Breaking Bella is a dang emotional roller coaster, I swear loving her was never healthy or whatever Vivian Green said!!!
Brax "The devil 😈 of Miami" is people watching when the most beautiful girl walks into the bar. She is slim thick with flowing locks and she looks too young and too innocent to be there. Brax is instantly drawn to her and after overhearing a little bit of the conversation she is having with her "Date" he is pissed 😡.
Bella is suffering from a serious case of low self esteem and anxiety. Omg 😳 it’s too much at points. Her self loathing doesn’t take a break until the final chapter. I mean you want to reach into the book 📖 and slap her on both cheeks at some points.

Oh h*ll to the Nah !!! Bella baby know your worth. Believe it or not Brax is the perfect gentleman. Yes, 🙌🏽 he is a kingpin but the man is a saint. We love him he honestly keeps me until the final page because everyone needs a guy like him.
But on another note 📝!!! The chemistry between Brax and Bella could light pants on fire 🔥. He completes her and she reciprocates.
As always there is soo much kink. 🥰😍🙂😇 YAY!!!
There is some light dirty talk from Bella and 100 %dirty talk from Brax. There is some humiliation 🙂 but just enough to make you swoon and some spanking off 📄 page.

2-2.5 Smut-Fluff ⭐’s
I didn’t realize this was so short when I started it. I’ve been reading a lot of smutty, soapy, trashy reads lately cuz my RL has been hectic, and I need mindless and easy… so I was a smidge worried when I had to stop twice within the first few pages to google “pencil jeans” and “red-pill videos” but it quickly morphed into smut and stayed in Smut-Ville until the end.
Brax (30) the Miami crime lord (that’s all we get on his organization) sees young Bella (19) at a bar and is immediately obsessed. Fortunately for him, Bella is weak-willed and pretty much goes along with everything.
Bottom Line- An insta-lovefest with a besotted kingpin building up her self-worth and encouraging spine growth by tending her lady garden with his magic member… and a pinch of daddy kink. This is fluff-smut, nothing realistic, no feels, etc. Short epilogue four years later.

I read this a month ago and life has been so chaotic I didn’t get a chance to leave a review or why I was only giving it 3 stars (which is a story that is passable but missed the mark.) knowing this author probably a slimy manskank Zero who verbally abuses the heroine. It’s just a guess tho, so don’t take my word for it.

LMAO Smut and riches sure does wonders for this chick's self esteem.
Having read another of this author's books just to be sure, I realised that her formula isn't for me. Her books feel too cold and clinical and is literally ALL ABOUT THE SMUT with a 'plot' that's trying to be deeper than it can ever realistically be. Skirts the parody line, imo. Obvs it works for many, not so much for me.

This is the story of Brax, the devil of Miami and Bella, a virgin girl that crossed path with the devil in a form of an angel. He was in a club, an she arrived to a date. Once he spotted her, he knew she was going to claim her as his. He saw when her date, Josh, was trying to move forward with her and how she felt uncomfortable. He decided to take action and make Josh leave while he took Bella with him. Bella was scared because she knew whom he was. What she did not know was that Brax already wanted her in his life not for a single night, he wanted her forever. He was determined to make her love him but he knew he had to break her, help her to have confidence and love herself to be able to love him too. He did everything possible to make her love him and changed her, even though he thought he was not worth him. But he was already a different man, a man in love. I loved the book, the characters and the plot. Highly recommended.

The first read of 2024 went "What in the actual world was that..."
I was intrigued by the blurb, you know, interesting plot, hot romance between the Devil of Miami hero and an innocent virgin heroine. Though, the execution of it was disappointingly bad. He claimed her without her consent and started doing everything, taking control of her life just like that. And he said he respected her. What a joke, honestly. But that's not the worst thing, she actually liked it. All because she couldn't see her self-worth. Like, come on.
This is what the book is about self-worth.
Super fast-paced with a lot of plot holes, confusing heroine and hero personalities, and sometimes juvenile acts. I expected more, for real. Novella indeed, however, I've read some other, same-length novellas with zero plot holes and lovable characters.

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. While I had a few questions about things that happened in the story, I let them go and just went with it. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Bella surprised me a lot. She seemed so, almost shut down (maybe) but she kept rolling along with Josh and later with Brax. Brax was protective, possessive, and determined. He was determined to make Bella his and to make sure that she knew that he felt she had value. Brax and Bella had some fun scenes, but they also had difficult ones as well. I loved their happy ever after and I recommend reading this book.

It was trying to do too much for a novella... it should have either been a full-length novel or should have been a little...lighter? More rom-com or spice or something?
Serious topics like Bella's extremely low self-worth were talked about in a manner that seemed too direct & flippant... like Here's the problem, Here's how we fix it, and ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ Okay we've done those things, and Now she's better. It just came off as a little inauthentic I think. I expected this to be a spicy romance novel but it came across as more of a "how to fix a broken little girl" novel..? There was one spicy scene early on with some dub-con and then the rest of the spicy stuff is pretty much glossed over. 🤷♀️ For me, it's 2 stars.

Brax is the King of Miami and the top of illegal businesses there. He fought his way up until he has become a cold and uncaring man only interested in money and power. That all changes when a beautiful woman walks into one of his bars. The man she is with treats her horribly and she lets him until Brax can't stand it any longer. He steps in and chases the jerk away. Brax is determined to claim Bella as his and teach her to value herself. She has such a low opinion of herself that he has a big job to do to get her to believe. He has to break Bella down to build her up again.

So first off the title of the book, Breaking Bella, does not really fit the story about Bella and Brax. This is a fast-paced and different romance. At the beginning I did not like Brax, actually I wanted to smuck him upside the head. I really liked Bella and felt empathy for her at the beginning as she is beautiful young woman who does not realize it. But Brax falls for her at first sight and then he redeems himself as he shows Bella what other people see and helps to build her self confidence.

Yes!🔥😍
This is exactly what I need! This story definitely was a mixed emotions, mafia, and most of all love. Bella is on a bad date when she catches the eye of a mafia king. Bella is beautiful, sweet, shy, and a little sassy. She feels so out of place because of childhood. She is about to be taught an lesson. Bax is all alpha man. He handsome, cold, mean, and press all the good buttons in Bella. He is about to teach Bella everything she needs that she doesn't even realize. I love it! The writing was done beautifully and flows throughout the book. It grab my attention right away and I finished it in an hour. Amazing work again Jenna Rose!

I love this author and her darker romances.
This is one of my favourite troupes.
I enjoyed both characters and their budding relationship.
The storyline was determined straight away with his character being the more dominant and knowing whay he wants from the get go and hers coming across as innocent and lacking confidence and came across as weaker and fast paced, with so much packed into one story.
I loved the anti hero angle as the kingpin saves the damsel in distress.
The tension made up alot of the story and then the chemistry was hot and heated up the pages.
I was satisfied with the ending and was happy with it all in all.

Brax had worked hard to become the boss of all Miami, but now he has nothing to work towards and is a void of the man he once was, a man leading his empire alone, until Bella. As soon as Belle walks into the bar with her handsy date she knows its not going to end well, but tocbe saved by the Devil of Miami is something she ever saw coming, now he claims her as his angel. For one night she thinks but the Devil is playing for keeps. This is a well written insta loving obsessive captive romance.

The author has given us a story that pulls us into the lives of Brax and Bella and does not let go. Brax is known as the Devil of Miami because of his business practices but once he sees Bella, he wants nothing more than to make her his. Bella has extremely low self esteem and wonders why Brax would even want her. Will he be able to convince her that she has value?

I thought that this book was great. I really like Brax and Bella together. Brax only wants to break Bella to put her back together but in a way that he sees her, not the way that she has been taught to see herself. I can't wait to see what Ms. Jenna as in store for us next. I really liked this book and I would recommend it and Ms. Jenna as a must read author.

Jenna Rose has written another steamy and OTT romance that will grab you and not let go. When Brax, the Devil of Miami sees Bella for the first time, he is immediately smitten. He will do whatever it takes to make her his. Before he can claim her, he will have to rid her of the obnoxious date she just walked into the bar with. Bella is convinced that she is not enough for Brax but he is determined to prove to her that they belong together!

This was a very over the top instant-lust story. It’s a quick read, with no-drama, but a bit theatrical when I comes to Bella’s behavior. She has some daddy issues and those play out in her self-worth. She’s also 19, and Brax is 30. Brax isn’t much better and says a few times that he has to “break her down and build her back up”. Brax is a bad guy, but Bella brings out the protector in him.

It has to be my least favorite book so far. There's isn't much to say about it.
Crime organized boss man sees the woman of his dream at a bar. She's there to date with a duche who doesn't respect her; he makes the dude leave for the way he's treating her. After that, he takes the reins on the situation and takes her for himself.
Now she's owned and never leaving.

She may be his angel, but he was her savior. She does not have any measure of her self worth and looks down at herself, and is willing to sabotage her life. Good thing his love for her is big enough for the both of them until she realizes her worth.

The title is a little misleading on this book. Bella is on a date with Josh. She is spotted by Brax. Brax doesn't like what Josh is doing to Bella. Brax decides to intervene. He decides to help Bella build up her self esteem.

Let’s just say this was a bit mean to start with, yet as it progresses the soft side comes out. I will say the beginning was shocking in how Brax started out with Bella, but liked the way he instilled confidence and showered her with love to show her worth that she was a wonderful woman. An interesting storyline with HEA.
