* Graphic bro-humor, and much stupidity from guys who don’t know any better.
Two guys find a hot alien chick and save the world, right?
No, not so much.
John and his friend Gage split up. One raced off into space to save the girl while his friend promised to start a ‘Save the Alien’ effort.
What could possibly go wrong?
Well, anal probes for one.
Meehix believes she needs the help of an old friend who is one of the best computer hackers in the galaxy.
The only problem? He’s on ice. For 500 years. In a prison that no one has escaped from.
Piece of cake, right?

More heart stopping action and more jokes and developing relationships
Language is coarse, vulgar, and suggestive. The plot and action continue. Some characters are cardboard, mostly there for fun. John, Meehix, and Chuckie establish a base on station L-222. They guard and take various things from a large ship. They deliver the 'damsel in distress' to her uncle. They set up the base after robbing a fortress. Gage is still building local support. The gang has done well after the fortress and transport ship gig. Next book, more of the same.
Many chuckles and ha-ha-has as the dream team increase their lead over the bad guys, however, the bad guys have finally bought a clue and a serious rumble is in the offing.
Meanwhile, on Earth, Gage may have raised his ass a little too far above the parapet - while offering his often scathing and rarely complimentary opinion on a couple of less than stellar government agents. It seems the original probe didn’t have quite the desired effect so a rematch is on…
I have read a lot of Mike's books. I have about the Queen Bitch and her Bitches. I read about( and went and ate some delicious bbq because of) James Brownstone alien bounty hunter and destroyer of cartels. The list goes on seemingly added to daily. Some are kinda meh but very few. But these stories are funny. Laugh out loud funny. So no spoilers get the first book and read them both time well spent.
Damn, between this and the Kurtherian Gambit I fear I have become a Michael Anderle fan. It's one of those damned if it's good, damned if it's bad situations : given the author's output it's either a rabbit hole or the genre's offerings become 1000+ books short. Guess it's the rabbit hole for this reader...
As for this volume it's in the same vein as the first albeit with a more pronounced space op feel about it. An enjoyable read, awkward sex jokes notwithstanding.
Alien even to each other, our fearless bounty hunters have started a new occupation. Now they have become mercenaries guarding an earth shipment, ridiculously over insured. Chuckle N, master hacker has taken over the job selection, and as usual there is some question as to whose side he’s really on. A fun read.
This is a really fun series so far. Lots of action, interesting and detailed characters, and fun locations for the scenes. I like how the characters and world are all related and go back and forth with their interactions. I enjoyed this book and recommend it and the series so far.
