Celebrate the holidays with Isaac and David! This short story was first published in the Wish Come True charity anthology last year, and now it's available as a standalone. Taking place after book three, A Way Home, Isaac and David are still getting used to life in the outside world, and this is their first Christmas together as a couple. Join them as they discover Santa, decorations, and the magic of the season. Especially mistletoe. :D

This was the icing on the (Christmas) cake! I loved revisiting David and Isaac a few months down the line after the events of book 3.

This is David and Isaac's first 'English' Christmas, and all in all, we find them a lot more settled. They talked through their problems and have adjusted accordingly - both compromising a bit and finding a good balance. I felt that they had moved on again, not only personally, but also as a couple.
They are clearly ready for the next step: their own home. But unfortunately property is rather expensive in San Francisco, and it looks like they will have to be patient a little bit longer. The same goes for their other big wish - a bed of their own. One that accommodates all their newly developing preferences .... (and you may have noticed that I have tried really hard not to give anything away here... *g*). I have no idea how Keira Andrews does it, but their love making is dirty and innocent at the same time. Does that sound weird? All I can say is that it works beautifully!

This is a must of you have read the series. It feels like an extra long epilogue. One that'll really warm your heart... Loved it!

Highly recommended.

All the (happy, JOYFUL) feels for this story!

Such a lovely Christmas for the Amish boys as they celebrate with their new family, figure out the *ahem* perks of standing (or kneeling, as the case may be) under a mistletoe, and find a home of their own!

This is a gorgeous holiday epilogue to the Gay Amish Romance series.

I love David and Isaac, and my heart was overflowing for their beautiful HEA! Thank you, Keira, for writing this story.

YEAH! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I spotted this little jewel in among the 99c / 99p deals. My eyes were out like organ stops and of course I had to get, I have never one-clicked so fast in my life. Why all the excitement? Well, just when I thought that the journey had ended for two of my ALL TIME favourite characters we get thrown a surprise little titbit from Keira and my heart leapt with joy. This series is one of those that literally reduced me to tears, from sadness to angst, to joy! The feels I get with David and Isaac are off the scale.

Anyway, this is a seriously short read with just 55 pages but Keira manages to pack so much Christmas cheer and emotion into a few pages it’s wonderful. Isaac and David are gearing up to celebrate their first Christmas with all the trimmings English style. Also Anna has now run off with her brother David and is discovering everything for the first time.

That’s what I love about these characters, yes they are mature and intelligent adults, but as they are still experiencing everything for the first time in the modern world then there is also that truly endearing childlike wonderment and naivety that just makes my heart burst. I laughed out loud when Anna got David and Isaac to sit on Santa’s knee at the local shopping mall. I so had the visuals going on in my head on that one. But as I said, adults but experiencing everything like kids. LOVED IT!

We get all the magic of Christmas packed into a few pages and if this doesn’t leave you full of Christmas joy than nothing will. I could feel the love between Isaac and David just radiating off the pages and when they start to get it on, PHEW! However, it wouldn’t be Christmas without presents and when Isaac surprises David with his present I almost teared up again. BEST. PRESENT. EVER. And oh it was so sweet. If you want to know what the Christmas present is then you’ll have to read the book.

You’re probably wondering why 4.5 stars and not 5. Well, maybe I’m a little greedy but I wanted more and felt as lovely as this story is I just needed that little more depth of emotion that I get when reading a full length story. So as an appetiser for book four then it’s about as good as you can get. This book is not a standalone in my opinion, to get the most from it you really have to know David’s and Isaac’s story to date. And talking about their story, when I got to the end Keira announces that David’s and Isaac’s journey will continue with a fourth book in 2017. Yes, for me – BEST. PRESENT. EVER. Can’t wait!

*** This gay Amish short story if about Isaac and David. ***

I've read the first books in this series, so this was fun, to see how the guys are doing, and what was new. They are living happily after leaving the strict Amish life they were raised under. They have wishes and needs for their furniture business.

It's Christmas, and they could use some luck. ENJOY !

A sexy, sweet and touching tale of David and Isaac's first Christmas in San Francisco. I could read on and on about these two and the way they take everything in and adapt to their new English life. It was great catching up and seeing them moving forward. I laughed and teared up a bit and also got a bit hot and bothered. It just made me want to read the whole series all over again. Glad to see there will be more to come for this series!

David 💜 Isaac

A short and sweet catchup with David and Isaac. Here they spend their first Christmas outside of Zebulon. They are still very much in love and are working on building a future together.

Two Amish guys, Isaac (19) and David (23) escaped Minnesota conservative lifestyle and use their carpentry talents near San Francisco as they scrape by, yearning for their own place so they don't need to bunk at Isaac's older brother's and wife's house.

A quick one-sitting read that gets into bed by page 8. Some simple pleasantries surrounding their new experience of Christmas are celebrated, with happiness at the end under the mistletoe.

I haven't read anything else in this series. Just looking for some Christmas mm. This was available free on Amazon Kindle. Hint: search kindle; sort price; notice the $0.00. But do a little research using GR reviews before jumping too quick and loading up your kindle with stuff you might dnf.

Happy Holidays.

I was thrilled for another chance to visit Isaac and David. This was a cute story with the lovely addition of Anna.

More than anything I was just enjoying more happy moments for these two.

This story was supposed to be about the first "English" Christmas (as opposed to an Amish Christmas) that the characters have ever experienced! There should have been grand wonderment and excitement, but what we get instead are two horny guys in multiple sex scenes and some brief glimpses into surprise gifts and light bondage. WHAT??? This book was a waste of time to read and another example of a writer using sex scenes to fill a story when they don't have the desire or ability to be a good writer.

I haven't read the original story and while I thought this short story was sweet and nice, I doubt that I'll ever read the rest of the series.

I guess it must be horrifying to learn to live in a completely different culture. Christmas can be overwhelming, especially for the Amish. Anyway, it was sweet and it's hard work getting on your feet. It's important to have some space. I know I get super stressed if I have to be in an overcrowded place for a long time. I get the boy's problems. They had a support system and friends and family, so I could believe that they'll find their way. :)

This was a super cute novella. Almost more like an extended epilogue. I loved getting to see where David and Isaac were in life a year later and seeing where their friends and family were too. It was a very satisfying ending and I truly believed in their HEA! It was so perfect for them!

Regular readers of my reviews will know that I'm a big fan of Keira Andrews' Amish books, so I was very happy to check out this short story featuring the two main characters from the series, David and Isaac. It won't make an awful lot of sense unless you've read the other books, to be honest, so if you're looking for some gay romance (with hot sex scenes) that's very different, then you should definitely check them out.

A Very English Christmas is set after the third book in the series, and is a quick, sweet and sexy tale about the boys' first Christmas together as a couple in the "English" world, as they call it. They're still learning about the things that they've had no experience of in their Amish lives, still trying to build a life together. It was really great to read a little bit more about the boys in this great short story, and I very much hope the rumours of another book in the series are true!

Overall, a must-buy for fans of the series. If you haven't read the other books yet, though, I wouldn't suggest starting here. Read them in order and all will become clear - they're unique, incredibly well-written and engaging books.

This was a really sweet story about David & Isaac's first Christmas outside the Amish community. I really enjoyed this.

There's also a note that these guys are getting another book in 2017. I didn't know that & I'm super happy about it!

Warm and Steamy Cheer For Christmas

I got this free on Amazon and wanted something short and Christmas to read today in the male male romance. This book delivers not only cozy warmth of Christmas feel but so!e steamy scenes as well.

I didn't know this was part of a series but I didn't mind that. David and Isaac are celebrating their first Christmas away from their Amish home. They want their own home for multiple reasons which this books gives us if they get what they are after.

There are some moments with friends and family in here. Steamy sex and lots of happiness for Christmas. Never read anything in this series before but this made me want to read the other books in the series.

Is this a Christmas novella in my Grinch-y little hands? Yes. Yes it is. And I loved it! I’m very attached to Isaac and David and I just love seeing their baby steps in the English world! Their story epilogue and this novella just weren’t enough, Keira Andrews. I want just slice of life takes as they grow together and figure out life.

This one was especially smooshy because they’re both trying to surprise each other with Christmas gifts AND they’re trying to find their first ever starter home. It’s low low low angst sweetness with a 10/10 hint at some tying hands to headboards exploration in their future! Gimme.

MMRG Xmas Bingo Week 3: Xmas Decoration on Cover

This story is about David and Isaac’s first Xmas outside of the Amish community as they look for a permanent home.

It was very interesting to “see” Xmas holiday season and observance through the eyes of people who were formerly members of the Amish community.

This was the adorable epilogue I didn't know we needed but we definitely needed. David and Isaac are amongst those couples that stand out within my long reading history as one of the sweetest. I'm glad they're one step closer to their happiness, together.

*sigh*

I do so love these boys. Their love is just the balm needed for a desolate soul, a bruised and battered heart...and I wish we had another book, just for that reason.
