It's hard to explain why the Silver Springs books make me so happy. I guess it's because I know for sure that there's a happily ever after waiting at the end of the book and because the books never get too heavy. I know that I will read the book with a smile on my face, without too much scares and too much emotional pain. When I got the arc for this book, I therefore couldn't wait to start reading and decided to just give it a go!
I'm quite happy that Elena Gray fitted Mars into her Greek Mythology world. Mostly because I love Gray's take on the Greek Mythology, the Gods and the complicated relationships between all those people. As soon as I discovered that in this tale Mars is the unknown twin-sister of Ares I moved to the edge of my seat. Even more so when so many familiar faces showed up in the story and made an appearance!
The plot of this book is actually quite simple. Mars and Ares got into a fight and Mars is on the run to make sure her brother can't kill her. The authors however really manage to make the story thrilling, especially because the emotions of the characters are so vivid! Especially the scenes at the concert, where Mars is panicking because she fears she's discovered, are amazing and thrilling! And, they really capture the atmosphere of those insane concerts where everything is possible!
The true stars of this book are the characters, though. I have to admit that I would have loved to get a little more time with the guys to get to know them a little better. Even though they have their own point of view chapters as readers we miss the shared history of the characters. Mars, however, is as amazing as I had hoped she would be! She had a fighting spirit, but she was more than just a warrior. She was funny, she was fierce and she was learning that love is the most amazing thing ever.

This one annoyed me. I liked that there was an additional trio and how they helped one another. I’m curious who they would end up with for good. I liked the harem but Mars and the miscommunication got to me. Was a shame there wasn’t a meeting between Mars and Hades. It was one where you could guess what was going to happen. But it did feel a bit pointless. Nice to see the vikings again.

Mars has been on the run for years. Her friend talks her into coming to Silver Springs to see the famous band Not a Vampire. Her not is nothing but mishaps and trouble. Lots of fun and some serious steam. This book made me laugh and cry. Loved it

Lets meet Mars and her men in this solar mates series. So Mars is a goddess and her twin brother is Ares. She is the goddess of War people however, she has been in hiding. Why you ask. Well we don't find out towards the end. However when she goes to Silver Springs to meet up with Pepper to go to the concert something happens. The men she left behind show up. Now this is where things get crazy, because there was a point where I was like wait what is happening and then I got it. Azai, Zain, and Pax have been searching for her and waiting to be called upon to help her when she is in need of it. Relationships are rekindle and geez does it get hot. Then the question becomes, is she willing to risk leaving them again to finish whatever is really going on between her and her brother. I mean even in disguise she could not fool her Uncle. There were some moments that were sad and funny. Overall the adventure that we went on was awesome. It is funny how the fates like to play a part in their lives. There is a happily ever after with friendships made and family restored. Love above all else wins again.

This was a fun read, and a little different to what I expected.

When she visits her friend Peppermint in Silver Springs for a concert, she ends up calling for her three protectors - who body snatch passersby to get to her. And this is where it differed from my expectations. Without spoiling it, I hope, the fates of the borrowed locals was very different to what I thought it would be, in a very good way!
The characters were fun. As always, it's good to see familiar faces from previous books pop up, and there are a few here I'd love to see more of as well!

Mars is on the run from her twin Ares and finds herself in Silver Springs where she somehow calls upon her warriors - although that does not go smoothly 🙈 there’s a great nod to the Greek mythology throughout!
What I particularly enjoyed about this one was the connection not only between Mars and her mates but with the new friends they develop on the way (all down to a mishap!) Tucker, Dan and Tobias definitely bring an extra element to this one 😃 was glad to see a HEA - looking iffy there for a while 😄

Mars is the twin of Ares, a God of War. But now she's on the run from him after she messed up, and she believes he wants to end her. She left everyone behind and started running. With a push from her friend Peppermint, she ends up in Silver Springs for the Not a Vampire concert, and well you know how it goes from there. There are a few steamy moments with her men, but I'm kinda sad she didn't get much sexy times with two of them, maybe there will be a second book and we'll get a little more of that there.
I love the fact that this was the perfect blend of Greek mythology and one of my other favourite things, the Silver Springs world. Really excited for the next book in this series.

I absolutely loved this book! Mars is such an interesting character. I liked the clever twist she’s a twin to Ares! Really happy to see some of my previous favourite characters, too, like Jupiter and Peppermint. (I think there’s great potential for a spin-off story about Peppermint’s Vikings and Mars’ warriors!) I really enjoyed getting to know Mars’ protectors. One of my favourite scenes was where they ended up wearing the fancy dress costumes 😂 Great addition to the Solar Mates series.

Great addition to the series. I especially love the idea that Mars and Ares are twins. What a fun take on the Greek mythology and I loved that it's siblings rivalry. Definitely made for hell over read. Overall Mars was awesome book. I loved all the twist and turn and the laugh out loud moments. Can't wait for the next book in the series. As always my reviews are totally voluntarily and no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are completely my own.

I felt like the story was rushed as everything happens in 24 hours and the reason for Mars to be running away for years just because of a stupid bet wasn't a strong enough reason for me. It felt a little bit forced just for the story to have her in hiding for so long. Other than that, I liked how Mars' guys were willing to give up their lives to help her and make sure she was safe. She was their world, and I'm glad she realised that she also needed them in their lives.

I love Mars. Even more I love the idea that Mars and Ares are twins. That's a fun take on mythology and even better because of sibling rivalry. This book had me snorting at the body snatching, gasping for breaths at wookie madness, and feeling all the feels with the 6 men in her life. A wonderful read and perfect addition to the series!

This is such a fantastic addition to this series! A quirky and fun read about Mars who is on the run from her brother. Of course when she stops in silver springs things do not go as planned but then do they ever?? The characters are fantastic especially her protectors who are hot!! There’s hilarity, there’s steam and there’s plenty of romance! I love visiting this town cause you never know what’s going to happen next!

I love greeak mithology and I was just thriller to read about Mars! When que find She is the twin sister of Ares? Oh yes! I just couldn't stop! Her mates are just so awesome, and Mars that in the beginning is panicking, actually pulls throu and is quite fearless. Another awesome book from the silver springs universe. I would love to be on that concert!

Mars has been on the run for years. Always having to look over her shoulder has taken its toll on her. So she lets herself be talked into attending a concert. Only she gets more than she bargains for when she unknowingly calls her protectors to her.
Mars is a fantastic addition to the Solar Mates series. She’s a great character and I loved the story. It’s funny, smexy, and full of adventure.

This was a great addition to this series. Mars is a goddess that is on the run from her brother. She goes to a concert in Silver Springs and she accidentally calls on her protectors.
The protectors enter the bodies of a policeman a singer and a food service worker.
Can her protectors get her to accept them so they can return to their own bodies. Will her brother catch up to them? Will they protect her and choose to be on her side.
There was some funny parts especially the underwear.
I highly recommend this book you will enjoy it.

Yes!! Abit of God on God action with
Two worlds brought together with the amazing writers Elena Gray and Cali mann bringing us the characters we love so mush plus a new character Mars the goddess of war. Body snatching, sword fighting and so mush more that make this story so enjoyable to read while still being hilariously funny, I loved Mars and her three warrior mates who will stop at nothing to keep her safe and meet a few new friends along the way that you'll fall in love with and hope to see more of them. I'm always pleasantly surprised when it comes to these story's as you never quite know what's going to happen next and that's what I love so mush about these storys. Next stop is mercury which I can't wait to read if its anything like Mars I know it will be a good one.

Mars has been on the run from her brother Ares for some time now. But when she gets invited to Silver Springs to go to a concert, she takes a chance. Who knew that it would lead to finding her mates? I love the Silver Springs world because it never fails to make me laugh at all the craziness that happens. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Mars was an awesome book. I couldn’t put it down. All the twists and turns and adventure. Entertaining and funny. Sad and happy. So many emotions in one book. Definitely a great addition to this series!

I've yet to find a book in this series, the silver springs, silver spells, skates.......etc that I haven't liked & Mars' book is just as brilliant. Goddess Mars is evading her twin brother Ares and whilst she's on the run she lands up in Silver Springs. Where is finds all manner of fun, laughs and plenty of steam. I'm loving this series so much and Mars was a cracking addition to it

Mars is a bit of a loner because of a squabble with her twin brother, who is now trying to kill her... Mars attends the Not a Vampire concert and all sorts of hilarity ensues!! Well written and great characters in addition to the fated mates. The support characters were just as fun as the main characters which is what makes this book so good! I hope we see those side characters again!

I love the aspect of Greek mythology in the book, as well as the different take on it. Mars is the twin sister of Ares, and being on the run for years has taken its toll on her. When she’s talked into finally having fun for once, and attending a concert, all her worst fears come to life as the one she’s been running from finds her. Without knowing who is friend or foe, she is terrified and unintentionally calls on her warriors. Who happen to be her best friends from childhood. Warring with staying and fighting so she no longer has to run, and trying to save herself as those she cares about, she makes some hard decisions, but those decisions may be out of her hands after all. Finding new friends, reuniting with old ones, and family matters are all important aspects in this story, that make this an amazing book I couldn’t put down.

It's the same concert in each book and the stories are wonderfully written that you are aware that you have seen the same scene in the other books but from a different angle and perspective as the characters experiences are different. I do really love Elena Gray and this co write with Cali Mann is one of my favourites

Fun fast paced read with Amazing characters. Mars has been on the run for years and is headed to Silver Springs for a concert. She had to decide if she can accept her protectors, her childhood friends. The ties to Greek mythology adds something different to this universe. I loved the connections she had with her mates, but also the friendships she made. The humor in this was fun, especially the extra clothes being costumes. It is definitely worth reading to see how things work out for Mars. It is a fun book, I recommend giving it a try.

“A new addition to this wonderful town of Silver a springs I’m beyond addicted. This story was sweet, funny and delicious. Mars was such a great girl, correct goodness, at first she was a little dumb but considering her past well… I’m not giving more info let’s just say that I’m happy how she ended up being and her guys? They were perfect and did I mention delicious? They were protectors in all possible ways! Totally perfect and easy to love them. Also, one of the things I love the most about this connected series is that we got glimpses of other characters and that’s amazing!! Highly recommend! If you love this town as much as I do you’re going to love Mar’s story too.”

Book 4 in the multi author series Solar Mates. Mars is a collaboration with dynamic authors Gray and Mann. This series is so much fun - full of laughs and steam reverse harem romance and this is no exception to the delight that this series brings! In this book we have our main character Mars whos been on the run but comes to Silver Springs to see a concert with her friend and from there - well...
Great, well written romance with good storyline flow and overall fun and steam to make this romance reader a happy camper!
