The Long Road to Love
Nancy has tried for years to escape her terrible marriage, and now it's officially over. Why does she feel more lost than happy? Nancy Williams is trying to not only rebuild her own life but save her business, which fell by the wayside while she was sorting out her life. As a last-ditch effort, she posts a message on social media and prays for a Christmas miracle. Perhaps she should have been a tad more specific. Nancy didn't expect her miracle to have a charming southern accent and an affinity for Harley-Davidson motorcycles . Having survived a rough childhood and lost the love of his life when he was just a young man, Rex Hudson believes in giving back. When he sees Nancy's destroyed craft shop, he's one of the first to step up and help. Little did he know a little good karma could set him on the long road to love.

Crawford did a good job with this one; it’s a really sweet, quick read. Nancy has every reason to be broken but she plows on and just might get a second chance at love… Great characters we know and love from Crawford’s other books.
Excellent family and friends-who-are-family dynamic and the aforementioned second-chance romance. Book is professionally presented. Lots of people being good to one another without expecting anything in return, something that’s always good to see, even in fiction.
Perfect for a holiday read.
4 stars.

Someone trashed her art store while she was in the hospital, having had the flu.Now starting over with the shop, and her personal life as a Miss again, since divorce was final. Friends see a need and step in to help her with her store. Falling in love and second chances was well done and enjoyable to read.

Lovely story
It is a pleasure to read a story where the woman is probably in her sixties and not "over the hill' or acting like a teenager but ready for love.

Don’t know how I missed reading this novella when it first came out since I love Mary Crawford’s books. This certainly didn’t disappoint me! Love, at any age, heals so much. Rex is perfect for Nancy and vice versa. Not surprisingly, the book touches on emotional subjects like spousal abuse and suicide, but doesn’t dwell on it so much that it takes away from the love between two very deserving people.

I wish this one wasn’t so short, I was totally involved waiting to see what happens next n bam I was on the last chapter. Uplifting and heartwarming novella that shows nice guys don’t always finish last.
