The Arsenal #8

Lethal Echo

Rate this book
She’s spent her life on the periphery of humanity.

Bree Geissenger lives by one mantra: You’re only as good as your latest creation. Tucked away in laboratories, always wanted for her brains, she’s been safe. Unseen. But the new life she has at The Arsenal has upended her carefully constructed world. Unable to cope with the threats against her friends, she fractured. Determined not to be the weakest link, she fled the safety of The Arsenal compound to heal. Regroup. Hunt.

Those she loves will no longer be prey. She’ll ferret out everyone who’s a threat to those she loves, no matter the cost. There’s no sacrifice too great in war. A smart soldier doesn’t work alone, though, which means she must work with the operative she wants more than anything.

He ran from a past he’s swore to never delve into.

Ramon Zapata escaped the underground, clandestine world his parents deemed his birthright. Military life honed him into the weapon he swore to never become and gave him the only true family he’s ever known. Life at The Arsenal was everything he’d wanted, including the brilliant, beautiful scientist who blew his world wide open. To save his new family and the woman he loves, he must reconcile his past and work with the black ops organization who spent years hunting him like an animal.

Failure isn’t an option. Never quit. Never surrender.

So it’s taken me a few days since finishing Cara Carnes’s newest release ‘Lethal Echo’ to process the book and be comfortable enough with my thoughts to write a review. I mean I’m no author but the words flow and I am able to express how I felt while reading a book. If it was laughter, trepidation, even tears…the words pour out like a geyser. I usually don’t have a hard time writing a review. Not that anything was bad with the book. Far from it...the book was AH-MAZE-ING but this is the first time I am writing a review for Cara Carnes. Being able to capture all of that and put it on a page is a little daunting. But I’ll try.

I came across Cara Carnes books quite by accident. Like most avid readers, I have a TBR list that is never-ending. So when finding new authors, there’s a chance it will be some time before I am able to start reading them. But there were so many people talking about Ms. Carnes and her Arsenal series, I had to get them and read them right away. I was not disappointed. The series is fantastic. I couldn’t put them down and even devoured the “in-between” stories on Ms. Carne’s website. But I guess I should tell you why I decided to choose this book for a review if I loved the series so much.

I was semi-prepared for emotion. The ones I mentioned earlier. They were there but so was…MORE. From the very beginning, the reader is ensnared and begins the ascent. Think of a roller-coaster…up…up…up you go. You know there are twists and turns. You know there are ups and downs. You don’t know when they are coming but you have that flutter in your belly that you just want to throw your arms up and see where the ride goes.

On to the story. Honestly, you couldn’t dream of a better, more steadfastly loyal, loving leading character than Ramon. I’m not going to talk about his physical character—geez, go read the book. I’m more interested in his heart. He is unwavering and unyielding. And he doesn’t give one flying fig. (Luckily he’s got the physicality to intimidate). He’s the embodiment of that “if you love something, let go...” saying. He will sacrifice himself with a smile. A bittersweet smile, but smile all the same. And he is the perfect match to Bree’s bruised and battered heart. They appear polar opposites: Ram is big and outwardly opposing. Bree is small and fragile looking. They are two sides of the same coin. Ram is the anchor in Bree’s world. He has the strength to steady her, but also the strength to pull her ‘out of her head’. I hope everybody has their own Ramon in their lives.

It is my opinion that this book is about pain and suffering. It’s about guilt and self-destruction. It’s about addiction and consequences. It’s about LIFE. Ms. Carnes has this uncanny ability to tap into a reader's deepest emotions and thoughts and bring them out. To have a reader identify and empathize with her characters. To get the reader to say “wow, I totally get that...it’s like she’s captured a part of ME with this character”. And to do that? To have that in not only one but EVERY book you write takes INCREDIBLE skill. A skill that is shown with each and every book release. So to sum everything up, this book is MORE than just a romance novel. It’s a testament to life and living and the highs and lows we each live through. It’s an affirmation that life is tough and we all need to look deep for inner strength to pull us through. It’s a reminder that it’s okay to lean on friends and family for support and love. But mostly it’s a book that says, it’s OKAY to be broken. We all are in some way. Just don’t let it stop you from living or making connections. Cause THOSE are what hold us together.

Cara Carnes is an amazing author!

I absolutely loved this story. The character dynamics, interactions and the love/ adventure stories they go on.
This book is no different. It gives you the feels, it makes you route for the good guys and damn the bad.
You seriously have to read not only this book but the complete Arsenal series so far.
Congratulations Cara for another truly brilliant read. I really wish your books were longer, only because I hate when they end.

Loved Bree and Ram's story. Love this series, it keeps getting better and better
Bree Geissinger, is the Arsenal's wild card. Incredibly brilliant, her out of the box thinking is responsible for most of the teach that keep the Commandos and everyone else safe. Some of the things she has created has put her on the Mason brother's watch list. Bree has a big heart and a low self-esteem. Her biggest fears are losing her Arsenal family by being less than perfect. She is spiraling out of control. She retreats to her family's mountain cabin.
Ramon "Ram" Zapatero, is one third of the "Triple Threat", he and is best friends, brother of his heart, left the service after a mission gone bad. Now members of Gage's team, and happy to be doing what they love. Bree has been on Ram's radar since he met her. Her being gone is not sitting well and pushes go bring her home. Jessie gives Ram some good advised. Ram has to decide if he wants to be Bree's Levi or her Ellie.
Bree is home. Her Grams, big brother and his kids with her. She is working on getting better, its a process. Ram has her back. Douge and Pierce welcome her into their tight brotherhood as a little sister.
The Mason brothers are her biggest hurdle. Marshall and Nolan especially terrify her. When she braves letting everyone know how she is feeling. Marshall makes sure she understanding what she means to them, not just for what she can do but for who she is. The brothers don't just use words. The step in to see what she does and try to understanding her whys. Marshall, like with Addy, makes sure Bree knows he has her back.
A man from Bree's past shows up at the Arsenal. He is not to be trusted but his organization needs Bree to help them gain control the black on black prison who's security she helped design He is using an old friend of hers as a way to get her involved and back under Knightwind control.
A very large and tangled web surrounds the Arsenal. Pulling strings and digging through the layers brings more questions than answers. Who they can trust is a very short list. Bob is not on it. A very powerful and ancient origination is watching. Their King Maker, is ruthless, but a man of honor. Rom has ties to them. Everything seems to have ties to the troubles the Arsenal has been battling since they stepped in and saved Mary. They are a strong family. Everyone brings something to the table. That is what makes them so good.
Mary brings in The Scythe MC's Ghosts, Shadow, Knight and Grim, from Fighting for Jen, to help on a key op.
Fallon's new family is a joy to him and Rhea. His team is struggling. There is hope that he can pull them together.
Levi gives the impression that something is up with Brooklyn.
Mia has her eye on some of the operatives that have her concerned.
Get to know Marshall a little better.
Fast paced, a little steamy, some sweet and funny, with a fair amount of mayhem. Loved Bree and Rom's story.
Loved Bree's Grams, and big brother, his kids have already become fast friends with Dallas and Fallon's. Mama Mason is working on having their visit become permanent.
A lot of ongoing plots through the series are resolving, at least for now. While some loose ends have yet to be tied up, their time is coming.
There is an open invitation for chocolate ice cream to the King Maker.
Loved Bob's kids, Tabitha is no ones fool, and I think Mary and Vi have their eyes on her. She just may find her way back to the Arsenal.
Hoping Jason Cohen finds a home, if not with Arsenal, then Counterstrike or even with Tanner's group.
Gage, the Triple Threat and a few of the Mason's put together a special fun day for Zoey and Bree, which is also is part testing a few of Bree's newest gadgets. Nikki proves to be a great assistant and addition to Rhea and Bree's lab.
A great set up for Dom and Riley. Something has clearly changed. Riley has been poking the bear for sometime, much like she did for her brothers when they came home. Dom seems to have turned the tables, and she is clearly not happy. Seems to be upset by the fact now that he now has a more permanent place on the Mason Ranch. Can't wait for their story.
Love this series as well as its cousin Counterstrike.
Cara Carnes books are an automatic by for me. I know I will get a great story.

Lethal Echo gives us a peek into the incredible brain of the Arsenals mad genius of weapons Bree. Bree is a manic perfectionist always afraid letting everybody down. When Ram gently but persistently pushes his way into her world she is ready to give him a chance. I loved watching Bree grow and watching her relationship with Ram fulfill its possibilities. This story ties up a lot of loose threads but offers some exciting new questions. This book is a thrilling emotional ride.

I have a headache... in a good way... this... this was brilliant.

I have been all antici-patey for Ram & Bree's story since 'Zero Trace'... and that anticipation was thoroughly deserved.

The Triple Threat were perfect... they found their own calm. Loved that. Bree's family ( bar the parents ) were wonderful. I loved the whole Mountain thing...

Bob... Bob... Bob... you silly stupid selfish man. I do feel for Vi & Mary... they had had a long standing relationship with him... and he did that to them. What else had he done? I mean, the cage on the third floor is telling within itself... Still, I guess what Bree has done will work...

Fraking hated Gavin... I hope that he gets stuck on the M25 on an eternal loop.

And Lily... will she be the lead in the new 'Refuge Ridge' series with Tanner et al?

Levi? Brooklyn? I know that they had a 'thing'... is there something there? Cos, I really love Levi... he really looked out for Jesse.

I am so glad that Bree realised and accepted her super-power. She really deserved that peace. And what was happening with her parents? I don't remember her interactions with them in 'Sight Lines'( currently bedtime listening having bought it from Audible ), apart from that she was ' was flitting about with her equally friendly parents and sister.'... whereas in this one we met her Grams, brother, nephew & niece... ( actually, whilst we're on that... Rhea was having a heated discussion with her parents as a younger woman holding a baby watched on... who was that? )

And we got some of the Ghost Scythes in this... too too happy about that!! I was hoping we'd see more of them after 'Fighting for Jen'... look forward to more of them too.

I re-read 'Breathe' & 'Bulletproof' ( both free reads via Cara Carne's website... thank you!! ) as CC advised in the author's notes... which did help! Although, I would've liked to have had a little more of Sol and Nikki... but, glad they're happy!! Oooh, what about her sister?

Another question... or two... is The Collective really dealt with? And what about the bloke who was behind Mary's ordeal... Bradley/Brandon Upton? And what happened to Martin Driggs? And Jian Chen? Is there another sub-level to The Arsenal where all the bad things go???

I think that all my questions show how immersed I am in the world that Cara Carnes has created. I just love it!!

Eep... Riley and Dom next. Roll on November 23rd ( the date in 1963 Doctor Who first aired for all you Whovians out there... probably bears no relevance... but I can't help but love that! )

And after that? Good grief... there are just too many options as to who it could be.

Using the GR rating scale, "I liked it". However, not as much as I've liked the previous books. One issue is that this book brings together many story lines, and while I've read all of the main-line books, I haven't read all the tweener short stories, and I definitely feel like I missed a lot.

Also, by merging the different plot lines, all of the characters demand screen time, which means less time for the MCs. I really like the whole crew, but I never really felt a connection with the main couple. They never resolved the issues from their respective pasts. Last, there is less time for the sexy bits, which were less frequent and less intense than in some of the prior books.

I think I will go back and read the short stories - they're free. Perhaps that will fill in the blanks and give better context to some of the plot threads.

Note that the writing and characters are still great, and the action sections are still thrilling - this story is held down by the weight of all the prior stories, which may be a good problem to have.

Loved this book. Bree realizes she's a valued part of the team. That she's not the weakest link. Ram stands by her and helps her with her growth. You won't believe who the villain is. Lot of questions answered. I love this series. It's a must-read

This book opens where the last one ends, and quite frankly if you haven't read this series I suggest you go start at the beginning. You'll get so much more out of every book.

Bree has been away from the Arsenal for a couple of weeks, she's working through her issues and guilt, but still doing sessions with Sinclair and talking to Jesse as well. Her brother Lars informs her the alarms she set up were going off. She'd her phone on silent and had a bunch of missed calls from Zoey. Zoey lets her know their friendlies, 'The Triple Threat' is coming to retrieve her.

I got a kick out of their reaction to getting stuck because of her new invention, and how they needed to override it.

Safety is everyone's main concern and Bree agrees her family should come to the Arsenal at least temporarily. She's more than a little surprised when her Gram didn't protest at all.

I love Bree's niece and nephew, Hillary and Luke, the addition of her stories about the superheroes just makes everything more amusing. Especially when all the teams just go along with it.

It isn't long before alarms go off at the compound, since they now have protected airspace and a helicopter is incoming. The passenger on that plane isn't really welcome but the Arsenal will hear him out.

Now Bree's taken on a lot of guilt that really isn't hers and while she's still getting herself together she still has bouts of feeling unworthy.

A shortfall of the group is revealed when attempting the plan to get eyes on Bob (the Secretary of Defense), Bree has new tech and she's hesitant to share. She was very busy while everyone was working on the Russia thing. It's Ram, Pierce and Doug who notice her tell and calls them out on it. Then Bree finally says something and immediately they recognize what they'd been doing and the apologies start flying. More important is they now have a solution they didn't know they had.

This whole book is multiple levels, between family, friends, missions, new tech and the simmer to sizzle romance between Bree and Ram, I just couldn't put it down.

I can't wait for the next book in this series!!!

Absolutely loved!!

This series just gets better and better. This story revolves around Bree and Ramon. She is brilliant and apart of the creation team with the rest of the genius female coalition power within the Arsenal. She helps brilliantly crazed kind has come up with numerous tech that has kept the Arsenal warriors safe and secure. Faced with her biggest fears of losing family, after all the Arsenal family has been through, she seems to be spiraling in effort to keep everyone safe. She escaped to a family cabin to decompress, with her grams, brother and his kids. Ramon(Ram) is 1/3 of the ‘triple threat’, that makes up Gages team, and he is none to happy that the girl on his radar has up and left. After he goes to get her, his team welcome her to the fold like their new sister. And she works on building bridges with the masons who try to understand her mind and actions. They all make it known that she is one of them and family. And family always has each other’s back.

Of course the book needs conflict and from multiple angles, As per Cara Carnes, customs. Everything is interconnected and a past connection of Brees shows up, needing help, but can it be trusted. Another angle is the organization that’s obviously been yanking their chain despite the good they do and all the interconnected strings linked to Bob(not trustworthy). But Ram has past ties to them as well before he was an Arsenal member. Oh the tangle web they weave.

We of course he to see some of our favorite characters and some of the ones who don’t yet have their own book, making progress and waves towards their own stories. Yay!!

Per usual, a Cara Carnes book is steamy, sweet, kick ass, hilarious and fast laved(so keep up) all with some craziness and chaos mixed in to create the perfect end result.

Cannot wait for Riley and Doms book!!, And any and all books for counterstrike!! Anytime she puts out a new book I am always game, and will result in me being up all night reading.

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

I have been waiting for Bree's book and it did not disappoint! As the series progressed, I felt bad for Bree and knew that things would reach a boiling point. We all have times where our thoughts, and things people say, loop over and over in our heads and make us doubt ourselves. It was nice to see Bree come out of her shell, and tell people what she really felt and thought about the teams comments to her. None of that negated her intellect and ability to continually improve on her 'toys' however! I know that there are people like Bree in our world and to see just a bit into her world was amazing. I have to say, that I loved the 'blow things up to relax' part of the book and you will too!

This author is relatively new to me, I say relatively new, because a week ago I read the first book in this series and have now burned through them all! This is another must read for anyone who appreciates romance, intrigue and how many threads there can be when weaving a story together. Then you start to pull the threads, one by one, only to uncover another path in the story to add to the suspense. What a ride!!!!

I’ve always admired Bree’s ability to think outside the box. Her creativity and genius have contributed to the creation of many innovative high-tech gadgets and weapons to aid and protect the commandos within The Arsenal. When her past suddenly comes crashing into her present, it’s a good thing she has Ramon in her corner. She’s going to need that fierce and protective commando, now more than ever, given all that’s at stake.

I loved the sweet romance that developed between Bree and Ramon. Their mutual attraction has been simmering for some time, with each in a slow and cautious dance around the other. I loved how the women rallied around Bree during her crisis of faith. Their strong bond of sisterhood, steely resolve and kickass attitude remain steadfast regardless of what’s tossed their way.

Cara has once again delivered a well written, intense, and often emotional tale. As expected, there’s some major special ops action, plenty of intrigue, suspense and numerous twists & turns, along with some humour and several explicit encounters. I’m looking forward to Riley’s story, Shock Tactics. I received an Advance Reader Copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.

HOT DARN....I’m thinking all my reviews will be starting this way for this author...HOT DARN.
Bree who is apart of the Arsenal group and the brains to the many deadly and life saving devices she invents to keep her Arsenal family safe. All the operators need her outside of the box thinking to help them on their missions. Problem is Bree doesn’t think she contributes anything and doesn’t realize her Arsenal family loves her and need her in their lives. Ramon has been taken by the brainy, kind, empathetic woman since he first met her and when she goes away to get her head on straight, he’s chomping at the bit to get her back to where she belongs. He needs to show her that she matters, is needed and take their friendship to the next level. But their pasts collide into their present and it will take Bree, and all her outside of the box thinking along with Ramon and the operatives to unravel the web of both their pasts as it seems that two new groups could be gunning for the Arsenal.
OH MY MY MY MY....these two were on fire and the only disappointment was....the story ended. I LOVED Ramon and Bree, the no drama, no misunderstandings, trust, friendship, and honesty between them....HOT DARN!!
The story started off with a bang and didn’t let up, steam, suspense, action, betrayals, surprises, twist and turns, AMAZING characters, flowing beautifully w/o skipping a beat and descriptions that were spot on, felt like I was right there in the middle of it all.

After reading the first book in this series a few years ago, I was instantly enamored with this author and her amazing writing ability. As with all of Ms. Carnes' books, this one pulled me right in, and I didn't come up for air until I'd read the last word. I read a lot of romantic suspense, and I have enjoyed this series more than any other I've ever read in this genre because of the author's talent for creating an entire world that I feel like I'm a part of. I love the Arsenal world and look forward to each installment. Bree has been a favorite character of mine since the beginning, and I have anxiously awaited her story and hoped that she would be matched with someone worthy of her amazing mind. I'm so pleased with how things turned out. Ram is perfect for her; he is an amazing blend of badass commando and enamored suitor. If you haven't read this series yet, I can't recommend it highly enough. Your only regret will be that you have a job, or kids, or some other responsibility that will keep you from devouring the whole thing fast enough.

Another great story from Cara. Ram and Bree made such a great couple. Ram was so considerate and caring and yet totally hot and alpha!!! Bree was the main focus of this book, which was great, I would have liked more of Ram though as he seems to have more to share. I would love more stories with the remaining two from the Triple threat!! Plus Mia ,Lexi, Marshall and Nolan. The trouble is is that there are so many fantastic characters I want all their stories! I loved the ghost members from Scythes MC and need more from them as well! I don’t know how you come up with all the plot ideas and the drones etc but keep them coming!! Can’t wait for Riley and Dom’s book next, the ending left me wanting more. This is a fantastic series I recommend all the books!

Buckle Up! Get ready for a wild adventure Arsenal style..

I have to admit I was concerned about Bree and her story, silly me. All I can say is WOW. Strong, smart women - powerful, alpha men who know how to respect and support those women ..sneaky bad guys.

Bree and Ram are wonderful together. I enjoy watching Bree interact with the Pentagon and see her grow and realize her spot on the team. It’s fun to watch her with Ram and his team. We get to see her background and get to meet her family. Get ready for Bree’s crazy, you wont be disappointed.

I’m excited about seeing other characters but I’m not telling….The Pentagon looking for bad guys, Commandos serving up justice..It doesn’t get any better.

You are going to love this one!

I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars. It was a blast getting to read more about the Arsenal crew. Bree has been dealing with some things and has decided to go it alone. She goes home to her family on the mountain where she spent her younger years. When her friends come to bring her back home with them, it's decided her family should come too. Ramon "Ram" Zapatero has had feelings for Bree for months. Bree likes him too, but so far, neither one of them have done anything about it. Ram is determined to change that. Can they find their "happy" amidst the chaos and bad guys who never seem to leave the Arsenal alone? Get this book ASAP and find out. I received this ARC and here is my honest review. Sorry, no spoilers.

I received an ARC for an honest review. You can not go wrong with the Arsenal Series.YES,YES, YES! I have always loved Bree and could not wait when I heard she was finally getting her story. Bree journey is different than the other 'geeks', but so meaningful. I love Ram for Bree, and I love how the Triple Threat embraces everything about her. You get to see more interaction than just main characters together, ie Jesse and Bree et. I love Bree's type of crazy thinking. A piece of Bree's past comes into the scene,(also leads to pieces of Rams past) that tangles with a current Arsenal issue. Of course Bree just need to pull some out of the box ideas and she has not only Ram to back her but all of Arsenal with her. This is a Series I will always recommend!

Cara Carnes creates some of the most complex and fascinating characters I've ever read. Bree is her best female character to date. She's brilliant, compassionate and fiercely devoted to her friends and family. Those traits are what lead her to spiral out of control. She is overwhelmed with guilt and a sense of failure each time someone she loves is in danger. As she comes to terms with her feelings and how her past impacts her present, she begins to open herself up to Ram. I loved these two. Ram is everything she ever wanted but was afraid to reach for. Their romance develops against the backdrop of action packed scenes, an epic betrayal and the introduction of another big player. This was a fantastic read and I can not wait until the next book by this author.

Bree is a part of the Arsenal. She feels helpless when her friends suffer at the hands of others even though she ensures they have the weapons and equipment to do so. Her emotions and actions spin out of control so she leaves to regroup. When rumors surface about her, the Triple Threat, a team of three soldiers, comes to retrieve her and her family. Ram, one of the soldiers is done waiting. He has feelings for her and is determined to pursue her. Add in a secret mission, an old enemy, a traitor and lots of explosive action, suspense, sizzling moments and lots of unexpected twists. An emotional, action filled read that will keep you captivated until the end and leaves you wanting more. Received a free copy and am voluntarily leaving an. honest review.

Embrace your crazy!

I love, love, love this series....they may be a little crazy but they are also a lot of awesome. Every. Single. One. Of. Them.
The Arsenal is a group like no other, tackling the dregs of society and the most dangerous of enemies, success would be impossible without their most dangerous weapon.....Bree.
Ram is perfect for her, he is her safe space, her security, her sounding board.....he is her Ellie!! Swoon!
This is an amazing series BUT you do need to read the whole series in order for it to make sense, there are numerous plots and twists that follow through the series and experiences referred to provide the background for events here...so don't wait try book one now it is a free download, you won't be disappointed!

As I’ve come to expect from Cara, lethal echo is another brilliant book. The whole arsenal series is amazing and this book is no different. Throughout the previous books we have seen glimpses of how Bree is quirky, highly intelligent, fiercely loyal and feels deeply. Lethal Echo delves more into that and shows her journey to understanding her important place within Arsenal, and the strength she has within while finding the perfect man to support and challenge her. The new threat to the team is complex and brilliant. This is a must read book and once again I’m left counting the days to the next release.

This is book 8 and it's Bree and Ram story. The Arsenal is still trying to shut down the enemy and figure out who all the players are. With Bree's help with all her "toys" she finally feels like she is a valued part of the team. Bree and Ram make a great couple he so caring to her. We have danger, emotions, betrayal, and romance I was glad to see Shadow and some of the other guys "ghosts" from Scythe in the book helping out on a mission. Hope we see more of them in other books. Cara didn't disappoint with this book it gives us everything we want in a book with all the wonderful characters. Can't wait to read Riley and Dom's story to see where that goes.

Cara Carnes has done it again! I can and will never get over the brilliance thats is her mind. Every single book has touched me in a way no other has and lethal echo was no different. Bree was strong but vulnerable and just needed to get into the acceptance stage that she has a family, one that would do anything for one another no matter the cost. No-one is weak at the arsenal because together they’re a force bigger than anything else. Ram was an honourable guy who’s back story was very interesting and the triple threat are amazing.
Btw i want more Lars! THE ARSENAL STRIKES AGAIN= IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE.

Finally, Bree's story, and what an emotional ride it is. The ridiculously smart weapons developer carries so much weight on her shoulders. Luckily, she learns to let Ram help carry her load. Her character develops and matures throughout this book and eventually finding the courage to stand up to her friends. Ram is yummy and helps Bree see herself as others see her, a strong, intelligent woman and without her, the Arsenal wouldn't be nearly as successful on their missions as they are. She's got the men's backs and they in turn, have hers. Another excellent tale and I hope the series continues as long as there are operatives.

This is the latest chapter in the ARSENAL series. Bree is the brains behind their weapons tech, constantly improving on and discovering new weapons for the commandos. They love her but she worries that she might be a little crazy! Ram has been interested in Bree for a long while and appreciates all she does for the team's. He will take care of her, forever. The ARSENAL series is awesome, every story is amazing with plot twists and turns, some you never see coming!!! I highly recommend this book and I give it 5stars!!!! Cara Carnes, your stories rock!!!! 5 stars ❤❤❤❤❤

As some of the other reviewers have mentioned: READ this series from the beginning. The Arsenal world is full of amazing characters, but Lethal Echo will be much more enjoyable reading when you understand all the background.

Bree & Ram are, like all of Carnes' characters, amazing and deep. She really knows how to write characters that reach out and grab your imagination then your enthusiasm for helping them survive their struggles.

This eighth book in the Arsenal series is every bit as good as the first seven! Cara Carnes is an outstanding author!!!

What an awsome book. I have loved every book in this series and Lethal echo did not disappoint. Cara Carnes weaves a tappistry of characters and situations behind her main characters that draws you in and leaves you wonderfully satisfied yet longing for more. Bree and Rams story was beautiful. If you haven't read the previous books in the Arsenal series along with the counterstike series then I would suggest that you do, although this is a stand alone book, reading the others will help with understanding the bigger picture. 100% recommended .

SECRETS WITHIN SECRETS

So many secrets, so many hidden agenda. Tons of fast paced action, intrigue, twists and surprises, and amazing hot sexy romance. Bree comes into her own and finally realizes just how important she is, while Ram, and also the rest of the Arsenal family, is there to support and encourage her.
Lethal Echo is my favorite in the Arsenal series, which is saying a lot since I really liked and enjoyed each book. Did not want to put it down. So well written. So highly recommend!
