Adventure House is one of my favorite Pulp reprint publishers and this issue of their "High Adventure" series is one reason why. Beautiful full color cover art accompanied by a nice selection of stories inside. This issue reprints the very first issue of G-MEN starring Dan Fowler. "Snatch" is a novella written by C.K.M. Scanlon (a house name used by Thrilling Publications). It's a clever story filled with adventurous car chases and shootouts as Dan Fowler attempts to prove himself as a G-Man. Three other short stories are included featuring other G-Men solving cases and bringing the bad guys to justice. A short article on the use of radios to solve crimes as well as a short comic book style story of the crime career of John Dillinger are also included.

Just a review of the novel, Snatch. It is a readable and fun. Dan Fowler tangles with the Grey Gang. They mean business. So does he. The ending is pretty good with a twist that has to do with aspects of state and feseral laws. It was a good decent pulp novel.

Nice pulp reprint. Recommended
