"The Rift" starts with a strong, although frequently used, premise but quickly devolves into a tangled web of confusing and clichéd subplots. This book has some good character development, especially of strong female characters, but this is not enough to make it stand out. Hardcore time travel fans may find something here but most readers are likely to be disappointed by the confusing narrative and lack of closure.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Time travel and conspiracies combine to make a thoroughly good read. Can't wait for the next one.

Begins with a strong time travel story that's been done before, with a World War II pilot coming through a rift to the present. But as it goes along it gets needlessly complicated with all these unnecessary side characters and B plots. By the time it was over, I was no longer sure what the point of any of it is and the story wasn't over. The art was solid.

Great concept, not fully developed or finished. Ending somewhat ambiguous.

A fun little time travel read.

Interesting imaginative retake on world strange events and an interesting character development.
More than a little disappointed with the last issue focusing on area 51 instead of wrapping up characters stories.
I would hope for another volume to clear things up but I think it’s been to long now, this is likely a one and done.
