I enjoyed having a devotional specifically focused on Christmas. With my kids away for the holiday, it was nice being able to stay in the spirit I enjoy so much.

This book was just what I needed for a season that can help you feel lost in commercialism. It continuously brings the reader back to the reason for the season. It also helped offer many comforting messages about how to deal with loneliness and inadequacies that an individual might deal with during the holiday season.

This is one of the best devotionals I’ve ever read and the only Advent one I’ve ever read. I love how there’s thought -provoking questions, devotions, scripture, songs, poems, and stories. I looked forward to reading it each day, and that means a lot!

This was a different type of advent but I enjoyed it. She had a different outlook for many of the days. I didn't do everything she had but it definitely made me think. I was also glad that her story for the day was not usually one I had read before.

This devotional was so fun to do during the busy Christmas season. It reminded me to slow down and make time for Jesus. It also helped me realign my heart with Jesus and focus on HIM and less about buying presents or worrying about everyone else and everything else that does not really matter.

This was great. So well thought out and beautifully out together. Candace makes great devotionals. I will probably read this again. The only thing I wish it had was numbers for what day you were on.

I really enjoyed this Christmas book! There were 25 days of devotions and each included a two page devotional, a one-two page Christmas story, and a journaling type exercise. I loved the devotions, but I would have been fine without the extras that were included. I didn't read many of the little stories or do many of the exercises. I felt like the book was worth it just for the devotions. I plan to read it again next year and I highly recommend it.
