I found some great ideas in this book as well as reading some bits of information that seem like common sense but might not be practiced unless one made a conscious effort to implement. The end of the book focused on manners which seemed a bit over the top. Overall I think this is a very good book for Christian parents.

Excellent book for parenting. Parenting is not taught in schools. Here is an opportunity to learn it from Hughes' experience
