Davie's essays are required reading at The Daily Drunk site and this comes just before the release of his full memoir. Davie relates events from his life as predicted by Third Eye Blind's debut album. He writes brightly and engagingly even when talking about difficult moments in his life.

I first encountered David through his crime fiction, which I love, but I am always happy to read his autobiographical tales and get to know the man better. I'd highly recommend this short chapbook available for free from The Daily Drunk site, so you can get to know him too.

David turned me on to a band I haven't thought of in years. Bite-size memoir with a late-90s soundtrack--what's not to love?
