Chronicles of Micro Monster” is the first anthology by Sidda Raviteja. It is a collection of stories that reflects different aspects of the enormous human tragedy unleashed by the marauding COVID 19 virus, and also raises hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel. The book is dedicated to the individuals who lost their lives taking on the conflict against the Coronavirus illness.
Year 2020 was expected to be just like any other with similar ups and downs , some happy moments and few dull ones but no one even in their wildest imagination expected it to be so awful which will introduce us to a pandemic that will go on to affect the lives of each and every individual involved.
'Chronicles Of Micro Monster' is a short anthology consisting of ten stories each penned down by a different author. All the tales beautifully captures the varied degrees of impact Covid has made in people's lives . Some tales talked about how the pandemic has infact brought their family closer while the other mentioned how it created nothing but gloom and misery in their family.
Each tale is amazingly carved with artistic illustrations that made the reading experience even more heartfelt. The way in such a short compilation , readers are introduced to so many different dimensions of the past one year is applaudable. The cover is soothing and the title couldn't have been more appropriate.
Chronicles of Micro Monster by Sidda Raviteja Book Review: Everything was going nice and okay, apparently it was all cool though the environment was not okay, the people were so busy within their own routine, absolutely normal lives that they hardly had time to think about it or care for it. Sometimes live became mundane but they were used to all that with little joys and sorrows in between. This was the scenario till 2019, people back then were also ignorant about the term because, needless to say never affected their lives directly. They only knew about germs and so kept themselves hygienic. But now, those are far gone away thoughts and my sad self now is thinking about all those days when live was going was what we meant, knew and created to be as normal. We sometimes back then used to brood about our present existences but now we are into such an ordeal that there is no seeming end of this mundanity and it is our friend now! This book has captured this particular dilemma when things started to change completely and inadvertently without our sense of understanding the situation and being trapped in this circumstance for some proved good but for most worst than ever imaginable. COVID (I won't say 19 here because those blissful days will never return as I presume) is that kind of a monstrous harassment that is unbearable but our brain is still bearing it. I will not say how many lives this coronavirus ate away because it is uncountable! and also I don't want to start fresh pains by stabbing on old wounds of those people who whose and faced this invisible threat with their own eyes! This book has a collection of stories that has captured the moments when COVID shattered our lives completely. This book has some positivity to it as well in the story Goldie 's Diary where a new life blooms, full of promises and changes the life of an young father. The lockdown feature of this COVID became a boon for him who whose his daughters transition from a new born to a cute little child. On the other hand, a child's soul took the rebirth as a Coronavirus variant. This story became a bit nightmarish because it may sound absurd and quite difficult to even happen because this has no fact or a solid base but the storyteller's imagination here is praiseworthy because anything can happen during these exceptional and unforseen days. One of the most uncircumcised story that this work has insighted might wrench readers hearts and that is when a mother removes a grandma from her own son and divides the love that her son deserved from her mother-in-law. This story points out that how a disease changed peoples thinking process itself that young child can contact disease from his own grandma! or this story might also give us another perspective, that is COVID became only a medium to lay bear the true intentions of certain people from around us. Another story that has highlighted a hard hitting truth which is very much possible is that a man losses his love and till the year 2025 he remains lonely because of a really small virus which ravaged the world and dusted all his live's purposes. The stories in this book somewhere has featured us and is dedicated to us which is so true that one cannot deny it's factfullness. With an easy language, short crispe understanding and captivating drawings of various people undergoing various changes in this ordeal, this book is a must read for all.

These are short and some stories are really inspiring . They all talk about corona, how corona has affected many of the families. It may be happy for some people and it may be sad for some people . The story I liked was together with hope by divyesh madhav. There was a little boy named Bobby. When he was 3 years old one family adopted him and then abandoned at the same time . But he did not loose hope. She did some work, waking up early in the morning and spend some expenses for his dialy needs. Later he was adopted by a customer named Alex. Bobby called his big brother. Alex provided everything without asking. Bobby was also going to school and got very good marks . At last Alex was hospitalized. Bobby felt really sad . He missed his big brother very much .Finally alex came back after two weeks.
Losing before loving Nikhil has missed his girl friend due to announcemt of lockdown , he felt depressed. Goldie's diary :- Every father has a dream to see their child right from New born till they grow , that's what happened here due to announcement of lockdown , work from home has been assigned. So he was very happy Because he could spend entire time with her daughter.
Really very nice stories. I would recommend this book to everyone. The one who reads this book never regret . I just completed this by one sitting. The main thing I got a surgical mask with the book. Really I am impressed.

It's a compelling anthology which reflects the different emotions and feelings of people in this tradegic times and how they dealth with it.
It has ten different short stories from different authors coming from different culture and environment and bringing the diversity in the storyline. Literature has been a real force in as a coping mechanism with the pandemic and these small shorties provides a much needed quick relief from the travesty of the current world.
Each story captures different emotions for people. Whether it's an extrovert having been confined in their homes or a brother's love and hope in a difficult time to creating new techniques and learning new technologies as a teacher to teach students to be able with your family and spend valuable time with your new born or a heart breaking tale of a Grandma's goodbye. The book has managed to captured each emotions in the shortest possible writing.
The language is pretty lucid. Each illustration has managed to present the story beautifully. It's one the main USP of this book for me. I enjoyed reading the story and at the same time getting to know about the author who wrote them. A good book to enjoy when you need something short and fast to read.
This is a short book involving stories of many normal people in abnormal times of Covid😷 and lockdown, all written by different authors.👬👭
There are stories of both positive and negative effects on the lives of the protagonists.🤨 Someone lost his love at first sight due to lockdown😟 and someone could see and live his first child's precious moments👨👧 of little movements and first times of everything like first crawling, first tooth, first food, first word, etc.😍 Sales of many companies has been crushed↘️ but sales employees need to have positive approach to save their jobs.✔️ A teacher innovated many ideas to teach the students.👩🏻🏫 A mother had to leave her son's family because she was vulnerable for infection and could harm his little child.👵🏻 My favorite one was Goldie's diary where the new born's growth was described during lockdown and unlocks.👶🏻
I enjoyed every story.😌 I wonder how this pandemic do affect everyone differently.🤔 Someone can loose hope and patience but that's our actual test.🙂 We need to constantly be positive (not covid positive😁) towards the life because whatever happens, the show must go on.👍
This is a short but amazing read.📖 The writing style is good.✍️ All stories are aptly narrated. It's recommended to anyone looking for short but enjoyable read.😊
This is the story about the deadly pandemic which we are going through that is the coronavirus. It has made almost everyone suffer in some way . Due to covid we had to stay at home and study and work from home because of this we got a lot of time with our family. This book had both happy and sad elements as of how covid has affected and changed our lives for better and bad. On one had by staying at home we get a lot of things to see , feel and experience which we may have missed because of our busy schedules but it has also affected our financial , mental and physical conditions. This book has short stories of different people about their experiences and how covid affected them and how they survived and had gone through it. The stories in this book are both good stories which will make you feel happy and sad stories which will make you feel angry and upset about covid. This is the most relatable book you will read at this time. Language used is easy and narration is well. Must read👍
The book is an anthology by different people of varying ages, gender and economic, social and emotional status, about how COVID-19 affected their lives. 👥 I must say... Living the pandemic made me realise a lot of things about a lot of people and on top of that, this book made me see a wider spectrum.
🔸The book starts with the story of a man who is utterly distressed with the onset of coronavirus. This young man took some bleak steps and this is how, the first story keeps you stick to the book. 🔸 I loved the second chapter most. It talks about the coronaviruses itself. How the viruses are assigned their duty (of infecting) with a target. It was really fun to read something from this aspect. 🔸 The rest chapters cover a lot of worldly topics like that of homeless people, first love, starting a new life post marriage, teaching online, work from home, life of elderly people and prisoners too. COVID hit each one of them at odds. For some, it bought happiness staying together with family while some experienced dreadful events.
The writing style was uncomplicated and clean. One can read the book in one go and effortlessly learn about distant events and folk.

Pandamic affected people in various ways. The economic and social disruption caused by the Pandamic is devasting. Bereavement, isolation, loss of income and fear are triggering mental health conditions or exacerbated existing ones.
'Chronicles of Micro Monster' is a collection of short stories where the stories bring out the emotions and the complex impact of Pandamic on the lives of people. As I was thinking the stories might be just talking about the real life experiences, the first story by Sourabh pant surprised me with the fictional touch. The stories are unique, slightly different from what we have already read.
Pandamic was something that affected each and every individual hence a reader would surely connect to at least one story in this book. Written in lucid language, the stories has brought out other side of the life. Among all the stories, I was moved by 'Bye Bye Grandma' by Neha Rautela. The story is highly realistic but too emotional. I had a moist eyes reading it...
In brief, all the stories are unique and worth reading for one time. Different readers will connect with different stories. The cover is suitable to the main theme but still could have been better connecting with a few stories. Overall a Good read.
