Of all the dictionaries I've purchased over the years -- and there have been many -- this one ranks as the best. It's very rare that I don't find what I'm looking for in this. This is everything a dictionary is supposed to be. Forget Webster, go for an Oxford dictionary every time.

It has been a pretty good dictionary to keep on my nightstand. However after a decade or so I find the binding is failing and even after carefully gluing and taping it a year or so ago, again it is coming apart. Pretty good otherwise. I find I need reading glasses to read the fine print, and sometimes I can't distinguish "l" from "i" even with glasses. 70,000 entries, they say.

This Dictionary changed my life. I read this for about 7 hours straight and I learned more words. I would read this in my English class because I have no taste in reading. The plot is amazing i could keep rereading this story
