Solving a mystery together, they will discover how suited they are. But can they really trust each other when they only met a few days ago…?
When Tabitha Oakley visits her newlywed sister’s new home, she doubts the dreary little town will offer what she truly seeks: a thrilling adventure, one that would give her the inspiration to write her mystery novel. But when a seemingly boring house party turns out to be a murder scene, Tabitha might come to regret her wishful thinking…
Trapped in the manor with a murderer among them and a horrible storm raging outside the walls, Tabitha must try to solve the mystery, before there’s another victim. But she will not be alone in this… The charming Mr. Hatcher, with whom she felt an instant spark, will help her get to the bottom of it.
But with motives flying all over the place, can Tabitha really trust anyone? Because when the lines of revenge and justice are blurred, who can really tell if a crime is worthy of punishment, or an act of kindness after all…
*If you like engaging characters, heart-wrenching twists and turns, and lots of romance, then you’ll love “A Mystery to Bind their Hearts”!
I usually love this author's books, so I dont know what happened with this one. The characters were not developed, the mystery did not develop after the death. Secondary characters were all introduced too quickly and I could not keep them straight. The older women were whiny and controlling. Their husbands were all weak with no backbone. The secondary young woman was dominated by her controlling mother, so she had no views of her own. I finally bailed half way through to save my sanity and stop me from dying of boredom. I really hate giving such low ratings on books by this author. I would advise you to cut your losses and avoid this book. Her other books are great to read. Even though I was given a copy of this book by the author, it in no way influenced my opinion and this is my honest review.
A Mystery to Bind their Hearts A Clean&Sweet Regency Historical Romance

A Mystery to Bind their Hearts By Mean Connolly, Starfall Publications
Five stars, it truly is a clean, romantic mystery.. Murder, who done it, drama and secrets.. Tabitha, her sister and husband, his friend Reginald was invited to a party naturally there was a murder.. And Tabitha, an inspiring writer and Reginald get involved in solving the crime.. They fall in love, alive the case and are married and is living happily.
Right in the middle of what to think on this book. Lots of twist, turns, u-turns and even a little slow down. Trust is an issue between Tabitha and Reginald. I'm a note taker, but there are way too many characters in this story to keep track of, I admit, I got lost and distracted trying to finish the book.
Loved this tale of an unusual young woman and a handsome man as they find themselves in the middle of a murder mystery. The story is well written and is a good mystery, as well as a sweet romance. All the characters are interesting and add to the story. A great read!
This story is all about trust. Who can one trust when there is danger lurking around every corner? An country house party, an aspiring lady author, a murder, a raging storm and lots of twists and turns make this an entertaining read.
This is one of the best books I have read lately. The characters were great and I could not put the book to go to sleep at night. Thank you again for an excellent mystery with great characters
So many people hated him! But his death bought some people together and remembering to love again! So many stories came about Karma is a bitch! Read and enjoy humanity is alive and well!
It was a wonderful novel, which kept me turning to the next page. The characters were formed in great detail in this mystery, with almost everyone having a motive and an opportunity. Who did it? Who was the murderer? Keep turning the page to find out!
I think this is Leah's best work. She has written an intriguing book that has a murder mystery, other books within this one, twists, and of course, romance.
This is a wonderfully gripping sequel to Leah’s last book. The clean and sweet plot that follows the characters on a journey of mystery and intrigue, whilst trying to solve a murder. The characters are all very well crafted, with the courage and determination to see justice prevail. as well as the two main characters managing to negotiate a romance. The extended epilogue is as usual, a brilliant way to bring the main characters stories to completion. I read an ARC copy.
