This book is an incredibly detailed history of the making of Pink Floyd's - "The Wall", both the album and the original live performances in New York, London, and Dortmund in 1980-81.

The first section focuses on the creation/writing and recording of the album. It details studio sessions, session musicians, lyrics, and studio facilities.
