I just finished this book and i can say that i'm satisfied with what i read.
i admire the plot and the messages it shares through the whole book. the main focus beside revenge is to heal from trauma and old scars, and the process of reaching those goal is just beautiful. i love how the male lead adores the female lead regardless of her flaws, and i love how he's so considerate and helped her overcome her past.
the writing is good. sometimes, i even got the feeling that some conversation shared between the female and male lead is actually meant for the readers. the massages are so beautiful and positive. the writing is tidy and in order, but there are some seemingly important information that made the reader think that it's connected with the major plot when it suddenly forgotten.
the plot is gorgeous. the author is not rushing nor delaying an event. it just went beautifully and calmly, yet exciting. the ups and downs happened in the plot are all clear, and solved without unnecessary delay that resulted in serving the readers minimum drama but high quality conflicts.
character development is beautiful. the author served us a good meal. i love how the author focus on one thing then the other thing one by one, resulting in creating a very beautiful development. like, how the female lead healed before finding a new meaning to keep living. also when she finally able to overcome her fear to achieve her goal.
now if i talk about the ending, i can say that it's above average but not so special. the villain and villainess, and the lead characters all got the ending they deserved, however i can't feel anything more except a good feeling. for me, the ending that the author served is a calm one.
all in all, this book is a good one. the messages it shares, the emotion-stirring-conflicts, the satisfaction, and the jealousy for the female lead! beside that the villain and villainess are deserving of their title (as they're so ruthless and cruel and selfish), the other warning i can tell is that, reading this book will only increase the standard when you seek a partner.
Where should I even start? I love everything about this manhwa. The graphics? Yes! The story? Absolutely! The fashion? Oh, perfectly perfect.
The story begins when Queen Roselyn is betrayed and cruelly cast out by her evil husband. Left to die in the freezing snow, she’s found by Tamon Krasis — the man who literally saves her life with his kisses. That’s where it all begins. Tamon takes her in, hides her, and motivates her to live again. And when Roselyn finally rediscovers her spark… the real story unfolds.
First of all, I love Tamon. He’s absolutely relentless when it comes to Asha — he would do anything for her. One of the moments I’ll never forget is when he deliberately hurts himself just so Asha would heal him. That man is wild, and I adore him for it.
And honestly? I wouldn’t call this a slow burn. Tamon’s love burns fast and fierce — like a raging fire you can’t look away from — while Asha, on the other hand, stays in denial. Still, every scene feels perfectly placed; I didn’t find a single flaw that pulled me out of the story.
Another thing I adore is how fresh the visuals feel. Yes, it’s set in a kingdom, but it’s not all stiff gowns and heavy fabrics. And Tamon? Let’s just say he’s not shy about showing off those abs and biceps. Which, I must admit… I didn’t mind at all, lol.
Beyond the stunning art and steamy romance, what I admire most is the message. Beneath all the revenge and royal politics, this story is deeply about healing — from trauma, from old scars, from the parts of ourselves we’ve forgotten how to love. The process of reaching that peace is written so beautifully that it lingers long after you close the chapter.
It’s honestly one of the most unforgettable stories I’ve ever read — a mix of passion, healing, and growth that quietly reminds you: love doesn’t just save you, it helps you begin again.
The art was beautiful. The story, not so much. A lot of attempted suicide, and it got a bit uncomfortable for me to read. Im actually surprised that webtoons allowed it, considering the FL kept wanting to die in every scene, every chapter.
This could have been better if the story was paid as much attention as the art work. The art was truly amazing , and the characters mostly realistic. Some aspects of the romance did not feel authentic though , considering both the leads were quite smart and level headed otherwise.
idk how i feel about this one.. i liked the story however there were certain plot points that felt very uncomfortable within the romance. but at the end of the day, that's just a personal preference.
