Enjoy the first three books in the VonBrandt Wolf Pack series in one convenient boxset. A steamy paranormal romance set in the small town of Somewhere, Texas!
This collection includes:
To Save A Mate: Somewhere, TX When an accident threatens Kara’s life, Luke risks everything to save the girl he’s always loved — even if it means revealing his inner wolf…
Luke’s wolf insists he find a way to claim her as his own, but Kara’s broken heart will fight him every step of the way.
To Love A Mate: Somewhere, TX Can a small-town cowboy win the heart of a woman who doesn’t have one?
Surviving charity functions by day and automatic weapons and death threats by night, Emma Carrington learned to be as hard as the men her daddy hired to protect her. Hell, she even carried a military grade stun gun in her Prada bag and could shoot just as well as any of her ex-military bodyguards if the need arose.
When a failed kidnapping attempt forces her to hide out in Somewhere, Texas, Emma finds herself stranded, floundering through cow patties, and desperate for a car. Who better to “borrow” from than the sexy naked man she sees turn into a wolf and leave his perfectly good pickup truck available for use, right?
When a beautiful blonde woman trespasses on the ranch and sees him transform, Noah knows he only has two choices —claim her or let the pack erase her memories. But even as Noah fights to save her, Emma’s past is hot on her heels and out for more than memories.
To Win A Mate: Somewhere, TX Jared VonBrandt wasn’t looking for a mate, but when the amber-eyed New Orleans beauty, Elise Blanchard is staring at him from a charity auction block, he can’t deny his wolf’s desire. He’ll win her at any cost.
Elise Blanchard has never met another werewolf. She spends her full-moon nights locked in her apartment, hoping the neighbors don’t see her shift. A twist of fate gives her an opportunity she’ll risk everything to claim.
USA Today Bestselling Author Krystal Shannan lives in a sprawling ranch style home with her husband, teenage son, and two almost teenage daughters. Her home is full of love and laughter and lots of animals. In fact the welcome mat warns visitors that it’s a zoo inside—chickens, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, dogs and fish! You name it, they’ve probably had it in their home at some point.
Krystal writes stories filled with magick, fantasy, passion, and just enough humor to make you laugh out loud. Join the fun and escape to a whole new world.
I'm not a werewolf fan, but these books were enjoyable. It seems every paranormal romance has to have an instant attraction to a one-and-only mate for life, though, and these are no exception. I'm very tired of this cliche. Numerous errors throughout, including some continuity problems like changing which car someone drove, the problems with a broken window, and no consequences for stealing vehicles kept distracting me from the story. A good editor should have caught these. The writing was otherwise good and I enjoyed the stories enough that I wished they were a little longer.
I am confused as to whether this series is VONBRANDT WOLF PACK or SOMEWHERE TEXAS. These books are in a different order than they were originally and some books have actually been put into other series. I think I have bought some of these twice due to this confusion which is why I stopped reading them. I had read all of these many years ago but those reviews are missing. Reread in the box set and enjoyed this more this time around. Found them more tolerable this time around than I did the first time, though I still feel some of their rules are archaic and unacceptable for every case. 1 - TO SAVE A MATE A very short story introducing the VonBrandt family of wolves. Really quite sad in everything that poor Kara has had to deal with. Really an insta love story, though Luke has loved Kara for years but wouldn’t interfere in her long-time relationship with douche canoe Vincent. I didn’t feel Kara had really thought about Luke at all. I liked Luke but found Kara a bit weak and immature. Her behaviour in allowing Tonya, a virtual stranger to deal with her parents’ funeral, whilst she slept the time away, put me off her. Luke saves her life due to her emotional mindset after two deadly blows within just a few hours, cause her to be careless. Though he was the one to accidentally run her over. The VonBrandts’ rally around Kara as she is Luke’s mate and they were very supportive. Have owned, read and reviewed this book ages ago but reviews posted from back of book are missing. Enjoyed this more this time around. 2 - TO LOVE A MATE This was definitely more entertaining this time around and action filled with everything that happens. Emma is a heiress who is being chased by her own crooked bodyguards. She has a safe person and place to run too but it is in Somewhere and unfortunately Emma sees Noah transform. Noah shows his strength and integrity when he bonds to Emma, even knowing she will leave, rather than allow his family to wipe her memories. Wasn’t that impressed with the rest of the family though and their chasing after Emma. They didn’t even ask what was going on, just judged her as not good enough for Noah, especially the mother Tonya. I just don’t like this werewolf world where humans either have their memories wiped, or are dealt with, if they find out about the wolf shifters. Sweet ending though. Original review from years ago missing. Read this time in the box set. 3 - TO WIN A MATE Short sweet and insta-mate story though understandable as these two are both wolf shifters. Jared goes to a charity auction to get a painting but ends up with a mate. Just would have liked to get more information about Elise’s background and to see her assimilate into a pack, having been a lone wolf all her life. Would have liked the sleezy boss to have gotten his comeuppance. Original review from years ago missing. Read this time in the box set.

This is a collection of three stories focused on the VonBrandt wolf pack.
Book one is about Luke who almost accidentally kills the girl he's loved from afar. To save her, he bonds her to him. Book two is about Noah who finds himself drawn to Emma, a girl who is nothing but trouble and fleeing for her life. Book three is about Jared who wins a date at a charity auction with a female werewolf who has never met another werewolf before.
These stories are okay. They were a bit too "young" for my taste. The first two stories are about college kids, and the stories as a whole aren't quite mature enough for my taste. The stories are also very rushed. Even allowing for the instalove connection of werewolves with their mates, everything just happens really quickly and the story is too light on details or drama.
Book 1 squicked me out a little. It was a lot to heap on Kara's shoulders and even though it's a fated mates trope, I don't think any of her coping mechanisms were healthy. We didn't get to see her grieve or work through everything, just tragedy on top of calamity on top of pain and then, oh! We're in love so everything's fine.
Book 2 was much better. Lots of action, lots of everyone laying everything out in the open. It still ends abruptly without any follow up, but it was a fun read.
Book 3 leaves a lot hanging at the end. A lot of unsolved plot and very little story. Literally, it's the shortest of the 3.
Overall entertaining, but I would have stopped after book 1 had I not read other reviews saying it got better.
Three books in one boxed set, the first two about the sons of the alpha finding their mates, the last - and shortest - about his brother, if I recall. Where the first two still had some kind of plot to follow, the last was just - snap your fingers, hey, you're my mate; more a teaser than what I personally would call a proper story. I would have loved to see them find out more about the female protagonist. What was also annoying were the numberous spelling errors and grammar mistakes - not necessarily the author's fault, I know, but in my opinion this book could use another thorough editing session, sorry. Overall though, it was nice enough to pass some hours reading. And this is, of course, only my personal opinion, I am sure lots of readers will love these stories.
This is what a book bundle should be like, not too long that it would take you 4, or 5 days to read, but 2 or 3 days short and also concise with the all knowledge you need to know of the the Von Brandt Wolf Pack. Where they come from, how they have gotten to where they are now, and how strong their family values are. You will really enjoy reading these 3 stories of the Von Brandt twins Luke and Noah and their cousin Jared.
Learn how they find their forever mates, the tragedy, action, love and hot magic it entails.
Ms. Shannan really knows how to keep you enthralled in a book, I'd forgotten how enjoyable her stories are. I won'/t do that again!
This is a family of werewolves not shape shifters like most every other authors calls their characters. Six fated souls. Two (Luke and Kara) that were years in the making, two (Noah and Emma) that knew in a weekend but still took months to complete, and two (Jared and Elise) that Fate herself brought together in less than 24 hours. I truly enjoyed reading this collection and the snippet of book 4.
The VonBrandts lead luxurious lives on their extensive ranch. They still have to find mates, and keep their otherworldly lives unobserved by the humans around them. The tales of how they met their mates lend a sense of adventure and romance to the story.
Oh my gosh a free set of wolfy books I couldn’t stop reading. The next book I’d love to read but can’t afford the price for such a short story. Maybe it’ll go on special one day…..sigh Anyway I enjoyed that more than I thought I would. Tho it’s a shame there wasn’t more to each story, could have read a little more
This volume contains the first three romance novels featuring the VonBrandt family of shifters in Somewhere, Texas. These couples know what they want when they see it and don't waste time getting to the commitment phase. Not that everything goes completely smoothly at first, but that's love, isn't it?

This Triple book box is full of love at first sight, supernatural werewolves, slimy men and a few dangerous ones to keep you hooked throughout, 5 stars.
Book series overload 😍!! I loved this "Somewhere, Texas" series. I've read the other & thought to give this a try. Amazing read!! Anything to do with this kind of series I'll get with no hesitation. Just loved this!! I love the authors style of woving a story.
I was swept away into another world. I was rooting for them to get together and struggled to wait for them to realize that they belonged together. But they did and I was so happy. Great writing. Thank you.
This series was well done with one complaint: I wish it had had more depth. The stories were short reads and fleshing them out would have added greatly to their interest.
