Restaurant owner and bajillionaire Miguel Santiago literally tops the list of Boston’s Most Notorious Bachelors. He’s also handsome as sin, a world-class a*hole, and thanks to the fickle real estate gods? My new neighbor.

When my BFFs and I opened Yogasm right next to his restaurant, we had no idea he wanted the space. Nothing personal, big guy.

Now that we’re here, we’re not leaving, no matter what kind of Epic Playboy Tantrum he throws. The best way to handle a bully is to ignore them, right? So that’s exactly what I plan to do.

His smoldery dark eyes? Pfft. I barely notice them.
His broad, muscled shoulders? Samesies.
The way he smiles that slow, crooked smile like he wants to show me exactly how he earned that spot on the Notorious List? So. Super. Ignorable.

But when his feisty little niece comes to me for help locating her mother… well, that’s the kind of thing a girl like me can’t ignore, even if it forces me to get right up close and way-too-personal with the force of nature next door.

If Mr. Notorious wants a battle of the wills, he’d better buckle up, because this girl plays to win…

The blurb was very interesting but the execution failed.
It’s a rom com story, the romance was not convincing and the comedy was overdone.
The dialogues felt forced to be funny, reaching to the point of being foolish.
Not only I couldn’t connect with the characters, but I couldn’t see any connection between them as well. Dnf @ 71%.

DNF ~ I don't even know.
I didn't like this. It was supposed to be a rom-com but it wasn't funny at all, or at least not my type of humor.

I really enjoyed this story!! We meet Miguel a self mad billionaire who has been well a jackass and has a bad image to the media but now hes lost the building next door to expand and he is now in charge of a child who has a mouth on her and is very sassy and rude (I LOVE TONIA) and she's the reason he meets Samantha one of the new owners that own a yoga/smoothie shop.. but he learns that sorta a front for there bussiness of sorta a PI and his niece wants there help to find her mom.

As for Sam shes crushing on Miguel but she keeps that wall up of sass since he is a big time jerk and the banter between them is so good it wasn't hate it was more playful snark. The more time they spend together the more they fall in love.. I love that when the misunderstanding happened they talked it out and didn't wait weeks.

There was one thing I disliked I hated that the friends told Miguel she was a virgin.. that should have been her news to tell.. not theres.. up next is Madison and Miguel cousin.. and im not a big fan so far of the cousin.

No ow/om drama (unless you count that 2.5 second of a woman) no cheating, Drama, slight secondary character, sexy times, virgin gal no manwhore

YOU’RE THE BEAUTY TO HIS BEAST

Thank you, Ms. Jane Henry, for an amazingly delightful tale. I absolutely loved it; the characters and the interactions were charming, and the romance sizzling. I laughed out loud so many times at the humor that makes up Sam.

Three friends, Samantha, Madison, and Allie, have been planning a business and searching for the perfect location that would also be affordable. Allie finds the site, formerly a family-owned bakery, and the owner wants to see another business there. Yogasm will offer yoga, smoothies and non-GMO cookies!

“We told the Universe we needed a space. And the Universe has delivered.”

Miguel Santiago is known as Boston’s most notorious bachelor—and also owns a restaurant. He wants the property next door for expansion. The last thing he wants is so fru-fru boutique moving in and orders his cousin, Raul, to prevent it from happening. Then, out of the blue, he gets a call for custody of his niece, Toni—a child he did not know of.

“I’m not usually one who ends up in situations outside my control, but here I am, escorting the quirkiest woman I’ve met up to my home, with a dog and a child in tow. God, I need her help, though.”

The story’s plot will have a new business going in next to a well-established restaurant. It will have three friends running Yogasm together, and also they are known for their private detective cases. When Miguel is surprised with the custody of a niece, he doesn’t know how to take care of a child; he runs his businesses successfully. When Toni approaches Sam asking for help to find her mother, Miguel realizes there is more to her than he knew. She and the girls start piecing together bits and pieces of the story—and it isn’t a pretty tale. Sam and Miguel are brought together by Toni and helping her. What neither one of these ever expected to happen was to develop feelings for each other—but they have a way of carrying on conversations full of double entendre—and eventually, it leads to more.

Sam: “I don’t recall giving you permission to boss me around.
Miguel: “You gave me permission to boss you around by stepping foot into my house. Your words, remember? His house, his rules.”
Sam: “And what, pray tell, would you do to a girl who broke your rules.”
Miguel: “I’m sorry to say, but I’d have to punish her.”

The story has the good, the bad, and the ugly of people. Sam is this quirky, vivacious person, quick-witted, and intelligent. She isn’t afraid to challenge Miguel, debate with him, and even fall for the man. He has his good and bad qualities, but she sees something that very few do—the man he keeps hidden. When it comes to Toni, there is no proof she is his niece, except his brother is listed as the father—but he steps up and cares for her—with Sam’s assistance. He is protective, dominating, and while he had plans—plans can change, and Sam and Toni are changing his dreams—and his future.

“That—dominant way you have, I like it. Not too overbearing, but—just enough. I’m like Goldilocks, and you’re the bear. Not too hard. Not too soft. You’re just right.”

The story is a bit mysterious suspense, with titillating debates, challenges, and romance. The story does have some playful spanking and sizzling hot sex scenes. But more than that, it is the interaction and relationship between the characters that made this a page-turning tale. Sam and Miguel are a couple you love seeing find each other and in doing so, they compliment each other. Maybe opposites do attract and can even find their happily ever after.

“Sometimes, it isn’t until we’re on the cusp of losing something monumental that we realize how much something—or someone means to us.”

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧 An Enjoyable Delight!

Yogasm
A Romantic Comedy
By: Jane Henry
Narrated by: Gunnar Qualen, Jenna St. Claire

This is an enjoyable romantic comedy, the story is original with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. Jane Henry is a gifted author, it is great to see another side of her creative mind as lightens things up from her usual dark romance with her first RomCom and she nails it by delivering the perfect balance of drama, humor, heartfelt emotions and some steamy romance. Miguel Santiago is a successful business owner and one of Boston’s most notorious bachelors. He was looking to expand his restaurant and when the owner of the adjoining store decided to retire, he offered to buy the place. Except the owner went with another buyer. Samantha, Allie and Madison needed a store front to cover what they really do, detective work. Their store Yogasm will offer healthy smoothies and cookies and have yoga classes too. Miguel is not happy about this and plans on taking them down. But a guardianship of a seven-year-old girl, Antonia, changes everything, he has met his match in that girl and in Samantha Graboski who Antonia ran to for help find her mother. There is never a dull moment in this fast paced and wonderfully plotted story, it is entertaining with loads of laughs and witty dialogue.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Jane Henry cast the perfect narrators to bring her characters and story to life. Gunnar Qualen and Janna St. Claire are talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that fit their character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable in every role they played and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Gunnar Qualen plays Miguel Santiago with perfection, Jenna St. Claire did the same for Samantha, as well as Antonia. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters too. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. They set the perfect tone for the story, handled the witty dialogue with ease and landed the humor flawlessly, without missing a beat. These entertaining storytellers make a great team, their duet performance enhances an already great story to another level of greatness. Thank you for another amazing listen, it is always a pleasure to listen to your audiobooks.

Story: I enjoyed this story. There were some very steamy scenes and a some mystery with the case that needed to be solved. I really loved the little girl Toni. She was funny. Sam annoyed me a bit with her infatuation with Miguel from the first minute. She just couldn't stay focused on anything because of that. Yet, in some other ways she seemed a bit more mature. Overall, it was a pretty good story.

Narration: The narration was amazing.

I absolutely adored this book! This is Jane Henry's first Rom Com, and I can't wait for her next one! It's a step away from the mafia/Dom books of Jane's that brought me to her but still has just a bit of spice still added in. I really enjoyed the lighthearted story of Samantha and Miguel, and Miguel's niece Toni. I'm looking forward to seeing where Jane takes the series next!

Yogasm is a wonderfully fun and hilarious story by Jane Henry. Samantha and her two friends just opened up their very own story front of goodies and the very serious guy next door that owns a restaurant next door is less than happy.

Miguel is the total opposite of Samantha. She is fun, feisty, and takes nothing serious unless it is her friends and her job. Miguel takes everything seriously and needs a little of Samantha's light in his life. When Miguel's niece decides that she needs Samantha's help, Miguel doesn't find it funny at all. And over time Samantha finds herself in part of every aspect of Miguel's life.

While Samantha is fixing Miguel's life he just might be making a mess of hers. But the relationship that they are building just might fix everything. These two were literally made for each other. I loved the back and forth they have and the secondary characters bring everything together.

Yogasm is a great book and one I will be rereading in the future.

'What a brilliant prick the man story is.'

This is definitely a romantic comedy that will melt your heart whilst making you laugh throughtout!

'I go to bed myself, but the whole time I'm worried about the little girl sleeping on my couch. This isn't right. She should be safely tucked in bed up here, where I can defend her if anything goes wrong. I've never worried about burglars until tonight.
So I end up taking my blanket, dragging it downstairs, then sleeping fitfully on the armchair across from Toni.'

Saw a teaser for this in my emails and was immediately drawn to the book, and then won an e-arc of it, which I'm so glad I did, because I loved it!

This was such a fun, light-hearted read, even though the main topic of the book was actually quite sad lol. Sam and her friends open up their new yoga/smoothie/secret PI store next door to hot billionaire Miguel Santiago's restaurant, who is not amused about the fact in the slightest and wants them gone. "Already" I say, throwing my hands up. "He hasn't even seen how neurotic we are yet." He sets about making it his mission to get rid of them by any means possible just as a neice he never knew about lands on his doorstep, now under his care as her mother is presumed dead.

Okay, so there were definitely plot holes and areas that needed more explaining in this but honestly, I didn't even really care that much, as this was a rom-com and didn't need to be that deep lol. So even though certain situations were a little unrealistic, it still flowed well and I absolutely adored all the characters in this. The interactions between them were fun and there was great chemistry and banter throughout, alongside plenty of moments that melted my heart at the cuteness.

Miguel and Sam had great flirty chemistry and some of the internal thoughts/conversations Sam has with her friends were so stereotypical in regards to the women's reactions, but it was so true loool! 'Excuse me, but we don't need Mr. Guy-Next-Door to swoop in and save us. Still, that was kinda hot.' Miguel's reaction to the 'fru-fru' drinks made me laugh too. Both of them technically shouldn't like each other, given Miguel wants them out, but he can't seem to resist the unsuspecting PI. Using Antonia, his neice, as an excuse, he keeps finding ways to be around Sam. I loved their steamy scenes too and even though the pair were kinkier than I expected, they were still really fun scenes to read.

"Oh, baby," he says, giving my ass cheek another squeeze. "Where have you been all my life?"
Such an overused pick-up line, but yum.
"So, um, probably in grade school. How old are you, anyway?"

Toni was an amazing addition to this book too! I absolutely loved her as she was so funny and cute and probably stole the show for me lool. "Not sure what to do with me now, huh?" Toni asks. Whilst Toni is an intelligent child who's gotten used to being more independent than most 7 years olds, it's easy to see she's still just a little girl who wants her mum back and even though I laughed my way through this book, my heart broke for her. However, her and Miguel together were literally swoon-worthy... guys, the man watched a 'Youtube How To:' so he could braid her hair. (I'm not crying, you are!)

Seeing Miguel struggle with how to look after her was hilarious, and hit the nail on the head for billionaire bachelor babysitting perfectly. I couldn't stop laughing at them together. "What do you watch. Sesame Street or something?" She squinches up her nose. "I'm not four." Right. Jesus. And it was sooo adorable to see Miguel begin to care for her more and more, whilst becoming more responsible. 'Toni pouts, I sigh, and five minutes later, Prince is on my lap and we're all heading to his place. Miguel is predictably, scowling and silently fuming.'

Overall, regardless of the lack of depth into Miguel and Sam's backgrounds, this was a five star read for me. I normally read dark/mafia romances but this was the perfect, light-hearted book to read as a palette cleanser with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments and flirty tension between Miguel and Sam. Hoping we get to see more of these characters, especially as it seemed like Raul and Maddison definitely had a story coming soon.

My first read of this author.
This turned out to be different from what I thought this book was about.

Miguel Santiago wants the space Yogasm occupies. I thought this was going to be an all-out war. Harsh words, arguments, and sneaky underhanded stuff. I’m surprised to say none of that stuff happened.

It could of been a hate/love relationship but because they charmed the pants off each other it turned into something so much different and better.

Life has thrown a wrench into Miguel’s life, his idiot brother has had a child, she, unfortunately, has been abandoned and as next of kin, he has inherited a niece, Antonia.

The feisty niece goes to Samantha for help in finding her mother, Samantha does freelance detective work. This is where things get interesting.

Miguel and Samantha in their common goal of finding Toni’s mother discover they like each other. They have great chemistry, she’s an adorable dork and he’s described as a prick but I’m glad he’s more than a grumpy dick with a big bank account.
He’s actually a sweetheart.

I liked this read, it was so different from what I thought it was going to be.
Toni is absolutely adorable and she bonds well with Miguel and Samantha.
Miguel and Samantha are great together.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "YOGASM" This is such a different story from Jane Henry I absolutely loved it so many laugh out loud moments, hot steamy scenes, its grabs you from start to finish.
Three close BF'S more like sisters Samantha, Madison & Allie look for perfect location to open their new Yoga Boutique called "YOGASM" Allie found a place that use be a family owned bakery he wants to see a new business in their with nice people.
Miguel Santiago Boston's notorious billionaire bachelor doesn't want a fru-fru boutique next to his restaurant tells Raul his cousin to find a way to get them out he wants to expand & wants their space.
Winnie helps with his PR to improve his reputation cause it took a hit, then he gets a child dropped off at his door apparently he's next of kin because his dead beat brother Riccardo took off & Antonia aka Toni's mother Michelle Soto is missing.
Toni shows up at Yogasm she ran off everyone looking for her she ran off three nanny's already comes to see Samantha to hire her to find her mother Miguel finds her there not happy to be in the place but samples their smoothies & he's hooked.
Miguel first night with Toni doesn't know what to do with her so he contacts Sam because she had a connection with her she comes over with her dog Prince who knows that's Toni needs a comfort.
Miguel has Sam help with Toni a few times they get close he likes her alot her quirky sayings down to earth personality he can be himself with her she brings out his heart.
Miguel & Sam spending time with Toni their feelings develope she's his Beauty to his Beast the things she say so many laugh out loud moments you'll love these two together.
I definitely recommend to this absolutely delightful book it won't disappoint so well worth the read I hope Madison & Allie get their own story I'd like to read more about Miguel & Sam's in the future loved the guys their characters were so awesome.

Light, cute, quirky, funny- these are only some of the words that came to mind to describe this book. It’s the perfect book to read at the beach on a hot summer day. ☀️

I was super excited to get my hands on this one as I love Jane Henry and this is her first Rom-Com. Colour me Curious 🐈‍⬛

I loved Samantha- she was a real girl, all frizzy hair, glasses and a habit of asking difficult or intellectual questions most people probably wouldn’t want to answer, usually at the most random times. I loved the dynamic trio she made with her besties and that they are driven enough to smoothly run two businesses together.
I enjoyed Miguel’s character too. Yes he was arrogant and bossy but he was also fun and always seemed more amused than annoyed to Sams also bossy nature, willing to go along with her, play her little games until he’s ready to take over.
I loved how he became Toni’s fiercest and loyal protector almost instantly and then fought for her instead of just thinking of her as his brothers problem. 😍

Also I want to say it was pleasantly refreshing that when things almost could have fallen apart they discussed it like adults and it was worked out in like a page instead of half the book being biased off a misunderstanding 🙌
“You had every right to be angry with me. But I’m glad you talked with me. How many wars could’ve been avoided if people just talked sh*t out?”  “Perhaps… all of them?”  “Perhaps.”
☝️that right there is some real sh*t 💯

Yogasm
By Jane Henry
Narrated by Jenna St Claire and Gunnar Qualen

Light, funny and romantic, Jane Henry shows her versatility by giving us this treat! This story definitely is a change from her dark, romantic suspense and shows just how talented she is! Meet Samantha. With two of her friends she is opening Yogasm, a smoothie shop with a twist. Next door is a restaurant owned by Miguel Santiago, and he isn’t happy. Life is not treating him right. Recently granted guardianship of his niece, Antonia, his hands are full. And now the space he wants is rented by a smoothie shop! Determined to get it, he makes his way over, but when he meets Samantha, everything changes. Plus Antonia has hired Sam to help her find her mother. Exciting, sensual, sweet, witty banter, this story has it all. A great weekend or beach read, you too will love this one!

Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St. Claire bring this gem to life! I love this team, and together, with their amazing voices and comedic timing, the story is hours of enjoyment. Qualen is strong, yet sweet as Miguel. St Claire is compassionate, and loving as Samantha, and her voice as Toni is fantastic! It’s an easy, enjoyable time and I loved it.

I’m a big fan of Ms. Henry.
I’ve read many of her books that lean to the mob/darker side.
So when I found out she was writing a romcom I was intrigued.
Omg she blew me away.
I loved every bit of this story!
I chuckled a lot and had many laugh at loud moments.
I loved all the characters.
Samantha and her friends, Madison and Allie are endearing.
And a great bunch who I’d love to have as friends.
Miguel the ahole that you can’t help but love.
And little Antonia who brings the group together.
Sam is such a quirky sassy lady.
She’s so laid back and easy going.
But isn’t anyone’s doormat.
I adorned her.
Miguel the self centered millionaire.
His confidence borders on arrogant and cocky.
His dominance is front and present and is felt by everyone and even Prince the shih tzu lol 😝
Who always gets what he wants.
Until his seven year old niece Antonia suddenly becomes his ward.
And the property he had his eye on that’s next to his restaurant is sold to Sam and her friends.
From here life as he knows it will cease to exist 😂
This book was an absolute delight to read.
Funny and sexy.
And wonderful characters

In the midst of her amazing stories about Maffia and submission, Jane Henry hits us with this light hearted fun new romance, and I’m living for it!

I have to admit, the start was a little off for me, it didn’t immediately grab me and I had to tell myself to keep reading just out of faith for Jane’s writing and I’m glad I did. Because once I got past the first part, I couldn’t put the book down.

This story didn’t quite pan out the way I initially expected. Instead of a lot of back and forth between love and hate, there was funny and witty banter, a mutual love and protection for Toni and a little hint of drama and mystery sprinkled in.

Sam was sassy, real and she had a great relationship with her friends, which we love to see.

Miguel, while incredibly arrogant and a bit of a jerk, definitely grew on me quickly and even more so than him, I loved Toni!

I loved the direction Jane has gone into with this book, and while I’m still obsessed with her darker maffia stories, I hope she continues these types of books as well.

Loved this book so much. Samantha and her friends are opening up a cute little spot filled with yoga, juice bar, and snacks, but it's not their real passion. Their real passion is helping others. Jane Henry’s Yogasm was such a fun read. From the beginning, the characters are instantly likeable. The premise is slightly out there, but it just makes the story that much better. There’s a lot going on with all the different characters AND the bit of mystery. Likes: the way the different characters play off each other was funny and I’m fairly sure I want to try their smoothies. The story moves at a fast pace and there’s a lot going on but Ms. Henry makes it easy to follow and I relished every page tap. And do I really need to point out the chemistry between Miguel and Sam? Because if there’s one thing Ms. Henry does really well and that’s character chemistry. If you’re in the mood for something fun and whimsical that has a heavy dose of romance, then grab your copy. It’s pure entertainment.

Henry

Let me just off with, wow Jane writes RomComs brilliantly too!

I was snickering tons throughout the listening of this book. And loved the bantering between all of them. Especially the little pipsqueak Toni who was full of sassy mischievousness for such a youngster, and was a little go-getter and wasn’t afraid to go after what she wanted.

The writing has humour but also dealt with some really serious issues too which is how I pictured Jane tackling this genre.

The narration was superb. Jenna’s voice of Toni made me smile a lot! The natural teasing and loving banter between GQ and Jenna really shines in this audiobook and made the book so very enjoyable.

The real life issues that Sam and Miguel talk about as they got to know each other was a huge eye opener for peeking into Jane’s feelings on a whole wide series of topics that had me going… Wow and Yes!!!

Jane Henry changed things up with a little rom-com and I am here for it!!!!!!!

Samantha and her besties open up Yogasm...yoga and smoothies and private investigations, how cool is that! These girls are hilarious and loyal to the core. But when they open up shop, their neighbor isn't too happy.

Miguel is handsome, rich and owns the restaurant...right next to Yogasm. He wanted the storefront, not new neighbors. To make matters a little more interesting, into his lap drops a fiesty niece he knew nothing about.

Samantha is amazeballs!!!! She's smart, hilarious and she NEVER backs down when it comes to Miguel (absolutely LOVE that about her). Miguel was a tough guys, until Samantha and Tori melted that frozen heart of his. And in between the sheets....HOTTIE McHOTTERSON!

I can't wait to read more rom-com from Jane, she did phenomenal!

Who are Sam, Madison, and Allie? I laughed when I saw the reason behind the name of the book! Who are Miguel, Raul, and Winnie? What do each of these people do for a living? What 'surprise' was just 'sprung' on Miguel? I like Toni! Very precocious! Not afraid of anything or anyone it seems like. I am having a hard time deciding what is funnier, Sam's internal dialogue or her intentions with Miguel!!! Who are Ricardo and Michelle? How are they involved in what is happening? What happens when Sam and Miguel go to Cape Cod? You need to see what happens when Raul sets things in motion and Miguel changed his mind! Read and enjoy the story!

If you like rom-coms and hot, spicy summer reads, this is the book for you. Samantha and her 2 best friends Madison, and Allie open a yoga/healthy foods studio in a storefront (but also a budding detective agency) wanted by the owner of the adjacent restaurant Miguel Santiago. He is Boston's most BB bachelor and always gets what he wants. Between a bad first contact with the "Yogasm" owners and suddenly finding himself with a niece to raise, he needs help with them both. The help for the niece comes from Sam, as a part-time nanny, but also his niece Toni asks for her detective skills to find her mother. Things get steamy between Sam & Miguel, drama, twist, more steam, and some surprises along the way. Well written characters, well paced story, and plenty of steamy fun. Great read.
I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

Totally loved this new genre for Ms. Henry, it's totally a great read. Laugh out loud moments, steamy moments, cringe moments, this book has is all. Migel and Samantha, enemies at first, but he wins her over right from the start. The three ladies are a hoot, with the up and coming business, pops that look like something they should not, crewneck sweaters, mischievous and overly smart nieces, bowl of nuts, pizza, exercising at the crack of dawn, pillow fights and cheerleading actions. A very, very enjoyable read. Loved the proposal. I hope there is another book in this series.

I loved this book so much. A super fun storyline, humor, emotions, heat, cuteness, drama, suspense, action and a bit of kink combine with heart stealing characters to create a book that has no problem delivering the swoon, the laughs and the feels. Spunky and sassy Sam plus broody and hunky Miguel made an impossible to resist pair. Add in plenty of sparks, banter and steam and the sweetest duo of adorable scene-stealers you could ever ask for and you have yourself an effervescent romance that was a pure delight. I am posting an unbiased and unsolicited review.

What do three friends, a grumpy restaurant owner, a tiny fluffy dog and a precocious child have in common? Yogasm! Antonia hires Samantha to look for her mother. Along the way, Samantha discovers that the handsome but gruff Miguel is more than his reputation. But will he bend enough to match her more open personality? Will the newest addition to his life charm her way into finding a forever home? Will Samantha's heart encompass all the quirks and quarks that are thrown her way? A funny, more lighthearted read.

Yogasm by Jane Henry is a new series by this very talented author. Her previous books tend to be gritty, lots of mafia action and of course spankings. Yogasm was light, fun and romantic. Oh, and some light fun spankings. Super sexy handsome grumpy billionaire meets up with a quirky, cute and funny PI with an adorable dog. We did get a little suspenseful action and a HEA. Fun, fun and fun. Kudos!
