Blue Collar Romance #4

Just for a Moment

Rate this book
From author Kate Carley comes a blue collar, return to hometown romance with heat, heart and a happily ever after.
For Grace Holland, coming home to Oak Bend isn’t easy. The journey stirs up old memories, including the heartbreaking reason her family left town. But now that she’s inherited both her granddad’s old Victorian home and a World War II aircraft that he’d been working desperately to restore, Grace is ready to face down the demons of her past—if the people in Oak Bend will let her.
Aaron Beckett’s life is a balancing act. His aircraft mechanic business is booming and being a single parent of a young daughter keeps him on his toes. But when Gracie Jane Holland, granddaughter of his late friend, steps into his aircraft hangar, Aaron’s well-managed life soars out of control, and every free thought begins and ends with that beautiful blonde.
Even with plenty of excuses to avoid each other, sparks fly while they work together to restore an old fighter plane. And just for a moment, it feels as if they’ve found a deeper, more sustainable connection—until well-meaning half-truths threaten to tear them apart.
When her past and present collide, nothing can prepare Grace for the storm of hatred that pours down on her. Ruthless words leave her questioning whether staying in Oak Bend and putting her heart on the line is worth the pain. Can this small town ever be home again?
Escape to Oak Bend, where blue-collar hotties work hard and love even harder, especially when it comes to landing their happily ever after.

*ARC received from author in exchange for my honest review. *

This Blue Collar Romance series gets better and better with each book. Don't get me wrong I love a good story about a billionaire, or the playboy with daddies’ money but good stories about everyday heroes and the women they fall for are quickly becoming my kryptonite.

Grace Holland never expected to be back in Oak Bend but here she is, moving into the house that her grandfather left for her, starting fresh back in the town where she lost her sister. On top of inheriting all his possessions she has also inherited three planes that he has been working on for years. Along with those planes comes Aaron, her grandfather's friend and airplane mechanic who has been helping him restore the planes. Grace was not ready for all the feelings that came with their first meeting and with each meet those feelings become more intense. Can Grace let her guard down Just For A Moment and let Aaron in for good?

This was such a beautiful story about finding the home you never knew you were looking for even in the face of grief. Grace & Aaron were just the sweetest and I found that I didn't even mind the instalove because of how smooth the story flowed. The one thing I do wish there was more of was Grace interacting with Aaron's daughter Piper. There was so much room there for them to interact, but I get why that didn't happen.

Up next for me is book five in the Blue Collar Romance series and I am excited to see what hunky hero I get next and the babe that he falls for.

Find Beck.

Grace Holland has a specific list of things to do once she reaches Oak Bend, Michigan. She and her family moved away when she was a teen after her sister and two other girls was killed in a car accident on the train tracks. Grace's grandfather has left her his house and unbeknownst to her several airplanes. Aaron "Beck" Beckett is the airplane mechanic trying to restore her grandfather's WWII plane. He is also a single dad to Piper. The chemistry between the two is instant and hot.

I have really come to love visiting Oak Bend. I would love to visit Mickey's Diner and have the special. A trip to Gino's Pizza would also be high on the list along with Java by Jackie and the ice cream store.

I love that Aaron puts his daughter first in all things. It helps that Piper really likes Grace and wants her in their lives.

This was an excellent addition to the Blue Collar Romance series. I love the small town vibes. the well rounded characters, and the healing process of coming home again.

I look forward to reading the next book.

Thank you to the author for providing me with a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The heart takes more than a few jabs and comes back swinging. Just for a Moment is an emotional rollercoaster. Grace and Aaron take readers on a journey of bitterness, heartache and redemption with a courageousness of spirit that sticks in your heart. Carley breaks the heart in order to expose the soul. What a haunting concept.

5 Star Review of Just For A Moment (Blue Collar Romance #4) by Kate Carley
This may have been the first book I have read by Kate Carley but it most certainly won’t be my last. This was a well written, entertaining read that ticked the boxes for me. I love stories with single parents and add in that it’s in a small town and I was all in. It was great to be back in Oak Bend for Grace Holland and single dad Aaron Beckett’s story. After inheriting her grandfather’s house and a World War II plane he was restoring, Grace finds herself back in Oak Bend.
From the moment their eyes meet there is a spark of attraction which refuses to be ignored. As they come together to restore the plane their feelings deepen. However what happens when the past suddenly throws a spanner in their relationship? Will it tear them apart or bring them together?
I was fully invested in this story from the first chapter, I really liked both Grace and Aaron, the chemistry between them sizzled and I enjoyed watching them come together to confront the past and in doing so make a future that they deserved. I also loved the relationship Grace that developed with Aaron’s young daughter Piper, it melted my heart.
Just For A Moment was witty, emotional, romantic and a well written love story that I recommend.

After her grandfather died and left her his house, Grace moved from the city and back to Oak Bend, as she was left all his possessions too and they were going to take a while to sort and collate as he collected old WWII memorabilia. She was also told to collect a piece of paperwork from Beck from at local airfield.
What she wasn’t expecting was a man may be a few years older than herself, handsome with piercing green eye’s, and a single father too.
When Grace realizes just what she’s been left, Beck is the only one who can help fulfill her grandfathers dream.
As they get close feelings get involved, but everything doesn’t turn out as they would like, and the past keeps showing it’s ugly head, causing hurt feelings and rash decisions.
I really liked this novel. There was a good storyline and the characters were well developed and had lots of chemistry. I enjoyed the story very much and would definitely recommend it!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a steamy, poignant and sweet read. Carley has a way of tugging on your heartstrings one moment, and making you blush the next. Grace and Beck have instant chemistry from the moment they meet, and the sparks fly immediately. Grace is a relatable heroine, suffering under her family’s infamous history with the town and the devastating loss of her grandfather. Aaron Beckett is focus on fixing planes and raising his daughter as a single father. He and Grace bond over her grandfather’s planes, and their relationship follows naturally.

I really enjoyed this book. It was thoroughly researched and made you feel as though you were in the cockpit with Beck, or at the diner sipping drinks with Grace and Madalyn. I definitely recommend this book!

Another good read about normal every day people.

Grace moved back to Oak Bend after her grandfather died and left her his house and all his possessions. She was told to collect some paperwork from Beck at a local airfield.

What she wasn’t expecting was Beck to be a handsome man a few years older than her, and a single father at that.

Beck and Grace are drawn to each other and when she realises just what her grandfather had left her, she realises that Beck is the only one that can help fulfill her grandfathers dream. But things don’t always turn out as you want, and lies, the past and hurt feelings all build up and Grace makes a rash decision. Can Beck win her back or has Grace been hurt too much.

Grace and Aaron (Beck), a beautiful, touching story.
Grace is back to her old hometown after the loss of her grandfather, she meets Aaron and a beautiful love story is written.
Remembering those we love is never easy, but in such a beautiful way this book covers it extremely well.
Finding love and a new family, this is a fantastic read.
5 star read.

I am loving this Blue Collar Romance Series even during Covid. Book #4 is an ARC from the India Pen PR.
I’m not sure if Oak Bend in Michigan USA fictional town however everybody knows your name ask Madge at Gino’s. Complete with a little town square. Gracie Jane, comes to the one place of solace after her beloved Grandfather transitions on. I always thought that in all of the antiques an clothes Gracie would find out that her “Win” set her up an Allison Beck was the prize. Win’s prize an dream was to restore a “tiger cat” plane set against all odds with his standing appoint with his beloved friend Beck an Aircraft Technician who owned his own business. Beck is a beloved single parent who fell in love with Oak Bend an obviously falls in love with Gracie Jane. Gracie’s one friend in town is Madelyn Jane, we all need a Madelyn. Gracie realizes that her parents running from the past of losing there child Carolyn in a tragic car accident sent a trajectory path for Gracie. Having trust issues without honest communication, leads to disaster by a simple telephone call. While the truth could have been told by Beck despite leaving a path of broken hearts. We call that a lie of omission. This storyline was too short for me another characters could have been more explored as could the other members of the town. Fast paced, realistic an a solid love story. I enjoyed this novel.

Just For A moment revolves around Grace. She has just moved back home to the town where she grew up, after inheriting her grandfather Win’s house. But coming home isn’t an easy choice for her, as there is some serious baggage from the past attached to this town.

Along with her grandfather’s house, Grace also inherits her grandfather’s collection of old planes. And with the old planes comes Aaron, an aircraft mechanic and close friend of her grandfather.

Neither Grace nor Aaron like each to start with - both have little mini temper tantrums and decide the other is someone they will never like. But about 10 seconds into their second meeting that is forgotten and the attraction between the pair takes over. Things move pretty quickly between them from that point.

I enjoyed this story as I liked the way the romance between Aaron and Grace moved along. But I did get annoyed in parts by Grace. I thought she was a bit prone to excessive reactions, without enough time to fully understand her reasoning. She has a lot of things going on in her life, as well as a lot to deal with from her past. But when people from her past pop up & verbally attack her, we don’t really get much inside her head - she just reacts, which to me feels a little shallow. And it also left me without the opportunity to really connect with her the way I would have liked.

Aaron is a really likable character. He’s just plain nice! I also felt more drawn to his character than I did with Grace. And I really liked the way that he is when he's with his little daughter, too - their interactions definitely added opportunities for me to get to know him better.

This isn’t an overly long book, so it is easy to read in just a couple of sessions. I read most of it while sitting outdoors in a banana lounge, and found it to be just right for a lazy afternoon when I really didn’t want to have to put too much effort into my reading. It’s a fairly simple story, where the angst and drama don’t really build too much, so for me it was perfect relaxation reading material.

Thank you to author Kate Carley and The Indie Pen PR for sharing a copy of this ebook with me.

First, let me say that I have been enjoying the "Blue Collar Romance" series. This has been a great way me to get to know authors I have not read before. Kate Carley is one of those authors. This may have been my first book by Carley, but it will not be the last.
This was a clever story - one whose storyline I had not come across before. Aaron (H) owns Aaron's Aeronautics. Grace's (h) grandfather, Win, kept several planes there. Win has passed away and Grace must figure out what to do with her grandfather's beloved antique planes. Like many of you, I have read sports romance stories, business/boss romance stories, the best friend romance stories, etc., but I have never read one about old planes. Carley either knows a lot about the subject or she did some terrific research. The details that she used painted an easy picture of the inside of a plane and the mechanics used to fly them. That is no east feat! Another first for me, was the reason why Grace was afraid to come back to Oak Bend. No spoiler alert here, but I really appreciated the way Carley was able to create something new - a new kind of angst - one that she wrote beautifully. We all know mean people - people that can not, nor will not let go of the past. I could clearly see the way these people looked and acted by the way Carley wrote her characters.
Each of the "Blue Collar Romance" books can be read as a stand alone. It was fun to have a few of the characters from another of the books (A Place to Belong) pop up in a quick cameo. These books are fun with real people (no billionaires!) and relatable situations. I would definitely recommend "Just for a Moment" and look forward to the next installment of the "Blue Collar Romance" series.

Kate Carley delivers a sweet, heartfelt romance complete with a past tragedy, a woman’s return to her small town, friendship, and the steamy scenes she does so well.

Just For a Moment is book four in the Blue Collar Romance Series. Once again, I loved seeing Oak Bend, Michigan through Ms. Carley’s characters’ eyes. As a participating author, I have to say visiting Oak Bend in the rest of the books has been so fun!

A tragic event years before and the small-town hatred and blame that followed drove Grace Holland’s family from Oak Bend. Now Grace is going back to claim her inheritance—a house and a World War II aircraft her grandfather left her. From the beginning lines of the book, I loved Grace and totally identified with her anxiety about returning home. Aaron Beckett—Beck to his friends—the airplane mechanic who was helping Grace’s grandfather restore the aircraft, isn’t sure he trusts Grace. Beck considered Grace’s grandfather a friend, and he’s undecided about the woman who never returned to Oak Bend to visit the man.

However, their mutual attraction is instant and undeniable. Will the possibility of love, of a future with Beck, be enough to keep Grace in Oak Bend when old memories and old grudges threaten her happiness?

In addition to the love story between Grace and Beck and Ms. Carley’s stellar writing, I also loved the World War II aircraft and the work Beck did to restore it. I love history, particularly the WW II era, so this part of the story was very interesting for me! ~Tracy Broemmer, author of the contemporary romance series The H Books

Just For A Moment by Kate Carley is the fourth installment in the Blue Collar Romance Series. After the unexpected passing of her grandfather, Grace Holland reluctantly returns to Oak Bend to check on her inheritance. When she left Oak Bend as a teenager, her family was under a cloud of sorrow and loss. Her older sister died in a car wreck along with two other girls (twins). Her sister was driving and her death splintered Grace’s family and had an enormous impact on the community of Oak Bend. The first person Grace encounters in Oak is Aaron Beckett (Beck) a good friend to her grandfather (Win). He is a single parent and an aircraft mechanic; he worked closely with Win in maintaining and restoring collectible airplanes. Win has left three planes behind for Grace to handle; two of the planes are in good condition but Win’s most treasured plane is almost impossible to restore. Not wanting to hurt Grace, Beck does not disclose this information. As the pair become close, Beck finds it harder to tell her about the plane. When she does find out the truth from someone else, Grace is angered and no longer feels that she can trust Beck. In addition, some of the people of Oak Bend still harbor feelings of rage about the death of the girls in the car wreck from so long ago and point that rage in Grace’s direction. I enjoyed this story very much but felt that the secret of the plane was anticlimactic; Grace’s outrage was misplaced and over the top in relationship to the problem. Luckily, they were able to work the situation out and ended with their HEA.

This is book four in The Blue Collar Romance Series and it is Grace and Aaron's story and it is a must read. When Grace's grandfather does he leaves her his house and his possessions which include a world war II aircraft that her grandfather had been restoring in Oak Bend the place that holds some not so good memories for her but Grace is determined to finish restoring the aircraft to honour her grandfather. Aaron is a single dad to his daughter and also owns his own aircraft mechanics business where he had been helping his late friend to restore his aircraft and that has kept him so busy that he doesn't have time for anything else in his life. When Grace and Aaron meet sparks fly and the chemistry between them is so hot that you can feel it sizzling of the pages of this book and even though they try hard to avoid each other it is not always possible as they are working together to restore the aircraft. There are twists and turns along with hatred, lies, pain, sadness, hope and emotional situations and I couldn't put this book down as it was totally addictive and so well written. This is the first book that I have read by Kate Carley but definitely not the last as I enjoyed it so much and look forward to reading more of her books in the future.

4 Stars!

POV: Dual (3rd Person)
Tropes: Enemies-to-lovers, Single dad
Triggers: Death of relative

Likes: I love an enemies-to-lovers story, plus involving a single dad has to be a winner! Aaron is the complete package; super sweet and caring with his daughter, but then one hell of a dirty talker with Grace!

Dislikes: I wanted to shake Grace so many times! Also I tend to prefer 1st person POVs, as it helps me get into the characters minds easier.

Synopsis: Just For A Moment follows Grace who moves back to her hometown after she finds out she's inherited her grandfather's house and airplanes! She hasn't been back since the tragedy that struck the small town, the one which caused her family to leave and never return. But now she's back, she's determined to stick around and help fulfil her grandfather’s dying wish, to get his planes in the air! Unfortunately she knows nothing about planes, and the grumpy mechanic in town really does not seem keen on helping. Aaron only wants to be the best dad he can be, and definitely not get distracted by the pretty blonde who could leave town again at any point. Yet he can't seem to refuse her when she needs his help.

Will these two be able to form a truce and help accomplish Win's dream? Could it go even further than friendship? Or will Grace's past come back to haunt her?
A Sweet, yet sexy, low angst read!

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

I have not read anything from this author prior to this book. The author did a wonderful job in creating two characters that were believable and had some hot chemistry between them.

The author did place a prior couple in a scene which helped to make the "small town" work for me. The story was also written in my favorite dual POV format. Getting a glimpse into the characters' thoughts really me to connect with them and hopefully understand them the way the author intended.

Grace (Gracie Jane) inherits her grandfather's home upon his passing. She and her mother haven't been back to Oak Bend since her older sister died in an accident that killed two other girls. Grace not only inherited the house but her grandfather's 3 planes. A good friend of the grandfather is Aaron Beckett (Beck). Beck is the mechanic that has been helping in the restoration of the planes. Beck is a single father of an adorable young girl (Piper) who was a delightful addition to the story.

These two characters have some hurdles that they have to get through. Can these two overcome them? Well you will have to read the book. You don't have to read the prior ones to fully understand and enjoy this one.

I will say that I would only recommend this to someone over the age of 18 because of language and a few intimate scenes.

::: SPOILER-FREE REVIEW :::

Rating: 4 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐

What can I say except I've been waiting for this book a long time and it didn't disappoint.

This series keeps getting better with each book. These books are all standalones about different characters. I find myself swooning while reading... there is something magical about reading good stories about everyday men and the women they fall for.

This new-to-me author gave me a real feel good book. I loved it. If I didn’t already know that good guys exist (though they do seem to be rare, right?), this book would be enough to convince me. 💙

The story follows Grace. She never expected to go back to Oak Bend. Now she is moving into the house her grandfather left her. She inherited all of his possessions along with three planes.

Aaron is her grandfather's friend and airplane mechanic. He has been helping him restore the planes.

If you love sweet, caring, yet sexy heroes, great heroines, and almost non-existent drama, then this book is perfect for you.

I loved every single bit of Just for a Moment, and wouldn't have changed even a comma.

I highly recommend this one!

My goodness, I am a bit of an emotional mess after that ending!!! While this point of view is not my favorite to read, I still loved this one so much!

I don’t really want to reflect on each character because they are just mind blowing and extremely intoxicating to witness, the entire story itself was incredible. The pain and sadness that just oozed from everyone about all the circumstances was just crazy to witness. I felt the choked up moments thinking about a loved one, the moments where passion took control of the situation and where anger and sadness just consumed you to scream at another person. So many REAL emotions and REAL moments that have happened for me personally and could happen.

This book is apart of a series that I love but alone it is one of the most epic books I’ve read. Real life problems that most don’t talk about because it’s not polite; this book needs to be read by everyone. Don’t put your life on hold, live every moment with hope! 😭😭😭 So good!! Thank you for letting me read this book!!

What a novel idea for a book.
Aaron and Grace are caught up in a situation that pushes them to work together to rehabilitate a WWII Tigercat airplane. Aaron has already helped her grandfather work on a couple of other planes. They were close friends. Grace isn't sure that she can handle working that close to Aaron. It's partly because of that electrical sizzle that pops when they get close enough to touch.
For anyone involved in building planes or flying them, this should be a fun read. Likewise, anyone interested in WWII memorabilia should be thrilled at the chance to ramble through the museum-like collection of goodies Grace inherited from her grandfather.
There's a sweet romance, obviously, for Grace and Aaron as well as a lovely relationship with Aaron's daughter. Some of the mean girls from Grace's younger days are determined to ruin her life by throwing the past up in her face. It's enough to make you wish retroactive birth control was possible to eradicate them from this lovely small town.

Just For a Moment is a quick small town love story between Aaron Beckett and Grace Holland. A tragic accident forces the Holland family to leave their small town of Oak Bend. Many years have passed and Grace is forced to return home to deal with her grandfather’s death. Aaron has spent his time working with Grace’s grandad restoring planes. They have developed a good relationship and once Win, the grandad dies, Aaron job is to help Grace with her grandad’s planes. However, this small town has never forgotten what happened with the Hollands or the accident that took the lives of 3 girls.
This book was okay. I liked Grace and Aaron together. I didn’t quite get why Aaron kept the info about one of the planes from Grace or why she became so upset when she found out through someone else. It really wasn’t that big of a deal like the characters made it. The chemistry was great and they deserved their happiness. Overall if you are looking for a sweet, quick read, then Just For a Moment is the one for you.

Grace is back to her hometown after the death of her beloved grandfather, intent on keeping his memory alive. Not everyone welcomes her back. While dealing with all that Win left behind, she meets his good friend, single dad and airplane mechanic Aaron. The chemistry between these two is undeniable, and things get really hot and steamy. There are so many wonderful things in this book... The great relationship that Aaron has with his ex-wife's parents... Grace and her three-reasons lists (I swear, she can talk herself into or out of anything!)... Piper, Aaron's daughter, too smart for her own good, totally adorable and hilarious... Gracie Jane's best friend, Madalyn Jane, who helps Grace keep it together even when her relationship with Cody falls apart... Grace and Aaron are real and flawed, making mistakes in life and in their relationship. This is the next installment in the Blue Collar Romance series, and holy cow - it's a great one, my favorite so far in the series. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author, and this is my honest review.

This Arc has been given to me in exchange for a honest review.

3.5 stars.

Things I loved the most apart from the romance:

The realism when it comes to small cities when people know everyone. It gave me painful flashbacks of my own city and how people couldn't even respect the privacy of others.

The TALK about a child growing up without one of their parents. I savored the passage where Aaron and Grace talked about being left as a child and how it will impact the child. Too many people try to find something positiveto say about a situation, but it doesn't matter because a child shouldn't have to live with one of their parents not wanting them at all.

The child, Piper. I love stories with kids because they have no filters and they do whatever they want. It's so refreshing. Also, the parenting in this book is top tier. No gender stereotypes and Aaron really tries his best to educate her and let her discover and make her own mistakes.

The main problems I had with this book:

The last 2-3 chapters felt rushed. The drama at the end (Grace found out about Tigercat and Aaron's lie) was kind of blown out of proportion, especially Grace's reaction.

What a wonderful series this is! This is the fourth Blue Collar Romance and my first experience with reading something by this author. In fact, each book in this series is written by a different author, which were all new to me and I ended up with a whole new list of authors to follow. I've enjoyed all the books so far, and this one also did not disappoint. This was such a beautiful story between Grace and Aaron. Loss and grief brought Grace to Oak Bend and she never expected to meet someone like Aaron, much less fall in love. They were so perfect for each and just really clicked, and their chemistry was undeniable. This sweet love story just had me completely engrossed and I couldn't put it down. Full of emotion and depth, the story will pull at your heartstrings and at the same time melt your heart. I enjoyed watching Grace and Aaron's relationship come together, and I really loved them as a couple. Truly a wonderful story and a great addition to the series!

Part of the Blue Collar Romance series, this book is a likable and clever romance between Grace, who returns to her hometown after her grandfather dies, and Aaron (Beck), the local airplane mechanic. He married a local girl, who left him with their baby girl, Piper, and hasn't been seen since. Piper is now seven and an excellent addition to the story. Piper figures out that there is an attraction between the two and wants Grace in their lives. Things go back and forth with misunderstandings and Grace's guilt over a dreadful accident years ago. There is a side story about WWII aircraft, which adds interest and more conflict. Grace is overly sensitive about everything Beck does, but they love each other intensely. They finally admit their need and love, and all is well. In the Epilogue, Aaron Beckett flies the old plane in honor of her grandfather. Very well-written, beautiful characters. Just a little too short--I would have liked more exposition of the couple getting to know each other better.

While this was a sweet story about everyday people, it wasn't my favorite. It was a very quick, easy read but I think that was part of the problem. The story was so accelerated at some points it felt like parts were missing. For example, we were introduced to her mom, but she disappeared and never returned. Then she is confronted by two different people at different times in regards to her sister's accident but it's just left. We don't even really get into what happened in the past other than it's mentioned and again left to our imagination. Some of those details I think would've helped bring the story together a little better.

Overall, I think that Beck and Grace were good for each other. They have immediate chemistry. Piper was a good addition. This is very much an instant-love story.

Grace plans to move back to Oak Bend permanently after inheriting her granddad's home and WW2 memorabilia collection. When she meets Beck on her first day back in town, sparks fly. He was a good friend of her granddad's, and instalove happens. When repeatedly confronted by the unhappy memories that drove her parents and her out of town years ago, her instinct is to flee, but when push comes to shove, she decides her new relationship is worth fighting for, and maybe she can make her late granddad's dreams come true after all.
This is a well-crafted love story. The chemistry between the main characters is off the charts hot, and the characters, including the Hero's daughter are relatable. The back story of Beck and his daughter makes their HEA that much sweeter. Definitely worth the one click.

I received an advance review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I really have enjoyed this Blue Collar Romance series because of the fact that I get to discover a bunch of new authors. Just For A Moment follows Grace & Aaron. He's a single father along with keeping up with his aircraft mechanic business which is booming by the way. Grace hasn't been home for a long time, but now that her grandad is gone & left her the house plus his pride & joy World War II aircraft. I felt bad for Grace because of the fact that the people of Oak Bend won't let her forget her past, and it's not a pretty one either so it's going to be emotional for her & it was for me as well. Now, while I loved the premise for this story, I didn't love the immaturity that these two showed more than once, and it got on my very last nerve but this is only my opinion at the end of the day. I would certainly hope that you decide for yourselves by hitting those one click buttons because I tend to march to the beat of my own drum these days LOL! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The Blue Collar Romance Series is a collection of 8 novels featuring blue collar hard workers, cozy towns, and happy ever afters. Wonderful stories by different authors, yet similar blue collar love vibes.

In Just for a Moment by Kate Carley, Grace returns to Oak Bend to receive her grandfather’s inheritance from Aaron, her grandfather’s friend. Aaron is nothing like what she imagined and much younger than she had expected. When Grace realizes her grandfather’s dreams through his final letter to her and needs Aaron’s help, they start to work together and sparks fly.

This books explores the complicated past that Grace ran away from. Aaron and Grace’s HEA has some complicated obstacles that were very realistic and I thought Kate did a great job writing on how complicated past baggage really impacts the present romantic relationship. Highly recommend…I enjoy reading this page-turner!
