Wow. That was intense.
The first chapter was engaging enough, and I’m glad I stuck with it. I could feel the fear radiating from Jake as he witnessed something horrible involving his neighbor. That was such a terrifying position to be in.
Although the story didn’t completely blow me away, the characters were well-developed, and the plot was driven by mystery and suspense, which I really enjoyed. The twist was predictable at best, but since it was executed well, I didn’t mind.
A short and fun read if you’re looking for something to make you feel uneasy.

Absolutely amazing! The story had my attention fro the get go and held it all the way to the end. I’ve read many novellas and short stories and this one is top notch! While short, the substance had all the makings of a great novel. I can’t wait to read more of Sharon’s stories!

Wow! What a page-turner! This book has plenty of twists and turns that will keep you reading, just so that you can find out what happens next.

Great read!
This was a great little read filled with suspense and plot twists! I thought the characters were well developed and the story was very engaging!
