* Graphic bro-humor, and much stupidity from guys who don’t know any better.
It was supposed to be two bros on a lark to find jailed outer-space aliens.
They honestly didn’t think it could be real.
Now, one of them has busted a foxy blue alien female out of jail, stolen a UFO, and decided to start a non-profit to ‘Save the Aliens.’
The only problem?
One of them might be falling in love.

Jack, an uninspired gamer/ hacker is challenged by a friend who's gotten some "top secret" Intel about a super secret alien jail that makes Area 51 look like a failing taco stand! It looks like any other soul.sucking office block next to a storage rental place, except there's something odd about the office block, it Dosen't seem to have any doors. Deciding to investigate the storage space the eventual find a secret door leading to an elevator and things get weird from there! If you're looking for a something to cleanse your mind from the last harem series, this book is for you!
John likes to play video games in his mother's basement. On a lark with one of his best friends, he rescues a hot blue alien princess from a top security jail. Meehixiheem has been betrayed by friends and others leading to her unwarranted incarceration on earth. The earth space force is corrupt which pushes John and his new partner, Meehix, to deeds that annoy them. Adventures ensure as events bring them to rescue Meehix's friend from a cryogenic prison world. I like the action, humor, and romance. I look forward to the next book.
Made it about ¾ of the way through when the simplicity just became too much and I quit. I mean, the plot “advances” by having the MCs make stupid mistakes. Of course, something else ALWAYS trips in their favor so the MCs squeak by but it gets tiresome when it’s always so obviously plotted. The association (relationship?) between John and Meehix is complicated, remains annoying and never feels settled. The more I read, the less important the storyline became, and eventually that lack of concern pushed me out of the book.
Language throughout book is vulgar, coarse, and suggestive. Other than that, it is an entertaining book about the rescue of an alien blue princess Meehix by John Jacobs from a secret prison. The Space Force has some corrupt arrangement. John and Meehix escape in Shipewa, a spaceship. Meehix has been betrayed. She and John become bounty hunters and rescue another alien named Chuckie N. The adventure continues in the next book.
Not exactly a typical KU book or even a story about aliens. This is a funny love/hate always moving action sequence story. A dumb earth kid who lives in his mom’s basement and spends his time playing video games, sneaks into a supposed space force base. And while sneaking around to gather evidence to expose it, discovers what is actually a prison for aliens. And we’re off… A surprisingly good read.
Finding out the government is keeping aliens jailed and that they have their own AI-controlled space ships is one thing. Going out into space to take the girl alien home is the beginning of a roller coaster ride! I really enjoyed this story and there are plenty of directions for the upcoming stories to go that the storyline is pretty unpredictable. The best kind of story!
Quantity over quality. Quantity over quality. Quantity over quality. Quantity over quality. Quantity over quality. Quantity over quality. Quantity over quality. Quantity over quality. I don’t understand why michal anderle promotes such low quality… oh wait it must be the money.
I enjoyed his the Damned series quite a bit, I am a huge sci-fi fan. But yeah the pacing and character development just felt off and the longer I read the more I realized I was not enjoying the story. Which was weird as both under this pen name and his extremely prolific work as Michael Anderle, well I love a great many of his books. Anyway swing and a miss on this one for me.
Code Blue: Alien Jail Break is the first in a series that looks like it's going to be a fun series. This first book was very funny, lots of laugh out loud moments, plenty of snarky humor, and plenty of action, and even some bounty hunting. Altogether a fun book.
I completely enjoyed reading this book! The lead characters were fun, & funny, despite the teen angst. As a premise, this book rocks. Who wouldn't want to fight injustice & make things right in the Universe? (Or even just the Galaxy...)
Another good one from Michael. (And my tbr list just keeps growing)
I almost gave up on this book a third of the way through it. It was just TOO weird for me. Not saying it isn't well written, just saying this is one series I cannot and will not finish. However, don't take my word for it! Buy the book and see for yourself. You might actually like it and will be able to call me a fool.
I really wasn't sure what to make of this initially...A first by Michael Todd for me...but can honestly say that I am glad I persevered! Earthling Gamer releases alien from incarceration and goes on the run...into space! Hilarious adventures and unexpected surprises...both for the characters and the reader!
This was a fun book filled with good characters. There is a lot of action in a bunch of interesting locations and planets. It will be interesting to see how the hacker USB key helps ship in the future. I enjoyed this book and am glad there are more books in the series. I recommend this book.
I usually likes Michael Anderle books from the get go but I struggled to get into this one but it got better as I went on. I’ll give the next book in this series a try.
Insert whatever you think for the... In the review header. More totally ingenious story lines in this book than a... Ok I'm being slightly brain dead today, suffice to say a bloody good book
Written by and for someone younger than this old man. Some humor In the book - too bad it wasn't laugh out loud humor. Some sexual innuendo and some nudity.
Interesting but a bit crude. Live at home gamer boy John breakers an alien princess out of a secret facility and becomes a galactic Bounty Hunter - then breaks another alien out of the Galactic Prison.
It is 4 in the a.m. Had the hardest time putting Unlikely Bounty hunters down. Highly recommend everyone read this book. I am going to start the next book in the series right now
Oh my gosh I have never laughed so hard reading a book. I am on my second time through the series my only complaint is that the series ends. This whole series is so fun.
On one hand, the needlessly complex alien names remind me of science fiction from the Golden Age to the 50's, and the plot is very YA (but not using YA language). Still, the story has enough humor and the characters are likeable enough to keep reader interest.
Love the characters. Just pure entertainment. If you want to laugh out loud, this is book for you. Thanks for the great time and I am looking forward to the next one
Quick moving action. No deep insights, but a lot of fun. The characters are well developed and colorful. The alien “chick” has blue skin, green hair and a sex toy!
Quirky, strange, funny and non-stop. This is one of the best alien space adventures I've read lately. It's not based on weaponry or an invasion. It is based on a hormonal young man who meets a drop dead gorgeous blue alien. Of course the alien has the best lines. The only thing missing is a Tribble.
