Hopefully Jade will forgive me for the last three years.

He didn’t want me three years ago. He made that pretty damn plain. Especially when he allowed that bitch to talk to me as if I were just one of the whores that hangs around the club being passed around like a toy.

After what happened that day and the way he acted like she was right about me being nothing to him, I know now, his feelings for me was not that deep.

“For what? You stood there and told her I was nothing to you. That the two of you could raise the baby together, as a family. You threw me away like trash! I don’t owe you a damn thing!”

I married Brandi when I was only seventeen years old. She had convinced me to run off to Alabama and get married in the courthouse there.

“You chose Brandi over her, man. Don’t say you didn’t because everyone knows that you did. All because you thought her child was yours and you have some old fashioned bullshit in your head about parents needing to be together for the kid.” He shakes his head at me.

I no longer blame her for what she did. I even understand it. She was hurt and by the time she found out she was pregnant with Amber, that hurt had started to turn into something else. She also didn’t want to be the other woman.

I've been so curious about Reaper since his appearance in Timber't Fairy and his book did not disappoint. Reaper made a huge mistake three years ago thinking he was doing the right thing. He didn't realize what all that decision would cost him. Jade couldn't stay and watch the man she loved choose another woman, no matter how noble the act. Only Jade didn't realize that she was taking a piece of Reaper when she left. I love how determined Reaper was to get Jade back! He was not about to let the woman he loves slip through his grasp again. He wanted everything with her and wouldn't stop until he got it. Plus, he stayed true to Jade the entire time they were apart, which to me shows his true regret in losing Jade.

I don't usually post quotes from a book in my review but I really want to share a few of my favorite Reaper moments:

"It's been a long messy divorce that has ruined several things in my life including losing the one that I truly love."

"You don't think it's any of your business? Everything I do is your business."

"You are mine, Jade. You always have been, just as I have always been yours. I'm willing to wait for you to remember that."

"She really does mean the world to me. I need her to forget about my stupid mistake and give me another chance to prove it."

"I want my girl back. Completely."

Love me some MC.

I love MC books. They are fun, fast paced, and oh so dirty. Marissa did not disappoint with Reaper and Jades second chance. And oh I loved little Cole and Amber. Made for a great book.

Reaper and Jade were together only ONE night when she turned 18. His ex who he was fighting a bloody divorce with got pregnant by someone and decided to pop up the next Day to claim Reaper as the father. Everyone else already knew he wasn't, even HE knew it. But divorce is not simple, especially when one claims their child is yours. He chose her because he had to. He thought he could fix it all on his own. Just like a man, right? But it cost him the one he really wanted. All of this is in the book if it's read completely. Hate Reaper if you want to, but hate him for being a stubborn stupid man making the same mistakes other men are out here doing in the real world. He wasn't with both women at the same time.

Reaper and Jade

Reaper made a serious mistake believing another woman and wound up married to her because she lied about paternity of her son. Jade had already moved away and found out that she was pregnant with Reaper's daughter, Amber. Her sister Fire wanted her to move back home and so did Reaper. They finally patched up their issues, but Brandi the other woman comes back into their lives, but to actually get them to adopt and take care of her son, Cole because she just wasn't mommy material. She wound up kidnapped and killed by Reaper and Sparks dads supposedly bestfriend Grant, that also sadly killed his bestfriend and his wife all because he didn't want the club going legit. Redemption

After the first book, I was almost afraid to read this one but I shouldn’t have been. Yes there could have been a little more storyline fleshing out, details like the actual confrontation that lead the h running would have been nice, not just a condensed version. Looking forward to the next book.

I just finished this spin-off book and I love it. Both parties are hurting from a mistake made by Reaper, they're both stubborn but crazy about each other, this book was perfect.
