wonderful, detailed, full-fledged overview of physics that would kindle the fascination and insight of readers to physics... it's roughly at or below level of the Theoretical Minimum by Dr. Susskind, roughly the same level as Theoretical Concepts of Physics by Dr. Malcolm Longair. Unstarred coz there's one claim I'm not sure about ('heat death of the universe has already happened')
