I loved it!!!

First let me say I cried so much reading this book. I miss my mom and granny so much 😔
I'm happy Legacy and Mariah, had a happy ending. I enjoyed how everyone became friends and family. The evil souls got what they deserved. This was a great series.

Expect The Unexpected

Legacy and Mariah are unlike any couple I’ve encountered. They’re both crazy! lol. But I have enjoyed riding along with them as they experienced life, heartaches, loss and love.

Expecting The Prince’s Heir, will give you all the feels. You’re going to get angry and want to fight somebody. Trust me when I say there are many *aha moments* throughout their story. There are scenes that will have you laughing out loud too. Oh believe when I tell you tears will be be shed and angst will be felt. But most of all you will feel and see the love.

Well done Author Alecia J.

Great Read

Picked up right where the last installment left off. Still enjoyed the storyline and these characters. I so loved Legacy and Mariah, they were unlike any couple, I've ever read about. These was a royal journey that I enjoyed. Throughout all they encountered, they love only grew stronger. I experience all kinds of emotions, the highs and lows, everything in between. So glad with the way everything turned out and everyone got their happy ending. Highly recommend this series. Great job Alecia J.

Latavia Thoughts

Wow this story was too for me everything I expected was the complete opposite. The Brothers made up and the accepted them and their decisions especially there parents, Omari was wrong for getting Denise into prositution, Mariah father came through for his daughter & got Donna & Vivan right on together & Mariah got her happily ever after with her family!!

LEGACY!!

This second book did not disappoint. It was a good balance of action and love. Mariah ( Riah) was still sweet but didn't take any mess. Her hard-headed got her in a few situations that Legacy had to rescue her from. I'm happy that all secrets were revealed and that Vivan and Donna got their's. Poor Chelsea was just pawn into her mother's twisted ways.

Interesting Storyline

I’m usually a huge fan of the author but this series however was disappointing. I would have loved to see stronger female characters in the book. All of the women seem to fall at the men’s feet even when they can be quite possessive, aggressive, and disrespectful. A woman with some back bone would have been refreshing

*I combined the review for book 1 and 2. So both reviews are the same*

The drama and my curiosity is what saved this duology.

Here is what I liked:
This was packed with some decent twists and turns and I was constantly questioning what was happening in the book. I wanted to know what happened to the friend, everybody was getting they ass whooped.
Mariah stayed checking folks in both books!
I will always and forever love a MMC that loves his girl DOWN!

What I didn’t like:
The way this was written was ATROCIOUS. The editing, jumping around, the pacing... The only thing that kept me going was the fact that there was so much happening in the story.
The multiple POV’s was irritating to me-- but that’s a personal ick I have for any book any genre. I can handle a few, but there were upwards of 6 POV’s I had to keep up with.
The toxicity between Legacy and Mariah was irritating! The lack of communication drove me up a wall. And even between the two books I honestly felt like there was little character development with Legacy and Mariah.
The books identity became extremely muddled in book two. There were spirits coming to visit the main characters to relay messages and offer comfort. It was just so damn odd to me... it felt so out of place. So now this is a paranormal story? I felt like the author couldn’t make her mind up on whether this was a urban romance or paranormal romance?

At the end of the day, it did keep me entertained. And I will always appreciate that in a book. But the writing, pacing, lack of editing was beyond irritating. This needed a lot of clarification and transition work. Maybe some of her later works have improved. I wouldn’t be opposed to checking something current out to see if any growth has been made.

WE ALL WEAR A CROWN

This book was so good and took many turns!!!…I had to walk away a few times because some parts got really heavy!!!…
I cried more than I laughed and I felt a tug at my heart through a few of the chapters!!!…
How do you envy a person so much, that you harm them in such a manner we and go on with life like nothing!!!…
Both Vivian and Donna got everything they deserved!!!…I felt so bad for Denise because her misguided self wanted so badly to be accepted and to succeed!!!…
I was happy that Mariah kept her word and made sure Denise’s mother was going to be cared for!!!…
I was so happy for Elijah, and I cried with him when he was told that he had a family!!!…
Every one got their HEA and their babies came into the world happy and healthy!!!…
Mariah and Legacy was a MESS the WHOLE BOOK!!!…I loved them down!!!…

So….

I LOVED book 1, but not really feeling book2. I gave 3 stars on the strength of book 1. Book 2 was all over the damn place. I get that the author needed to tie up some loose ends, but the execution was not done very well. Book 1 left you with the element of surprise…book 2 you knew what was gonna happen before it actually happened. Legacy and Mariah were both a piece of work. Not sure how to build a relationship, let alone marriage on being sexually compatible…because outside of that the only thing they had in committing was the bad temper. I’m honestly a little apprehensive about reading the spin-off.

I loved part one but I didn’t care for Legacy in this book. He was controlling and at times downright mean. Not to mention, he’s constantly thinking with the little head. He’s always focused on sex l, whether it’s with his women, the chick he hooked up with multiple times or the stripper he was going to hook up with. The way he treated Mariah after she had been kidnapped was horrible. He’s not fit to be a king. I wasn’t really feeling love from him in this book. I do like Malachi and wouldn’t mind seeing more from MJ and Zipp.

I Really Tried…

I really tried to find some redeeming qualities about this book. I only read book 2 because I wanted to hear the explanations behind all of the drama but even those didn’t make sense. Between my dislike for the characters and the foolery of the storyline, I just can’t find anything positive to say about this book. Legacy was a cheater, liar and control freak and Mariah was just all talk when it came to Legacy. Whew, I’m glad it’s over. Ms. Alecia J does not have to worry about me ever reading another book of hers!

Good, high potential

This series (2 books) is my first read by this author. I believe there is great potential here. The writing is well done, however, for MY reading tastes, there are too many points of view (8-some different from the 8 POVs in book 1) and the side storylines take away from the impact of the main storyline to me. I will definitely keep this author on my list and I look forward to seeing more.
MY 3 stars = Good/complete story

Different but good

Man... This series was the bomb. I enjoyed reading about relatives swapping spouses and they are all still cool with each other. Just one big happy family with no drama. Never read a story like that before, which made it good to read. Cool how everyone came together and each couple had a happy ending. However, I was pissed at Denise. Like why girl lol. But read this book lol

Although this was too long, but it was so good and so needed….

Besides this being too long, it was a perfect finale because everything was touched, answered and dealt with. Karma had the correct addresses of each one that needed a visit.
This was so well developed that nothing else needed to be added except that a “thank you” for a well written wrap up or conclusion.
Can’t wait for mor books from this author….

Both books ridiculously stupid

This series was so stupid and utterly farfetched, nothing made sense. The whole Donna, Denise, Vivian scenarios made no sense whatsoever, the reasoning didn't make sense. The grammatical errors were over abundant, the writing itself was very mediocre, this was just stupid to me, the storyline had promise but the execution was horrible. Sorry not sorry👎🏾🤷🏿‍♀️

Nice

This was a nice series. Although I didn't care for Mariah and Legacy's relationship bc Legacy just didn't seem right for her and Mariah's growth made her a totally different person than who we met at first, I did still enjoy reading about them. Glad everyone got their happy ending.

Mariah and Legacy had me laughing because when they argue it was something. Loved Leah the tiger. That ex of Marah's was a piece of work was so over him. Legacy is what every girl wants🥰

I love how Legacy is when it comes to Mariah🥰 Mariah doesn't okay about him either ask all his exes🤣. Donna and Vivian found out how real that girl karma is and she does not come to play. I love Malachi and MJ royal but hood🥰 Jamal needs psychiatric care🤣

Good Read

Part 2 was different from any book I have read so far concerning some one being able to see and talk with the dead. Good Read! Legacy was too much for me. Happy Mariah became extremely wealthy. I guess I will always wonder what happen to Leah when the family moved back to Criland.

I love how this was kind of a fairytale story but they experienced that REAL, real life storyline! The LOVE that Legacy has for Mariah is LOVE, LOVE for real. He is definitely a BOSS King 👑 a Knight and Shining Armor that treats his woman like the Queen she is! This book was GREAT!!! 🥰😊

Love this series!

This is a good series by Alecia J. I hope there will be spinoff or 2 or 3 with the other characters. I would like to see what happened with Zipp, London and Jazz. Mariah and Legacy went through a lot of situations and secrets to be with each other. Keep writing Alecia J!

Banger

I loved this series. I felt all the feels while reading this. I loved how Legacy and Mariah loved one another. Legacy does not play about her and she doesn’t play about him. I loved getting to know all their friends and family as well. This is a must read. Awesome job. On to the next book in this series now!!

A happy ending!

This book had so many twists and turns but all's well that ends well! Lots of drama and many secrets revealed. Karma ain't no joke, I guess Vivian, Omari and Phillip found out. I did feel bad for how things turned out with Denise. Overall a good read just editing was much needed!

must read this series

This book was good I understand Legacy and Mariah was the main characters but I didn’t like how Jazz was treated or made out to be in the book. Like know one was above her. I also wished they let Jamal tell how he felt about jazz instead of just saying he was in love with her. Overall I loved the book

love wins

I don’t care what nobody say Legacy is a straight shooter and I appreciate that. Mariah handled him proper, she was made for that man. I’m glad Jazz and Jamal were able to be together without sneaking around. I enjoyed the fact that GiGi and Meli were able to help and talk to Mariah, Malachi and Legacy.

Great read

This book was a great read from start to finish. Legacy was the man I loved how he loved Mariah. Gigi was funny throughout one and two. Vivian got exactly what was due to her. Malachi was a real loyal man he held his love for Meli for years until she released him.i hate Denise lost her life but glad shr made amends with Mariah. Great book Alecia J
