A rumor destroyed us, and now I'll put back the broken pieces.

Rogue

My life hasn't been the same since she left. Rebel was the one woman who knew me better than anyone else. Long story short, she was tricked into thinking I cheated on her. I didn't, but she didn't care. She wanted to be out of my life and I let her walk away. I shouldn't have, but it's too late now. I have to deal with the consequences of my decision.

For a while we didn't see each other, but last week I caught her with one of the Devore brothers. It lit a fire within me and I knew I couldn't ever let her belong to another man, so I told her. I walked straight up to Rebel and made sure she knew she's my woman and she always will be. I leave her there speechless so she can process what I've said, and by that evening I'm heading out on a run.

It should've been like any other, but it wasn't. I was shot and Rebel came to my bedside. She told me how she feels and I'm not going to let her walk out of my life ever again. She means too much to me, and I'll be damned if I let history repeat itself.

1. The author's warning is too vague. It doesn't have to give away spoilers, but it needs to be specific. People are going to miss out on a book they'd like because this warning sounds like it's trying to scare away everyone. Or, some people might not take it seriously and read something upsetting to them because it's just a blanket trigger warning that is used in all this author's books, so how is anyone supposed to know when the warning is needed and when it's not and what the warning is even warning against?

2. Although I believe everyone should be able to do what they want unless it's hurting someone, I personally think Grant and Rebel having a friends with benefits type relationship is gross. Sex is for serious relationships. Again, I'm not saying other people can't do what they want to, but this is my personal belief, and I don't like to read such in books.

3. There's outside the relationship sex and no trigger warning telling me that. If there was, I would have avoided this book. This doesn't belong in romances, so I give every romance book containing it a 1 star rating. Warn me and I won't read it, which saves me time and saves the author a bad rating.

4. D/s in a casual relationship is not something I agree with or want to read about. It's too intimate and belongs only in serious relationships.

5. An 18 year old man with a 14 year old girl is gross and inappropriate.

6. I don't think the author knows how to use italics properly. It seems randomly used, and it's weird and distracting.

7. Both characters were with other people while apart. I don't like second chance romances because that's really common in them. The extent of the promiscuity and casual sex of the characters is gross.

8. Rogue kept saying Rebel had always been his. Then why did he sleep with other women instead of trying to fix things with her? Why did he wait so long to get her back? None of it makes sense. If a person is "yours", you don't have sex with others.

9. It makes 0 sense for someone to purchase something they thought they'd never use, especially the item in question here. There's no way anyone would buy one of those unless they were going to use it.

10. The breakup made no sense in the first place. He knew her age and should have known that seeing what she saw that she'd need some time to process it because though fake, it must have been difficult to see. And she was only 16 and he was 20. That's a huge difference in maturity in most cases. The way he treated her and broke up with her is inexcusable. 10 years? And he was with a ton of women during that time and still says she's been his the whole time? None of this makes any sense at all. None. Zero.

11. Rogue said multiple times that he didn't want to hear about or think about his woman with another man. Fine but he broke up with her for dumb reasons and he was with how many other women? She was only with one other man in 10 years. He has no room at all to talk. None.

12. I don't feel like there was enough sympathy for the mentally ill person in the book. I get it, but I also think it should have been more acknowledged that the reasons for this person's actions were at least in part outside their control.

13. I'm really upset and disgusted about the mentally ill person's child. There wasn't enough info given about that, and it was really horrible and disturbing - another good reason to give actual trigger warnings instead of just saying "don't read this if anything at all in the world bothers you". There were a lot of holes and missing clarification about this whole thing, also. It doesn't really fit. It just seems thrown in to give some conflict without making sense.

14. Cliffhangers are lame, even if it's supposed to be an interesting way to lead to the next book, which it isn't.

15. Why is Cheeks even still there? The club girls all say the same things in every book. It's ridiculous. Cheeks should have been kicked out a long time ago. Even having club girls doesn't make sense, though. Those with ol' ladies want to subject their women to repeatedly being around women they've slept with? That's cruel. So cruel and ridiculous. Are MC members so lazy that they can't go find someone unless they're in the clubhouse sleeping with everyone? It doesn't make sense.

Overall, I obviously don't recommend this book. There's lazy writing and tons of things don't make sense. And, I'm still mad about Quinn.
If you like actual romance, safe books, or books that make sense, you probably won't like this book.

This is the 4th installment of the Devile's Riot MC and it's just as good as it's previous volumes. It's been a hot minute since I read books 1-3 and it's difficult to recall the goings on in the previous chapters those particular books. However Arthur E.C Land did an excellent job at jogging my memory of the police raid At the bar when Rogue notices Grant Picking up Rebel for there date.

Grant apparently being a good guy and a friend decides to step back and let rebel contemplat what her true feelings are for Rogue.

Rebel and rogue we're once a couple 10 years ago rebel was 16 rogue with 20. Her senior year in high school she received a note in her locker and that note there were pictures. Pictures of rogue being intimate with another woman. Rebel refusing to see the pictures for what they were photo shopped and refusing to believe Rogue would never cheat on her, tore apart the relationship.

Fast forward 10 years Rogue is just as much in love with Rebel as he is always been. Moreover, Rebel is just as much in love with Rogue as she's always been. Rebel kniw the circumstances that surrounding their non-relationship for the past 10 years is her fault. Why? Because of a self proclaim prophecy, she was waiting for the other hammer to drop. Somehow They decide to leave the past in the past and rekindle what they once lost and opt to leave the past in the past.

Unfortunately, the past comes knocking in the form of numerous threats to both Rogue and Rebel. That is until the climax where Rebel receives a copy of the same photograph that landed in her locker 10 years ago. Come to find out the bat crazy bitch is an ex classmate of Rebels.

The female is off her ever loving rocker. Not only is she trying to break apart Rebel and Rogue yet again she step way off the deep end in crazyville USA. This cunt murdered her on child which she named after Rogue even though he has never been intimate with the batshit crazy lunatic. To add additional insult, she aksi murdered her father. However he's not innocent he's just a dirt bag crooked judge.

This batshit crazy woman lores Rebel away from the clubhouse Under the gas of I delivery package at the law office. This is how she's able to kidnap rebel. Of course The Devil's Riot MC doesn't it take this lying down and they have their brother's back when it come to his woman. Together they will tear the town of park to find Rebel.

Now you want any other tid bits you're just gonna have to break down and read the book. I'll be honest with you, I'll breakdown and read the entire series once again as soon as book 5 is available.

I am back with the DRMC Southeast chapter and bring you Rebelling Rogue. So here is an interesting couple. Rogue and Rebel have a past and it is questionable. Now I say that in a good way not a bad one. Here is the reason why. Rogue being older than Rebel when they were together. Rebel is smart, like smart to graduate high school by the age of sixteen and finish college pretty young. Given that she is young, your hormones are every where and are easily influenced. Now even though she is young and impressionable she is independent. She has dealt with things to but not to scary. All it took was one picture to take her happiness away. Rogue being the good man that he is lets her live her life. He still wants her and when he sees her with another man he can no longer take it. It decides then that it will only be him that she is with. Now reading the emotions in this book is intense for sure. Then you have the mystery that pops up trying to dissuade their relationship. There is something going on and trust me it will keep you wanting to read the book faster to figure out who is behind all the bad things going on. Will these two finally get their happily ever after? Check it out to see what happens.

Rebelling Rogue (Devil's Riot MC: Southeast #4) by E. C. Land is a powerful, emotional, twisted love story that will have you on edge from beginning to end.

Rogue and Rebel will get a second chance at love after 10 years of being separated by lies, mistrusts and misunderstanding that kept them apart when they were in love . Rebel is a lawyer for the Devil Riots MC brought in by her cousin CJ who is best friends with RogueXander who Rebel wants nothing to do with. The story picks up with Det. Walton and Judge Harrington issuing a warrant to search the club as he has the men on the ground, but in comes Rebel with all of her bravado. Rebel humiliates both Walton and his father in-law Judge Harrington informing them that they have no cause to be at the clubhouse and that that both of their jobs are on the line. Through all of the drama, one person she did not want to see was Rogue, the one who broke her heart 10 years ago, the man she thought she was going to marry when he walked away after she believed lies instead of believing him As she is being threatened, Grant Devoe and his brothers come into the clubhouse seeing if Rebel needs help, she can see that Rogue is not happy that Grant has his arm around her. Grant and Rebel have a relationship as Dom and Sub but are also very good friends once they are together, Grant will tell Rebel he will always be her friend but will no longer act as her Dom as he could see the looks and tension between her and Rogue and that she needs to confront Rogue . Now we have a story of a second chance of love between two headstrong characters as Rogue not only makes sure Grant knows to stay away from Rebel but now he waits for Rebel at her home as he will show her exactly who she belongs as he will make up for their 10 years estrangement. The relationship between these two was enlightening, hot and explosive as they both see how much time was wasted based on mistrust. Now Rogue gives Rebel everything she needs as her Dom as they have a passionate, hot steamy reunion leading them to start all over again. Now they spend all of their time together until Rebel gets threating notes and when a text arrives with pictures of her and Rogue having sex, but also ones of her and Grant and the same picture of Rogue and a woman whose face is concealed telling her she will pay for taking what isn't hers. In order to keep her safe Rebel stays at the club until they find all of the cameras and the culprit who is responsible.

Thinking they finally have it all under control, to help her unwind from her schedule at the office, he takes her away and with all of the fun they are having being together, they decide to do what should have happened 10 years ago they get married. As they celebrate their life together at the clubhouse they have much cause to celebrate, Rebel will finally be Rogue's ol'lady and learns she is pregnant. As the men are in church, while celebrating with the other women of the MC, she gets a call from her assistant. that another package has been delivered for her at the office, rather than wait for Rogue she goes alone and is about to end up in a world of danger for her and her baby. Once at the office she sees Alanna in danger and learns that Sabrina who is unstable is the one who always hated her at school and is married to Det. Walton set everything in motion when knocks her out. . At the clubhouse when he learns where Rebel has gone Rogue and his brothers have found evidence after much digging they learn that Sabrina sent the pictures to both of them, her hate for Rebel, her obsession with Rogue, naming her baby after him as well as her schizophrenia disorder. When they arrive at Rebel' s office they find Alanna bloody and tied to a chair. and learn Sabrina has taken Rebel Now they are racing to the Judge's house and what they find is something out of a horror movie with the murders of him, his son-in law and a little boy. Rogue puts all the pieces together and with the message Sabrina left him he now knows that she has taken Rebel to the high school where everything started 10 years ago. Rebel awakens and learns from Sabrina that she blames her for Rouge not being with her all those years ago and she was the one who put all of this in motion, as she plans to kill Rebel in front of Rogue. Once they arrive they find Rebel tied up and shot in the leg with a bomb near her. As Sabrina is fighting with Rogue, Hammer and Malice free Rebel and once they learn they can't defuse the bomb, Rebel tells them to chain Sabrina to the beam as they make their escape needing to get Rebel to the hospital. After all of this chaos Rogue and Rebel are able to look towards the future as they enjoy the new journey they will be having together along with his club family. At the club's BBQ, Rogue will learn the gender of his child and we find Gunner who congratulates him turning around and is stunned to see who comes into the club house when he shouts the name Zinnia and Rogue knows that all hell is about to break loose all over again. Now we have to wait for Gunner's book to learn what happens next.

She can rebel but he will not let her get away a second time

Rebelling Rogue is the fourth book in the Devil's Riot MC: Southeast series. It is a second chance with the one that got away story between Rebel and Xander "Rogue". They had been together when they were in high school but that changed ten years ago when a lie ended up causing a split between them, as there was a mistrust that could not be gotten past. Since then they have never found another like they were together and have still loved each other. Rebel and Grant are "together" but it is more of a close friendship with benefits situation. Rebel is now a lawyer and Rogue is in the MC and their paths cross again as she is working for the MC and ends up helping Rogue with a dirty judge and cop. Rogue knows he cannot let Rebel go again and is going to fight for her and make things right again.
This is a fast-paced story with drama, angst, love, danger, suspense and some sweet and delicious smexy passion. The overarching story-line of the MC continues but the story concentrates on Rebel and Rogue. I liked how he finally was willing to fight for Rebel, even if he is fighting her.

I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Another great addition to the Devil's Riot MC: Southeast.

I really enjoy this series and the writing. You get to get the MC life and the alpha males who are part of the club in a quick read.

The characters are from previous books in the series as well as popping up in the linked series by E.C. Land so you get to enjoy watching characters grow and seeing favorites from the past.

In this book, we get Rouge's story. He lost his childhood sweetheart Rebel 10 years ago thanks to a lie. Both made mistakes and neither have really moved on. Now Rebel is back in Rouge's life he's decided enough is enough, it's time to get Rebel back.

Rouge's plan is simple, make himself a part of her life until she can see that's how they are supposed to be. Before he can pull it all off he has to go on a job for the club, it doesn't go as planned and Rouge's life is on the line. It's enough of a scare for Rebel to admit that she does still love Rouge and they can move forward if he just pulls through.

But Rouge's injuries aren't the only thing to worry about, threats start coming at both Rouge and Rebel. What's worse is they are bringing up the past. Can they figure out who the threat is before it's too late?

Happy reading.

Rogue and Rebel's story was perfect! And can I just say - it's awesome that she was NOT celibate during their separation!! I love Rebel and Grant's relationship/friendship and how he handled everything.

Lies and deception tore Rogue and Rebel apart and even though Rebel knew it was lies I really sympathized with her thoughts that there was no fixing it. Besides, I don't think they could have fixed their relationship until years later. I'm sure there will be the opinion that all they needed to do was talk it out like adults - but pride can be a real bitch and sometimes us stubborn women don't know how to heal the damage.

Even though Rebel was struggling with her trust issues due to the past, she still went all in with Rogue. Their second chance was beautiful - they learned from their mistakes and leaned on and fully trusted each other. There were no secrets or trying to take care of the issues on her own. Bonus for me, I like that Rogue was the one dealing with images of his woman with another man - that was a refreshing change.

Now, I am super curious about Gunner's story and will be impatiently waiting on it.

I so loved Rogue and Rebel’s story. It is a second chance, and a little enemy to lovers. Rogue and Rebel were together until something happened. Rogue swears it was a lie, but Rebel didn’t trust him, so he broke up with her. He has never stopped loving her and he is now going to fight for her. Rebel has been with Grant for a few years, but it is more of a friendship. Grant realizes that Rebel has some unfinished business. I love their friendship. He would do anything for her and wants her happy. Rebel and Rogue need to figure out their feelings for each other. Once again there is someone trying to come between them. Who can it be? Is it the person from ten years ago, or someone entirely different? This one had me guessing left and right and let me tell you, you will be shocked who it is. I was. EC has this way of just putting those twists in the book. You never know when or where the twist or twists will come. These two are meant for each other and you can see that their connection is as strong as ever. Will Rebel be able to open herself up fully and trust Rogue? This was a great book. I loved these two.

Ten years ago Rebel had belonged to Rogue, but she let a lie separate them. She floundered, looking for a safe harbor, and kinda finding one in her best friend, Grant. However, one unexpected encounter with her past love changes everything.

Rogue let her go 10 years ago because he was foolish. In all the years without her, he never found a woman who could hold a candle to his Rebel. So after seeing her in the middle of a chaotic encounter at the club owned bar, Rogue decided to rectify matters and remind his woman who she belongs with.

This is a fast and short read, but delightful just the same. The twists in this story are artfully crafted to make the reader wonder what is waiting around the corner. And the surprise at the end... Mercy! Well, the author is adapt at changing things around suddenly. Please take a chance on this latest edition of the Devil's Riot MC Southeast series.

This is such a great narrative on the second chance trope! Rebel was young and easily impressionable when her and rogue first got together. He did the mature thing and walked away even telling her flat out "Call me when you grow up" Not the sweetest goodbye but necessary! It may take YEARS! but Rebel is finally forced to look at her life and admit she was wrong! With age comes wisdom and the ability to think with an adult mind makes things easier! When the same enemy comes at them again Rebel has the forethought to not let doubt take hold and she works with Rogue to ensure their future. I loved this story!

There are some editing and grammar issues that are noticeable and some reread of sentences to sort small details is necessary. Some details are missing that don't hurt the story but would have been fun to know and the plot is a continuation from the previous books so they should be read first!

Rogue and Rebel were meant to be until a deceitful rumour teared them apart. Now club lawyer Rebels moved on with Grant Devore and when Rogue sees them together he realises what he lost and how he didn't fight hard enough for them. Headstrong Rogue puts it all on the line telling and showing  Rebel how he feels but will she do what she always and hides away from confronting things in her live of is there a chance of a future together? But wil fate change their course when Rogue gets shot on a club run?will history repeat itself? Well written with an engaging fast paced storyline a great addition to the series! The characters truly make the book feel complete the way EC Land creates a whole universe of amazing characters, dark and twisting, funny  action packed, and steamy is beyond anything!

It was heartbreaking to see all that Richie/Grim went through with his father. I was a bit confused as to how all that Evangeline/Rogue went through only to have the same players show up later threatening her and all she holds dear! Oh see, they do not have a clue who they have triggered when messing with her. Their is a reason why Grim got his name and to be honest he comes by it honestly. You know working with cars and all that entails you better believe Rogue knows her way around tools. Not only does she know what they are used for but she knows how to use them. Are they going to find their happy between these two? WIll they catch those responsible for her mistreatment? How is Grim going to keep her safe? Is Rogue going to keep Grim safe? Pick up this remarkable tale and find out for yourself!

Great book

I love everything EC Land writes and this book is no exception. Rebel & Rouge were highachool sweethearts until lies separated them. What I liked about thos book is that unlike some of the other books where the guy basically goes on with his life and sleeps with several clubwhore to " help the void of his true love" while being separated...and the girl either has no sex in all the years they are separated ( ridiculous) or very little...this books straight up let's you know Rebel had been with another man..Grant...who is a badass himself and just so happens to be in dealings with Rogues MC. Finally we see a woman who doesn't sit around and wallow in her broken heart but finds another man to help please her sexual appetite. Really looking foward to Gunners book...wish it was coming out sooner.

This is the fourth book in this series and is Rogue and Rebel’s story. These two were in love until someone manipulative tears them apart, and now 10-years later they each love the other as much as they ever did, and when Rogue comes across Rebel with another man, he makes sure in no uncertain terms that she is his. When Rogue leaves on a run he is shot, and Rebel rushes to his bedside. But when the past rears its ugly head again they are both in danger, and they have challenges to overcome along the way. This is a well written story which is a second chance at love, and is filled with lies, manipulation, drama, twists, friendships, passion, emotions, and love which leads to a steamy and all-consuming page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Rebel is a successful lawyer who had a relationship with Rogue in her teens - admittedly their age difference when they began dating was a little too much for me. Due to mistrust and lies they ended their relationship when they were teenagers. Fast forward ten years and Rogue decides that he's not done with Rebel and pursues her. Rebel admits to still having feelings and when Rogue is injured admits to still caring about him. They pursue their new relationship and attempt to move forward. Old enemies resurface to cause problems and try to keep them apart. Lots of action and plenty of steam (light D/s) keep this quick read moving.

Rogue and Rebel were a couple 10 years ago and a picture was sent that tore them apart. 10 years later she is still fighting the urge to be with him and he is trying to get her back. After he is injured and they start to reconnect they start to receive packages and text messages give them a warning to stay away from each other. When Rebel gets taken and they figure out who has will they be able to save her or will I all blow up in their faces? This story has a few twist and turns you may not expect and will keep you on your toes wanting to find out who, what, and why. I was sucked into this book and didn't want it to end. An amazing story that didn't disappoint but will keep me coming back for more. Can't wait to read what she has next.

A nice tie in with the series but this book focuses more on what is happening closer to home.

Rogue and Rebel were together when young but their relationship was tested by claims of cheating and neither fought hard enough for the other to make it work.

Fast forward a few years and when Rogue realises Rebel is with an acquaintance of his, he is determined to get her back.

Old memories and old enemies come out of the woodwork and yet a HEA (or HFN) is guaranteed

Mildly formulaic at this point in the long running series it doesn’t stop each book being an enjoyable interlude

Interesting twist on this story with a young couple who are torn apart and finally get their second chance at love. Rogue finally comes after his Rebel after seeing her with another man. Rebel was no shrinking virgin during their time apart, but I found it amusing Rogue made sure she knew he only allowed the club hoes to give a bj and no sex. The stalker was kind of a weird situation, but I've gotten used to the author not really explaining a lot in her stories. You know what you're getting with this author.

Rebel is the lawyer for the club. Her cousin is a member, and she was once with Rogue. Standing in the clubhouse, looking at a warrant, Rebel let's the Sheriff know exactly what is up. It is when Rebels best friend, Grant, comes in that Rogue gets irritated.

Rogue decides then, Rebel will be his. In the process of these two coming together, there is someone stalking Rebel. Rogue will stop at nothing to make sure that Rebel is protected.

I recommend this book! I love all the characters from Devil's Riot! If you are looking for a new MC or Author, Land should be one of you top picks!

Rebelling Rogue Rebelling Rogue (Devil's Riot MC: Southeast Book 4) is a love story that gives hope to those of us who have given up on love. Rebel and Rogue have known one another since they were kids. He has always looked out for her, and they have always loved one another. A rumor tore them apart, but their love always remained.

With intense MC action, suspense, a few twists, lots of erotic romantic activities, and a bit of a mystery, this book is a page-turner that keeps you engaged from the first page to the end. You will love the characters and root for them all the way.

Second Chance Love and a Psycho

Rebel and Rogue had been together years ago but it was her distrust of his faithfulness that she couldn’t handle. So, what happens when that very same person who sent that picture to Rebel comes back into the picture again after all of these years? All h*ll breaks loose and even though Rebel and Rogue are trying to make a go of it again things are getting more dangerous for Rebel with the stalker that she now has.

I loved the connection and chemistry between Rebel and Rogue. There is some seriously messed up stuff at the end and the suspense in this book made this a one-sit read for me.

How can you put down a book that has you captivated throughout the whole thing. This is a fast-paced book that has action, drama, danger, suspense, fear, pain, anger, kidnapping, evil, passion and love. Rebel and Rogue were an item 10 years ago but lies and deception broke them apart. Rebel is still trying to get her life together after breaking up with Rogue. He sees her with another and he decides that he's done waiting, he's going to get his girl. Does he get Rebel back? Do they find their HEA? Great series of the Devil's Riot MC Southeast. Wow! This book was fantastic! I love second chance romance and a touch of enemy to lover story! This is Rebel and Rogue's story. I was so engrossed in this story that I had no idea how much time had passed as I read. I did not want to put this one down. I loved their connection, chemistry and struggle to fight their feelings from the past and present. Can they overcome their past? Can they open their hearts again?Who is so determined to keep them apart and why? Not to mention the twist and turns that you will not see coming! Does love conquer all? Check out this book to find out the answers! You will be glad you did! I can not wait to see what this author offers next!!

This intriguing story captured my attention and kept me glued to the drama. Rogue and Rebel were teenage sweethearts until a photo tore them apart. Her life has been filled with losing people she loves. Now ten years later she and Rogue reconnect, and the sparks are still there, but the past has resurfaced as well. Will Rebel let the past once again steer her to unhappiness or will she take the bull by the horns and make her own happiness. This story will have you cheering Rogue and Rebel on to finding the chance for a happily ever after.

I don't care 4 the spot where they r in FL then he gets shot 2. It starts this but then never explains anything about it. It just should have brought it up sum and explain things instead it's makes me think of like 2 stories fighting cause it doesn't explain anything about it. It feels unfinished 2 me cause of that. And at the end about the deaths what happened and why? Was it all from the psycho bitch or what? It's bad enough they broke up and apart 4 10 yrs. But when they got back 2gether it was a dream come true 4 her. Until they figure out why is things happening like it is then things could b stopped once and 4 all. Those bitches there at the club need kicked out completely asap!!

Rogue and Rebel have loved each other since they were kids. But ended badly because Rebel chose not to trust Rogue. Ten years have past and they are now around each other as Rebel is the lawyer for the club. They have always been meant for each other, but thing happen in life! Rogue know he needs to have her in his life, she is it for him. He just needs to convince her of that. Will Rogue get his way and get Rebel back in his life. Or will the mistakes from the past once again come between them?
