a real go-getter. He finds her intriguing and fires up his libido. She has the gumption to speak her mind to Mr. Force and give him pause.
I like Shayla's sense of humour. And she always puts a twist in her stories that make me think she's going down a certain path, but then does a hard 180. I love that her stories aren't predictable, except for the HEAs!

Shayla Black is an author who has hooked me with many of their releases, sucking me in deep and ensuring I power through them in no time. Although I prefer their full-length novels, their short stories have never quite grabbed me in the same way. Despite this, I continue to read them in the hope that one will give me the feels I experience in full-length novels.
Tempted by the Billionaire is the short story that has come closest to giving me the same feelings as a full-length novel from the author. It hooked me right away and had me devouring it in no time, yet I didn’t quite love it in the same way because everything was too quick for me. I think that’s the reason I never quite love the author’s short stories as much. They are gripping and keep me invested, but I never believe the instalove that plays out. It pushes me out of the story a little bit when people fall madly in love over hours.
Although not quite for me due to the instalove aspect, this was a fun read. I’m positive those able to overlook the instalove aspect will adore this one.

This is short cute novella. Both characters are fulfilling honestly, and I felt like I connected with both characters even when the book was so short. I can’t say it lacked something, cause it had everything: drama, chemistry, banter, a cute cat, and boos/employee trope.
The whole story felt like a full 300pg book, and that to me makes it an amazing book. Makes you wonder how annoying is to read longer books , with no chemistry or unnecessary plots in them.
Would definitely recommend for a light reading or a fast paced book.

I really enjoyed this fast paced novella! Chad (the name sucks though…) is a grumpy genius billionaire that wants to hire a new assistant. In comes Savannah. She desperately needs this job, is highly skilled and determined to convince Chad she is the right girl for the job. Chad gives her the most ridiculous tasks and tests her in many ways. I really enjoyed their banter and the unusual set up. There was a little bit of steam toward the end that was a nice culmination of all the built up emotions. After they give in to each other we go from zero to a hundred within 2 seconds, but I don’t mind that in my guilty pleasure novellas. Wonderful escapism for an hour or two ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved Savannah’s character! She handles herself so well! Of course Chad is the billionaire but he recognizes that Savannah shouldn’t be interviewing for the PA position that is now vacant again. Chad is a tough boss! He’s tough on everyone! He eats his PA’s. Okay maybe not literally.

This is a short but sassy quick read! Savannah is a smart independent woman who just needs a job so she can prove to her employer that she has what it takes! Chad is a extremely successful business man who doesn’t trust anyone and happens to need an assistant. Savanna is hired as his assistant in a very unconventional way but it works. Chad and Savanna have an amazing connection and they just click. This was a great fun quick read and I really enjoyed it. I loved the personalities of these characters and the quick paced writing style of this book. I am already looking forward to seeing what Shayla comes up with next!

I haven't read any of the previous books in this series but this one was short, sweet, and totally sexy and steamy. It was an age-gap romance between the characters, Savannah and CEO, Chad. They had an instant attraction to each other and the more they were around each other there was a huge connection between them as well. This was a sweet story but had very sexy scenes as well. I loved the HEA the author provided us. This was a very enjoyable read that left me feeling really happy and content.

He throws her a challenge and hope that she will accept. However Savannah overhears a conversation about her new boss and what should a girl do? Funny, sexy short story that will entertain you and enrapture you at the same time. I volunteered to review this story.

I have been thoroughly enjoying the Forbidden Confessions series. Tempted by the Billionaire certainly measures up to all of its predecessors. They're quick, steamy stories filled with wonderfully interesting characters. Shayla Black always, always weaves a tale that will stir your emotions, provoke a reaction to events as they unfold and often times surprise you with unexpected twists and turns. Oh, and don't forget the how she turns up the heat and sizzle factor to white hot between her lead characters. You'll be fanning yourself for sure. Chad Force and Savannah Blythe are equally driven, brilliant and passionate about all things business related. This makes them well suited in the boardroom as well as the bedroom.

Absolutely loved this story!! While it was short and sweet, it for sure did not leave out any details what-so-ever. Shayla Black has just a fantastic writing style that provides her readers the opportunity to dive right into her books. You get hooked on the first page and before you know it you are on the last page. This book was no different. A must read for any romantic at heart.

Shayla Black's short and steamy reads are always a hit for me. In this one, Savannah is trying to land a job and Chad is who she is suppose to interview with. This story had me laughing and even getting a little ticked off at the games that were played but once everything came out, all was okay. I loved that she didn't back down to Chad and gave as good as she got! A fast read but one I really, really enjoyed. And it's perfect for reading right before bedtime!

Mr. Force is looking for yet another assistant, hopefully one to last longer than the others.
The fun bantering and escapades with these two make this adorable, fun quick book fly by too fast. It's sizzling hot too. So the heat factor is definitely there.

What starts out as a job interview turns out to be so much more for Savannah when she instantly feels a pull to billionaire Chad Force. But in true Shayla Black style there is so much more going on behind the scenes - deception, attraction, want, need and spark. From the opening pages to the very last one the reader is taken on a wonderful ride. The perfect addition to the Forbidden Confessions series proves once again that Shayla Black never disappoints!!

And the one you want. This job interview is trial by fire, and it just keeps getting spicier. I love how he pushes her boundaries and how she thrives on adversity. They may have had a rough start, but they end up being the perfect team. The author kept me guessing with a side of intrigue and I just couldn’t get enough. This book is one bedtime story you are going to want to stay awake for.

Savannah has only been in Boston for two days and has arrived ten minutes early for her job interview. Only she didn't want to waste any minutes on her cheap phone and missed the change in locations. Now she had ten minutes to get across town to meet Chad Force the billionaire financier.
When she rings the bell of the opulent mansion the voice on the intercom tells her to go away because he does not accept tardiness. He doesn't seem impressed when she explains not receiving the message about the interview being moved to another location.
Then he tells her that he'll give her the interview under one condition...she has fifteen minutes to wrestle a cat.
I absolutely loved this book. It is very well written and the characters are fully developed. My only complaint is that it is a novella and I wanted to read more of their story.
Savannah is from a small town and is obviously struggling for money and is overwhelmed by her attraction to her gorgeous boss, but she is determined to not let him intimidate her with his ridiculous demands.
Chad is a billionaire used to women throwing themselves at him hoping to trap him in marriage and despite her fresh innocence it is obvious by her clothes that Savannah hasn't had an easy life, but he can't help himself from pushing all her buttons to see how far he can push her.
This book is steamy hot from chapter one. Savannah's interview is hilarious and she can tell from the glint in Chad's eyes that he is totally enjoying himself with the hoops he makes her jump through to prove her loyalty.
Highly recommend this book and Shayla Black!

Savannah is from a small town and is obviously struggling for money and is overwhelmed by her attraction to her gorgeous boss, but she is determined to not let him intimidate her with his ridiculous demands.
Chad is a billionaire used to women throwing themselves at him hoping to trap him in marriage and despite her fresh innocence it is obvious by her clothes that Savannah hasn't had an easy life, but he can't help himself from pushing all her buttons to see how far he can push her.
This book is steamy hot from chapter one. Savannah's interview is hilarious and she can tell from the glint in Chad's eyes that he is totally enjoying himself with the hoops he makes her jump through to prove her loyalty.
Highly recommend this book and Shayla Black!

She is a recent college graduate. He is a billionaire CEO. She is supposed to have an interview and shows up at the wrong place. The doorman helps her out and gives her the money for the cab ride. She still arrives at the new location late. He is blowing her off, but then decides to give her a chance if she can wrangle his cat and administer his heart worm medication. She succeeds, but in the process overhears one of his most trusted advisors tell someone that he is going to get him to sign a document that will set him up to take the fall for a money laundering scheme when he's high on the painkillers from his recent knee surgery. She spends the rest of her time between keeping him from signing the papers while also, cooking, and doing the administrative work she's being tested on. He trips in the middle of the night and she rushes to help him. The are both scantily clad and their desire for each other can't be denied any longer. He fires her so they can be together without it being inappropriate. They engage. Finally she tells him about the plot; he tells her it was a test of her loyalty. He rehires her in the morning. The epilogue is she gets promoted from executive assistant to running her own team, even after lots of other departments tried to poach her. He proposes. She tells him she's pregnant. This was good, and while there was an age gap it wasn't gross and inappropriate like some of her other books, which I have skipped.

This is publicized as a “two hour read” but I it only took me half that time. It went by so fast because it’s only 99 pages. That means there is no character development or back story and not much plot to speak of either. It is a very steamy romance, but I felt unsettled after reading it. I need more book in my book, I guess.
This was the first time I’ve read this author. I don’t read a lot of self published books because they are not often available to reviewers. I got this one through Black’s publicist – yes, she has one. And I’m pretty sure she has an editor, too, and that is not always the case with either self published writers or some bestselling, traditionally published authors.
I liked this book but wanted more. Black is a very popular author and I can certainly see why. I am not a fan of novellas no matter how well done they are, and this is well done for what it is. If you like sexy romances and don’t want to invest too much time, then this is your book.

Do you like a super-fast read? Yes? Do you like super-fast love stories? Yes? How do you feel about grumpy boss and super smart employee fall in love instantly? Yes? Then this book is for you!!! Chad needs a new assistant. Savannah is desperate for a job and can't believe it when she gets an interview at Force Financial. Little does she know that he wants her as his assistant AND she'll have to live in his house because he's recovering from knee surgery AND they can't avoid their attraction to each other. Put aside any thoughts you have about details and just go along for the ride. Sure, the author does give a little family background on the characters but this is more about two people locked in a house realizing that they are literally a perfect fit. And before you ask, yes there is a super sappy happy ending. So this story has it all. I think this is a great choice for an in-between book.

This is the 9th book in the Forbidden Confessions series featuring Chad and Savannah's age-gap insta-love office romance. I really enjoy this series and this book is a great addition to the series. The stories are quick fast-paced novellas that are sweet and sexy and full of heat. Chad is a CEO who's looking for a PA Savannah is a recent college grad who needs a job. When Chad interviews her it turns into a 2 day audition with some complications and a few twists and turns. What neither of them counted on was the attraction between them which is definitely a complication especially since Chad had surgery and can't work at the office. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this steamy age-gap insta-love story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book.
