Nadia Archer was the good girl, but all of that changed when her older brother and his college friend throw a party when their parents were away. Triggering a downward spiral, Nadia goes from princess of the school to the notoriously rebellious, tattooed, single mother; the stain of her little town. She could care less about her reputation though, all she cared about was making ends meet and providing for her little girl, swearing off drama, and most importantly, men. That is until her brothers best friend gets out of prison and flips her world upside down. Now she has to decide..... is the risk of heartbreak worth it again? Or should she leave the Jailbird behind?

I loved this book so much. There was so much emotion and the storyline was perfect. I cried quite a bit but all for good reasons. Conway's characters are beautifully developed, making each moment between them much more impactful. I absolutely adored the writing style and cannot wait for Conway's next book! You are going to want to pick this up. It was worth its weight in gold.

Jailbird is such an amazing book, I was sucked in and couldn’t put it down. I found myself so invested in the story and characters that I had to keep reading until completion. So many raw emotions I laughed and definitely cried you can genuinely sympathize with the characters. It was very well written….. I can’t wait to see where the story goes next

This was SUCH a good book! Harper B. Conway has written an excellent story with so many layers.

Jailbird by Harper B. Conway is a small-town, single-parent romance. Nadia Archer, 24, is a single mother to the most amazing five-year-old, Layla. With the help of her brother, sister-in-law, and best friend she provides for Layla as both her mother and father. When Nadia was younger, she was the goodie two shoes, but one party changed her life forever catapulting her into becoming the person she only dreamed she could be. Christian Ray, Tyler Archer’s college friend, and former convict, needs a place to stay until he gets back on his feet. He stays at Tyler’s home and comes into contact with Nadia years after meeting her for the first time. Christian and Nadia’s relationship starts off rocky, but as they learn about each other and the baggage each of them has as their relationship develops from strangers to friends to lovers.

Christian is the ultimate, swoon-worthy book boyfriend. He is misunderstood because of his past and appearance as well as how he acts around Nadia when they first meet, but he’s literally the sweetest, most caring, gentleman of a man. Nadia has dealt with so much in her life. She’s a single, tattooed mother who constantly gets judged in the small town she lives in. Nadia has built a thick skin, she’s independent, strong, feisty, and tries her hardest to be the best mother to Layla. And Layla, this sweet girl stole my heart! I loved these characters; they were so realistic with all their flaws. These characters were by no means perfect, they made mistakes, misunderstandings, and that’s what made me love them so much more.

Jailbird shows Conway’s ability as a talented storyteller. The effortless transition from past to present, the development of the characters as the story progressed, as well as the way the character's emotions were conveyed. This book is a must-read and one I will be rereading because I LOVED Nadia and Christian’s story!

This book is so good I could not relinquish it until I read the last word. Miss Conway has a way with her characters I have only ever seen with a few other authors. This book was so not what I thought it was going to be. It was so MUCH BETTER! The characters are so well developed and the story has so many layers to it that it flows so well. I loved the way she used her characters and made them human with all kinds of issues. This is one of the best stories I have read this year! So good and so worth it!

When Harper offered me the opportunity to be an ARC reader for Jailbird, I jumped on it! If you look at my reading list, you’ll see this kind of book doesn’t fit in with my usual reads, but Jailbird is a story I’ve read twice now, simply because Harper is an amazing storyteller. Not every author can add relevant flashbacks as seamlessly as Harper can, and that right there deserves some recognition.

Do I recommend this book? Yes, yes I do.

Amazing. The amount of heart poured into this rollercoaster will impress you.

Detailed to the point that you can see each character, feel their story as though it was your own and see each scene as though it's a movie.

I will definitely be reading more from Harper and do it with a smile on my face. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntary review.

When I first sat down and opened this book I knew that I would finish this book and it would literally go into a pile of must reads. But by the time I had finished chapter two Harper B Conway had me sitting at the edge of my seat wanting me. The flow of the book, the emotions it comes with and the all around feeling of being able to lose yourself in a book that makes you feel at home is so amazing. I had found myself comparing reading this book to a great day cuddled up on my sofa with blankets, snacks and an amazing hallmark movie. this book felt so much like home that I am proud to say that I have read it at least seven times. Does anyone else have a display box for their ultimate favorite book? because I do and Jailbird is a part of that collection!

Well, it was nicely written. I enjoyed this book and the plot. I am not really used to ML's showing emotions this much. But this was a nice story. There were some trigger points but it wasn't that dark so I could read easily. I recommend you to read this book for a little escape from the harsh reality.

It gets better every time!

Truthfully I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten to read this book, and every single time I’m blown away by the story line. The love, the trials, the deceit, it all keeps you coming back. This among the rest of this authors work is phenomenal! Can’t sing her praises loud enough!!

A second chance at life and romance, not just for our Jailbird hero either. The romantic relationship was pretty much couple goals for the most part.
