A Deal With The Devil
He might not be the devil, but working under him for six weeks is my idea of hell.
Hayes Flynn is an arrogant jerk known best for his scotch habit and the way he spreads his British “charm” all over Hollywood, never with the same woman twice.
He’s the last person I want to work for, except he has a face I can’t look away from, and the longer we’re together, ...more

𝔸 𝔻𝕖𝕒𝕝 𝕎𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝔻𝕖𝕧𝕚𝕝 by Elizabeth O'Roark is a contemporary, boss/employee workplace romance stand-alone novel and my first from the author. I had no expectations going into this. Overall, I enjoyed the book. It is a lighthearted will they won’t they romance with funny and touching moments and an overall lighthearted vibe.

A funny and entertaining read that had me flipping pages after pages. It actually had me smiling right from the very start.
I love Hayes (perfect cover model, by the way) and Talia's dynamics. They're perfect for each other... especially with their never ending banter. There's never a dull moment with them. Both were burned from previous relationships so both were skittish to start anew.
I love how Talia cares for Hayes, even though she sees him as the devil. Hayes seems cold fro ...more
A Deal With The Devil is a slow burn work place romance and is crazy spectacular! Tali finds herself working for Hayes, whom she believes is the devil himself. His demands are many and his lifestyle is not one she agrees with. Through some fantastic banter and humor these two begin to grow on each other. They both have some huge family issues that keep them from making the leap but when they do - WOW. These two are fire!

Elizabeth O’Roark is a new author to me and I am surprised I have not come across her books before. This is Hayes and Tali’s story and it was an entertaining read as I was drawn into the story that Ms.O’Roark wove.

This is my first title by this author, and I enjoyed it overall.
The chemistry and the sexual tension between Hayes and Tali was phenomenal and you really felt their connection, even from the beginning of the story where it was clear Hayes wanted nothing to do with Tali (although you find out the reason for this later in the book) you could feel that there was a connection between them in the way that they interact with one another, and react to one anothe ...more

When I discovered that the writer Elizabeth O’Roark had writing a new book, I was super excited about it. In the past I have enjoyed her books very much so this news made me very happy. And after reading ‘A deal with the devil’ I can happily say that I loved this story very, very much! And even now, a few days later, I’m still thinking about it.

It is crazy if I write Santa a letter and ask for my very own Hayes asking for a Friend. I abso-freaking-lutely am a fan of Elizabeth O’Roark and am so glad I got to read this book. I had not read anything by her but I must say I loved her. A Deal with The Devil was absolute magic. I loved how Hayes was this playboy year had a heart of gold. Both Hayes and Tali are a little broken romantically and it is so fun to watch them grow together and to begin trusting one another. In the beginning Hayes was a bit of a man-whore and in real life how he had Tali handle his conquest the next day would be off putting. However, the more you learn about Hayes and why he ...more

My favorite part of the story how Tali challenged Hayes. She wasn’t afraid to speak up and say what’s on her mind. Hayes won me over as the book progressed. Loved him.
Tali & Hayes’s journey was not easy, but worth it in the end. Together they were stronger & were imperfectly perfect for each other.
