Shanita is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a Master of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida State University. She has been serving individuals with Developmental Disabilities since 2003.

Bedtime brings adventure!
“The sky is never the limit… it’s only the beginning,” impeccable words from indie author, Shanita Allen. This vision is wholesomely delivered in the third and latest instalment of the “Let’s Go Dreaming” series, “Let’s Go Dreaming: Into the Stars.”
This story is dazzling and captivating! The story is rhythmic, and flows fluently when read out loud. I love the colour palate, the detailed and vibrant illustrations, the dreamy look in Ari’s eyes, and the expressions of her sidekick puppy, Pepper. It’s simply beautiful!
The themes of this book include: imagination, adventure, exploration and play. In dreams, we can do or become anything. Thank you for this reminder.
This book is part of a series. It’s a great way for children to learn about and bond with the characters. What will Ari and Pepper get up to next?

Perfect “Sweet Dreams” Adventure
This is such a sweet bedtime story that is sure to have little ones smiling, as they drift off to sleep. The rhythmic pattern of prose and the beautiful illustrations add to the appeal of this book. Little Ari and her best friend Pepper are lovable as the cutest little dreamy space travelers. I like that the author included learning opportunities throughout the story, such as names of planet and solar system. I’m sure the beautiful moon boots will lead to question or two! Excellent choice for a bedtime story. Certain to become a favorite for repeat readings.

The perfect Bedtime book!!
What a magical story to read before bed! This is the perfect book to get children excited to go to sleep. It follows little Ari and her dog as they go into space while they dream and have quite the adventure. With it’s rich and colorful illustrations and magical story I’ll bet it will be read over and over again in many homes before bed. My daughter loved this book now (8) but I wish we had this when she was a few years younger!!

I LOVED this book!!! What a remarkable read, so perfect for bedtime. The illustrations are so bright and the colors definitely remind you of a dream. The text sparks the imagination and is such a fun fantasy that children will truly enjoy exploring space with Ari and Pepper. I can see children wanting to read this again and again, making it their favorite bedtime story. I can’t wait to see what other dream adventures they go on with Galaxy Joe!! Wonderful job!!!

Enjoyed every page!
If I knew how to do a cartwheel, I would. I love this book so much. The illustrations were spot on, but the creative way of teaching kids about the solar system was really creative, fun, and a great way to learn. I am excited to have come across this book, and will definitely be reading it to my daughter again.

Head for the stars
I loved reading this book of rhymes ideal for bedtime will certainly get your child’s imagination rolling and have fantastic space dreams, some of the planets very young children will not know but they’ll know the names after reading this, beautiful illustrations complement this unusual adventure.
