A Stinky Conversation Starter “The Toot Fairy is an imaginary journey with concrete results! Children love the absurd, and this will keep them laughing. Discussions will be waiting after the parents have read this book with their child. The author and illustrator have captured the very 'essence' of the 'toot' on each page. I read this to my five year old granddaughter and she couldn’t keep from turning up her nose and saying oh, that’s not nice, and then turning right around and wanting to read it again, and look at the pictures. Such an imagination with truth as the catalyst. Recommend this book for all parents and grandparents.” – Susan B., Texas
This is a cute comical picture book kids will truly enjoy! Such wonderful animated illustrations to help tell the story and keep you laughing. You will literally laugh out loud! Your kids will request this book every night at bedtime. You have heard of the tooth fairy, right? Well this is about the 'toot' fairy! 😂Exactly...a story about poots, gas and farts and where they come from. A normal bodily function you just don't talk about. Well this story changes that, allowing adults and kids to laugh at 'passing gas'! Now we all have someone to blame for our little 'gassy' mishaps! 😂
This book is so fun to read with the kids! We have read it five nights since we got it in the mail. The kids and I laugh as we designate which in the family is SBD and who is the stinkiest and loudest :D Yes, we are that family... The art is beautiful, during the read it holds their attention. We have interaction and ALOT of laughter, which is the best thing about this book. So.much.fun! The cute jokes at the end- I heard my daughter telling some to family visiting for Easter.
This such a cute and humorous book. It contains a lot of tooting humor! I highly recommend for all the children in your life, I promise everyone will love it, 6 year old just loves reading The Toot Fairy! He loves with coming up with other ways to say he’s farted! 😂 it’s quite the conversation, and so may giggles!! We read it a lot!
This book was a hit with the whole family (especially dad)! The kids enjoyed the story and the illustrations so much. The author did a great job making the characters in the book diverse and really put a spin on all things "toot." My kids also liked adding some new jokes to their arsenal! A definite must read for kids of all ages!
With bright colorful illustrations and a fun easy to read story this book is a delight for all ages. I found myself laughing out loud and especially enjoyed the toot fairy's favorite jokes . This is a book I am sure will be read multiple times just for the fun factor.
Oh my! I think this is my little boys new favourite book! ☺️ The pictures are amazing and the story itself is hilarious! I have a feeling the word TOOT will be shouted around my house for many months now! 😆
So cute! My almost 4 year old daughter loves this book!! We both thought it was funny and had some good laughs. She even wanted to sleep with the book after we read it the first time!
The Toot Fairy was, despite the title and gassy storyline, refreshing! When I was growing up, passing gas or even talking about farting was complete taboo and improper (which made the natural body function even more HILARIOUS). A flood of happy childhood memories singing “beans, beans the magical fruit, the more you eat them, the more you toot!” came to mind as I was reading this story to my children, and we ended up sharing funny fart stories and songs. I think that’s what I appreciate the most from this silly story about farts- that in the weirdest and stinkiest way, it made us all around the same age! My children also loved thinking about their mother being a little kid “once upon a time”, and it’s kind of a big deal in the kid-world when grownups read aloud the fart jokes at the end of the book! This is a book that will always be relevant and grow with the child. 10/10 would recommend- and don’t be surprised if you find yourself saying Hello! to the Toot Fairy when she visits you!
One of the most hilarious books we have ever read, perfect for anyone who loves potty humor. If you are looking for a book that will make your little one laugh, you’ve found it! This is a humorous story and we had a lot of fun while reading it. My daughter found the idea of the Toot Fairy to be delightful, smiling at the mischievous fairy and how she delivered toots all across the world. She found her sidekick, Gassy Gus, to be equally adorable. I believe this is a book that will inspire young children to develop a passion for books. The illustrations are bright and colorful, bringing the fun story to life. Speaking about the story, here we have one that might be enjoyed by the whole family, given its fun topic. As a parent, I love seeing books like this. It is refreshing to see the normal function of passing gas presented, with focus on the idea that everyone does it. It’s also fun to blame the Toot Fairy, isn’t it? A lovely book about potty humor, with adorable characters. I highly recommend it if you are looking to have some laughs with your little one, and even to bring out the silly kid in you. The fart jokes at the end of the book were hilarious. What a great idea to take a topic we all deem as uncomfortable and turn into a cute story!
Yes! Yes! Yes! Kids will be begging to read Janet Adam’s The Toot Fairy again and again! Kudos to a hilarious take on the toots, farts, and stinky smells that kids love to giggle about.
The Toot Fairy gets kids acquainted with the person (ahem, fairy) responsible for every gassy moment around the world. She kicks off her day by tending to the baby toots in her gassy garden. (Overfeeding makes them extra stinky!) Then travels the globe with her stinky sidekick, Gassy Gus, delivering stink bombs with style.
The Toot Fairy is a hit for kids, parents, and teachers looking for a fun read-aloud that kids won’t be able to put down. The illustrations are vibrant and add the perfect giggle-worthy touches to an already hilarious story. I highly recommend it!

Come on, everybody toots!! Might as well have a little, or a LOT, of fun reading about toots!! This is great for children of all ages to deal with the subject with humor but also in a way that they can grow in their knowledge and connection with other people and their dogs, especially on taco Tuesday! Great illustrations and flow to the narrative!! Kid approved!!
My 3 year old loved this book and is constantly asking to reread it. She now says the Toot Fairy visited her when she toots. We have shared a lot of laughs because of this book even if she didn't understand the jokes at the end (which I loved the jokes!).
I loved reading this with my five and nine year old. Both have fantastic imaginations, so this book was perfect for them. There were laughs on every page and the jokes at the end were an extra nice touch. We are toot fairy fans!
This book is colorful and has some quite funny moments. The illustrations are well done, but it’s not a book I would enjoy reading to children. Just my opinion.
