This a quick look at small towns in Wisconsin. The author often speaks from her own experience and that sometimes limits what can be said. I’m sure it’s hard to keep to a few paragraphs to describe history and current places and activities. As a frequent visitor to Northeast Wisconsin, I enjoyed that section of the book. This would be a good read if you are planning to visit Wisconsin and you would like to get a feeling for its small towns.
