Joker…
Skeletons and secrets. We all have them. They weigh on our souls, even when we try to fool ourselves and pretend they don’t. Since I was a kid I’ve carried a secret that haunts me, casting shadows of doubt over every relationship I have.

I know the signs of someone hiding the truth, because I do it every day. And the sexy little vixen who walked into our Soulless Kings MC definitely isn’t telling us everything. Despite my growing attraction, I’ll die before I let her problems harm my family. The second she brings any trouble down on the club, the biggest problem she’ll have to face... is me.

Riley…
Dodge and weave. As a boxer, that’s what I’m good at. Now, it might be what’s keeping me alive. Someone is after me, threatening the lives of those I love. To protect my friends, I ran... straight into yet another problem.

The MC seems a perfect place to hide, surrounded by renegade bikers. While Joker, the Sergeant at Arms of the club, is sinfully sexy, I can tell he’s suspicious of every move I make. His distrust is palpable, and I fear the very worst if he learns I lied. Yet, when the danger stalking me closes in, I have no choice but to expose my skeletons… and see where they fall.

Fantastic!!

Riley/Black Bird is at the top of her game in the boxing world just her deceased father was. She has her trainer and a few friends…and a stalker. After all of the things sent to her and knowing someone has been in her home it takes one of her friends being badly hurt and she knows she has to run to pull the stalker away from them.

Joker is the SAA for the Soulless Kings MC and has learned the heartbreakingly hard way to never trust a woman. His mother taught him that lesson beginning as a small child. He’s been guarding a secret from his best friend along with all of his brothers for years.

When Joker and Black Bird meet its like gasoline is thrown on a fire which causes danger and heat. These two had it in spades. What a great story of overcoming and staying strong. Twists and turns with surprises galore. About the time you think you have things figured out…BAM!! I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for more work from this author.

Joker is book two in the Soulless Kings series by Andi Rhodes and Nicole Cypher. The book focuses on Joker and Riley. We met Joker in the previous book, he is a hard man, who doesn’t trust women at all (why would he with his history). When he meets Riley, he has an instant attraction to her but knows that she is hiding secrets that could possibly put his brothers/family in danger. To make matters worse, his mother has also turned up again and opened a bag of worms that Joker isn’t ready to face.

Riley is scared and she has nowhere to turn other than to the Soulless Kings for help. What starts off as a white lie puts her on Joker’s radar and they have a lot of arguments due to her lack of honesty, something which is integral to Joker. But when the truth comes to light, Joker will do anything in his power to help the strong yet vulnerable woman, which in turn will help him slay his own demons in the process.

I really liked that Riley was a tough woman in the world of boxing and she did what she thought was right to protect her friends. She puts up with a lot from Joker and his mean ways but she calls him out on it. Even though she is slow in trusting him, she knows that he is broken too and she sees that first hand when his mother turns up out of the blue.

Not everything was roses for this couple and there are times where Joker can be quite brutal but as he gets closer to Riley we see a more human side to him, especially when he tells his brothers what happened to him when he was a child. This is definitely a gritty MC series with lots of actions, honesty, violence and some very hot sexy times. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

I would rate this negatively if I could. Seeing all the positive reviews leaves me questioning all the others who read this. Maybe we have different tastes or maybe I'm not the loyal reader of said authors but I absolutely HATED the zero Joker. Joker...hah, he was a joke! No way he was hero material. When it comes down to it I place blame for my dislike of this book solely on the authors. Shame on y'all for creating such a terrible hero and creating a messed up past for him to use as an excuse to treat women so goddamn horribly. There was no redemption. Nothing appealing about this book. And the stalker? Figured out who was gonna be after the first chapter and was right. 🤷‍♀️ I finished this book freaking frustrated and disgusted by the hero and the fact the heroine supposedly fell in love with him. Hah, good riddance to both of ya.

Here is all my thoughts/notes/ranting while reading. Have fun.

•⟩⟩ From the first chapter I wasn't feeling the hero Joker. I try not to judge the MCs too early in the book but damn, he did not make it easy. The fact that he acted like a complete asshole, forcefully kissed the heroine Riley which she never responded to and then put his hand on her neck as a threat wanting to scare her bothered the hell out of me. This was also while everyone was to believe the heroine Riley was a battered woman on the run which she wanted them think. Distrust of women or not that was absolutely not acceptable to me. And more so, what the fuck was with suddenly grabbing her and forcing a kiss on her? The placement was all wrong for such a move. It didn't make a lick of sense to the story and was so random and out of place.

But back to Joker being an asshole. He legit said "too bad he didn't have the Nightmare Room ready" because that would get Riley talking. Whatthefuck? Like, I get it. He's distrustful and especially of women because he has mommy issues but come onnnn. He's suspicious of her story, and yes Riley obviously can't lie for shit so it's super obvious to him she's not being honest. But what is with him being so damn violent about wanting to get the truth out of this woman who is a stranger to him? Especially not knowing her full story so for all that dumbass knew she WAS running from an abusive ex or something. His reaction to her was just plain unreasonable and I hated how he treated her. I didn't understand his hostility. Especially when he's supposed to assume she's a battered woman. Who acts like that? 🤔😬

And once again by 20% he "lunged from the bed" and wrapped his fingers around her throat when she attempted to leave the hotel room to get her own room. WHAT THE EVERLOVING HELL! And then, as if this couldn't get worse...the "hero" continues to terrorize the heroine by ignoring her when she asks for her bag because she forgot her clothing and so she has to walk out into the room in just her towel. He openly ogles her and enjoys seeing her thighs and when she notices him watching he proudly adjusts his erection. She narrows her eyes and watches him in disgust, even after he goes further by whipping his dick out and jacks off right in front of her. Unbelievable! And then tells her "I bet your pussy would feel so much better."

Seriously? Authors, hello! Was this supposed to be attractive or sexy? Because it absolutely fucking wasn't! This wasn't okay. None of how he treated her was acceptable behavior! Putting his hands on her especially was not okay! He was basically terrorizing her for God sake. 🤬

"I can't believe I let myself do that. My disgust with myself now matches hers."

.......

"I look at my reflection in the mirror and hate what I see. When did I become this man? When did I become so fucking cynical and evil that I'd jack off in front of a battered woman without a second thought?"

LOL poor bitch baby blames his mommy abandoning him when he was five and then coming back to kidnap him. And apparently when his prez's ol' lady betrayed his family...but that's bullshit because if he's referring to Fender and Charlie from the first book then we cleared all that up. Charlie didn't betray Fender or his club so...🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Honest to God this was such a pathetic attempt at creating a "broken" character. I don't see how any of those caused him to act like such a piece of shit aside from generally being distrustful of outsiders and especially women.

It wasn't until after all of that crap he began to semi redeem his character (very tiny things that didn't amount to shit tbh) but I couldn't stop side eyeing his bitch ass. He swung from a somewhat calm personality to full on rage and woman hater in 1.5secs. He was all over the spectrum.

•⟩⟩ I did like the heroine Riley at first. I felt awful for her dealing with her stalker. It sounded horrible. Especially because she felt weak for being scared of him and letting it disrupt her life. What pissed me off was her boxing trainer acting like she was being dramatic by letting it mess with her focus and her life. Christ sakes the stalker was breaking into her house, messing with her head and threating her friends. Even worse? Leaving dead animals on her doorstep including a kitten. But in the end I didn't much care for her character either. She was alright at times but she chose to be with Joker and I couldn't stop judging her for that.

At one point after he kisses her again and she actually kissed him back things heated up real quick but he didn't notice her struggling and he was all "wtf you didn't say no. Didn't tell me to stop." She tells him he had his tongue too far down her throat to say anything but she was telling him physically by pushing him off. He gets angry and calls her a tease and storms out. Later, the heroine is contemplating why she let him kiss her and has this thought: "... I come to the same conclusion. He's right, I'm a tease. I fucking kissed him back. I fucking like it. I WANTED it. I started to want even more than a kiss, and that thought alone scared the shit out of me."

Hm so now she's shaming herself because she changed her mind and hurt his big baby man feelings?? 🙄

•⟩⟩ Turns our the "hero" had much bigger mommy issues. Like, his mom kidnapped him from his father and used him as currency to pervs to get her next fix. So for months he was abused when he was five before his father found him. Now, okay. He had a valid reason to hate his mother. He had a valid reason to even be distrustful of women because of his mother's actions. To completely hate women to the degree he seemed to? I don't know. It didn't seem to fit for me. And yes, I can imagine never expressing what happened to anyone and keeping it bottle up could lead to him being even more violent and ragey but honestly? When it came down to it I refused to let any of his past be enough to excuse his behavior with the heroine for majority of the book. It was inexcusable.

Especially because the heroine defended him to his crack hoe mom and did a beat down on her in front of him. So, miraculously this opened his eyes to believing his distrust in women might have been wrong. And then they fucked and the heroine was already thinking she loved him. Fucks sake. 🤦‍♀️🤣 By the next chapter she's looking at another gym, realizing boxing isn't something she can walk away from but neither is Joker.

"This is who I am, and I'll never walk away. But I don't think I could ever walk away from Joker either.

Oregon is who I am. The Souless Kings. JOKER."

This is by 61%, by the way. Pretty sure Riley had only known Joker and the Kings for almost a week? If it was more the author did a poor job of expressing that. I couldn't even believe in them romantically or having deeper feelings. Exactly where were they supposed to have developed them, hmm? Nowhere I saw.

It didn't make any sense to me that this chick would decide to stay in Oregon, uproot her entire life and stay with the hero who treated her like shit most of the book. His past was no excuse but she allowed it to be and used it as "understanding" him so ignored all the bad. But most importantly, what about her friends back home in California?? She left specifically to protect them. Guess it didn't matter when she found an asshole with a dick to take care of her.

This book wasnt what I was expecting. It wasn't particularly good. The writing was fine but the characters? Hahaha lord no. Riley was the better character but they ruined her too. She supposedly fixes him. Come on. I mean I get the idea. The plot they put together but the execution was so bad. I can't even give any positive marks for it. Joker was a terrible character and his past absolutely did not excuse his actions. He needed therapy, not a sympathetic chick with a welcoming pussy to fix him.

Actually, no. The only positive thing I can say was the opening chapter introducing Riley and her confronting her stalker was really good. It was both intense and suspenseful. Made you feel her fear and anxiety. Legit the only scene worth remembering.

Joker is the second book in interconnected Soulless Kings MC series. Oh my!! This book was amazing in its gritty, gripping, riveting, engaging, dark, heartwarming and heartbreaking glory. This is an emotional story that will hit you straight into your feels, wreck you in the best possible way and then piece you together. I couldn’t help but be captivated by the amazingly written story with its beautiful, raw, twisted, heartbreaking, engrossing plot that the authors so skillfully told and intertwined. Joker will keep you on the edge of your seat with chaos, tragedy, heat, secrets and revelations.

Joker and Riley are like moth to a flame. They know they shouldn’t feel attracted to each other, but they do, it’s unavoidable. They are both flawed and complex. Neither of them in the beginning is looking for a relationship, but the feelings got intensified and involved. Their timing might be a little off because they both have so much going on and they are focused on different things, but when they are together everything just makes sense and feels better. Joker is the man who is honestly misunderstood and such an enigma. Riley is his perfect match but she also brings trouble with her. When these two meet there is an instant dislike and aversion because Joker is convinced that she is lying. He doesn’t trust easily because of his past so he wants to make sure Riley isn’t really a threat. Their love story is full of suspense, intrigue and lots of love-hate heat. It was very difficult for me to put this book down and stop reading because I was very invested in their story which hooked me from the first page and had me rooting for their happy ending. The chemistry and tension between Riley and Joker was everything. I liked them from the moment they met, though I wasn’t always in agreement of Joker’s treatment of her. The pace of the story added to their romance and to them figuring out place in life and new circumstances of situation. It was flirty, fun, touching, heartbreaking and heartwarming. I love they both helped each other heal, learned valuable lessons and how to move on from the past and truly start living. These two made me smile, laugh, swoon, cry and experience a lot of feelings along the way. I love the way they fell in love; that they love completely and all of their faults, broken, damaged pieces. Their love story is not perfect and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
This book was so entertaining but also sad when Joker’s past comes to light. I just wanted to hug him.

It was fast paced, full of twists and turns with such a beautiful love story that had everything I love: vulnerable, jaded, strong and fierce heroine, protective, vulnerable, complex, layered hero, brotherhood and loyalty of MC members, plenty of danger, steam and romance. This slowly becomes another one of my favourite series. Cannot wait for the next books.

Joker is a jaded man, he’s the enforcer for the Soulless Kings MC and he takes his job very seriously. When Widow brings home a stray from the bar, Joker’s sense are on high alert. The trouble is that it makes him a real jerk. He doesn’t trust women and when he sees Riley in the bar with Widow, he instantly doesn’t trust her. “My mother may not have raised me, but she taught me one hell of a life lesson at a very early age: women can’t be trusted.” Too bad he is pushed into watching her and trying to figure out if she’s lying or not when she tells the club why she’s hanging out there with Widow.

Riley is on the run. She’s a strong woman and can handle herself, but when her friends are threatened and she has no idea who is doing the threatening, she can’t stick around to see anyone else be hurt. She’s decided to leave the only place she’s known and try to get the person or people that are stalking her to leave her friends alone. Her path leads her to the Soulless Kings MC, and she has no knowledge of them or their lifestyle, so things are a bit interesting in the beginning. Then she has to convince a man that doesn’t trust her that she isn’t there to hurt his family.

I loved reading this book. There are a lot of crazy things going on and the MC isn’t sure where the threats are coming from. When they learn the truth and the danger reaches top levels, Riley’s life and longtime friendship are in jeopardy. There are other factors at play as well that could not only harm Riley, but Joker as well. Joker is the man that you hate, but then you fall in love with him when his vulnerable side comes out and he shows his soul. I wanted to punch in the beginning because of his crass, rude attitude, but then when his soft side came out, I wanted him to be mine. He may be grumpy, suspicious, and growly, but he’s also loyal, patient, and very sexy. I give this book a 5-star review and I am so looking forward to more of the Soulless Kings MC.

Joker & Riley

As I waited for Gibson (the most recent book in the series) I realized I had missed reading Joker book 2 in the series I love. Had to fix that and I did. Wow! Loved it and the entire cast.

Riley is a known female boxer. She's moving up and winning fights. A stalker interrupts her success. Her friends and team just think the gifts and other acts are her imagination until a threat is more than words. She has to protect her friends, team, and herself by leaving and telling no one where she is going.

With a lack of sleep and concern, she isn't safe just leaving she goes to have a drink and meets some of the Soulless Kings' family at the bar. An offer to give her a safe place to sleep for a few days seems like a bad idea but a necessary evil.

Joker doesn't trust women. He sure doesn't want this one bringing her trouble. At the same time, Joker's past is plaguing him. He doesn't want to admit that she appeals to him. When the Prez assigns him as her protector sparks sparkle. Is there more than hate between them?

This MC is filled with family. The brothers, and their women, all work to back up each other. When Joker reacts so strongly they try to figure out what's affecting him besides Riley. Did she tell them the truth? Lies don't go with the club. If she is found to be lying will they continue to protect her?

The relationship, the danger, the club closeness, characters, and steam, all make for a wonderful MC read that deserves more than 5 stars.

Riley (Black Bird) is a successful boxer who is running from a stalker where she is befriended in a bar by Widow an Ol' Lady of the Souless Kings, seeing her bruises she automatically thinks she's running from an abusive ex and offers her a place to stay.

Joker has an inherent dislike and mistrust of women ever since his his abusive treatment as a child from the one person who is supposed to love and protect, his mother. When Riley turns up at the Clubhouse, immediately his hackles rise and he knows she is lying, all he needs to do now is find out the truth and when he does, can he protect her.

Second book in the series and wow, it is entertaining, exciting and kinda sad, as the truth of his abuse comes to light, I never got an inkling as to who the stalker was until the last minute so that kept an element of surprise. I'm looking forward to reading the next book and I hope it won't be too long.

I really enjoyed Jokers story. Joker meets Riley and straight off he knows she is lying to him and the MC he doesnt trust women and he really doesnt trust Riley even thought he is attracted to her. Riley is in trouble but rather than ask for help she comes up with a small fib but unbeknown to her the others have seen straight through it. They both have issues Joker especially with his mother and he never told anyone especially the brothers. There is a lot going on and a lot of threats are heading their way and they have no clue who is behind it. The truth is revealed about Riley as well as who was gunning for her and I really didnt call this one and I usually can. In the beginning i didnt like Joker but in the end I loved him, he is everything you want in an MC brother ,he is loyal, vicious , questions everything and loves hard. Looking forward to the next one.

Love this book. Love Joker and Riley’s romance story. Riley is a famous boxer. She ends up gaining unwanted attention from a stalker. After her last fight, she ends up running in hope of saving her friends. She finds herself at a bar owned by the Soulless Kings. One of the ol’ ladies offers Riley to come to the clubhouse with her. She ends up meeting Joker at the clubhouse. Joker is mistrustful of women, so he acts all broody. The next day Joker is going out of town to pick up parts. Charlie suggests that Joker take Riley with him. Joker doesn’t want to but Fender overrules him. During the trip, Joker pretty much interrogates Riley on who she is. Riley ends up lying to him. During the trip, Riley learns that her stalker found her. Later on, she will disclose who she is and that she has a stalker. Joker finally starts to trust Riley after she stands up for Joker to his mother. Love how these two end up together. Worth the read

Do you want a love-hate relationship? Well, you have come to the right place. Joker is the man we all want to hate but just cannot. I loved him in the first book and was so looking forward to his book. What we think we know about Joker is all wrong. He is complicated and protective (reluctantly) and so very rough and gruff. Enter Riley who has a very big problem. It was very clever having Riley be a boxer. She is strong and defiant and wants to protect those around her. You go girl! When these two get together you see sparks flying. There is tension and it is all over the place. These authors write a fascinating tale of wrongs and rights that will leave you on the edge of your seat waiting for what will happen next. This story does not disappoint. I loved it.

I received a complimentary copy from the author.

It was refreshing for a biker romance where it wasn't all instant attraction, amazing orgasms and getting married/pregnant after three days. I remembered how I'd wished for a female character who could throw a punch and but I love how Riley can defend herself and Joker!
Joker's character takes some warming up to and it just shows that people hide dark secrets which clouds how others see them. It was only when he started to let Riley in that he was able to open up to his family, that's when we realised he was lovable all along. I understand why Riley was so guarded and I really respected that she was a strong female character with a kick ass career. I loved how she literally fights for Joker, that she's in his corner and she made him see it, he needed someone like that in his life.
Overall, great book and looking forward to the next!

This is the 2nd book in this amazing series and is Joker and Riley / Black Bird’s story. Joker is the enforcer for the MC, and it is a job he has great pride in, and when he spots Riley in a bar with Widow, all his instincts are on high alert, as he is jaded from his past and does not trust many women. Riley is on the run, and she is now under the scrutiny of the MC, and Joker is staying close to her to uncover the truth and to protect his brothers. The chemistry between these two is combustible and undeniable. This is a well written story which is filled with secrets, family, loyalty, emotions, twists, danger, suspense, surprises, and love. I was totally enthralled throughout this addictive page turner, and this talented duo has done an outstanding job in weaving this storyline, and I look forward to reading more from them, and I highly recommend their work.

A great enemies-to-lovers MC romance. Joker was so skeptical but after knowing his childhood, I could totally understand. My heart broke for him for hiding his secrets for so long. Riley was feisty and I loved that she stood up for herself. The twist and turn of the mystery stalker had me guessing the whole time. I truly enjoyed this suspenseful MC romance.

New to this author but WOW can she write!
Joker is the second book in her Soulless Kings MC romance story line. For me it was a quick read but worth the time I spent doing it.
The fire between Joker and Black Bird is sizzling! Joker a member of a 1%er motorcycle club with strong mistrust in anyone outside the “family”, especially women.
Riley (Black Bird) a boxer on the run from a deranged stocker out to hurt her friends since she has no family once her father passed away.
What were the odds of them ever meeting? Slim to none until they literally ran into each other and fate would not let them go there separate ways.
What happens to them? OMG! You have to read this book to find out.

Joker was so good! The twist and turns will keep you reading until you finish the book!

Joker and Riley are like gasoline and matches in the beginning, definitely leery of each other and definitely attracted to each other too. Joker’s story is sad but once you learn his secret it is understandable why he has the attitude and opinions he does about women. Riley is on the run from a stalker but is keeping it a secret from the Soulless Kings. However, when their respective walls come crumbling down they are explosive together!

Joker is Book # 2 in The Soulless Kings MC Romance series. It is a dark and gritty series with main characters who stand out and make you laugh, cry and cheer them on! I can’t wait to read what happens next in Piston, Book # 3 in the series.

This was a fabulous read! The flow of the story was well thought out and seamless. I never felt confused or lost as to where I was. The heroine is a kick ass (literally) and take names woman. Reilly has a soft heart and a great sense of humor. The hero is a tough as nails bad boy with a troubled past. Yet, there is a spark of hope within Joker. Their friends and family have their backs the whole way. I laughed outload several times while reading this book. Much to the wonderment of the people around me. I was guessing until the very end as to who was causing Reilly all the trouble.

This is the second book in the Soulless Kings MC. I cannot wait for the third book of the series.

I was sent a complimentary copy of this book from the author.

There is a stalker after Black Bird (Riley) a top class female boxer and it is getting more intense leading to one of her friends getting really hurt. Riley decides to protect herself and her friends and goes on the run to escape. She meets Widow who assumes she is running from a violent ex and is taken in by the Soulless Kings MC for protection. Joker the tough club enforcer, immediately smells a rat, he knows she is telling a lie and makes her pretty unwelcome.

The story has plenty of plot twists, drama, danger and tension and a potent chemistry between Joker and Black Bird. We learn about Jokers sad past and why it is so difficult for him to trust anyone outside of the SKMC. I really enjoyed this story and looking forward to more from the Soulless Kings.

This is book 2 in the series, and I've got to say, I love the way it's going.

These guys don't hold back and aren't afraid to show they're 1%ers.

I was wary of Joker in the first book, and this carried on into this book. But once you know his story you understand so much about him. He's loyal to his family and trusts noone outside that family unit.

Black Bird is running for her life, and a chance meeting with one of the club women gives her a short reprieve, until she sets eyes on Joker. He knows she's lying and takes it upon himself to find out why.

It's a great story, with twists and turns all the way through.

This book was amazing. I am so glad I got a chance to read it. I could not put it down. Riley was a trained boxer with a stalker proud. Joker had a past and had learned noy to trust woman. Could Riley teach Joker that woman can be trusted. They fought to see if they could make it work. When riley goes missing joker because unglued. When he figures out the stalker is it was an awesome story. I loved getting to see Fender and all the the brothers. I love the books that Andi Rhodes writes. She puts her heart and and soul into her books. I highly recommend this book. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

This MC romance gives you all the feels and  twists and turns you could ask for and shows that sometimes your past experiences do not need to affect your future happiness. Andi Rhodes never disappoints when it comes to the Soulless Kings. Joker has been a rough, untrusting, behind the scenes character. I am so glad he got his own book and we could finally see what makes him the way he is and a strong woman like Riley to not only stand up to him, but to stand by his side.
This was one of my favorite love hate, slow burn, loyalty to the club, fast paced reads and I highly recommend it! This series just keeps getting better and better! Keep them coming Ladies!!  🔥

Wow!! Joker’s story was well worth the wait. As a fan of Fender, I’ve been waiting for Andi Rhodes to come back to the Soulless Kings MC world and she did not disappoint. This book was
phenomenal. Joker’s struggle with his past could hinder the future. Riley is a strong, independent woman but on the run. I am absolutely in love with Joker and his bad boy attitude and Riley’s take no crap attitude. The rage and emotion that Andi displays in this book can be felt from the first page to the very last. I cannot wait to see what is in the Soulless Kings future.

Joker is one of the more serious club members, and protective of the club, and Riley is this strong female who challenges him. Sure, she's running from a stalker, and isn't quite honest with everyone about why she's really there, but together they are a force. I loved that Riley was tough in her own right, and though she went to the club for her own safety, she could still fight her own fights.

I really enjoy these stories - the characters are complex, and tend to have some kind of trauma in their past, but with the help of the right person, they start to heal and move forward. The club is one giant family, who work together to help solve these problems that unexpectedly come their way.

Another great addition to the series, and I look forward to reading more about the other club members!

Joker & Riley - Finding peace and soulless together

In this entertaining page turner secrets come to light and their worlds explode. He doesn’t trust women but find solace in Riley and she’s running from an unknown and find peace with Joker and his family of Soulless Kings brothers. Riley and Joker take us on an emotional journey full of family, love, loyalty, heartache, loss, deceit and so much more. These two are each other’s salvation. It just takes them a little bit to figure that out for themselves.😉

Joker and Riley

An emotional angsty heart-wrenching ride that tugs at your heartstrings. Joker and Riley don’t exactly hit it off from the start but the closer they get the more they trust one another. Their banter is sinfully hilarious, their chemistry is off the charts but what actually drew me to them is the undeniable connection between them. All this chaos surrounding them and they find something neither of them expected. I enjoyed every single suspenseful moment of this book.

This was a great book that dealt with some darker issues that people may have or have had. It could be a trigger for some. It is well written and I was engrossed from the start. Joker is definitely not a man to mess with and you definitely have to be a tough woman to put up with him. He is really hott at least. I definitely recommend this book for people who are fans of the motorcycle club genre or anyone who wants a good love story.

I love Andi Rhodes’ writing. This series is no exception. Joker has some issues with women thanks to his Mother. So when Riley comes barreling in he obviously is totally against her. She has a stalker and is hiding out. Riley is a boxer following in her Dad’s footsteps. The way she gets through to Joker and helps him with his issues and the club helps with her stalker is worth reading. Won’t be disappointed.

This is a great second chance story, about two people who are damaged indifferent ,yet the same ways. There is anger, distrust, jealousy, and finally unconditional love between the main characters.
Joker and Riley had had messed up lives. They were both raised by single parents, but in different ways. This is why Joker, has problems with women and letting his guard down.
Together they break the cycle and the walls that surround their hearts, and they learn to let both love and lightness in.

I LOVED this book! Riley is a little bit of a twist on the female characters from what I’ve read. She is physically strong and able to defend herself, but mentally she is struggling hard. Then enters Joker into her life. As these two battle more and more, they begin to realize that they are each other’s missing piece. Together they are strong physically, but together they start to heal each other’s mental scars. Such a good book!
