Fight five guys in a dark alley or step through a mysterious portal?
For Kristen Mora the choice is easy, but stepping onto an alien ship isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially when a figure shrouded in shadows starts talking about Celestial Mates. A mate? Her? No, thank you. But a temporary escape from her troubles on Earth might be just the thing she needs, and a vacation on a dragon planet is a once in a lifetime experience.
Wait. Dragons?
This alpha dragon isn't looking for a match...
Drikal rules over the dragons in his territory and guards against the threat of encroaching wyverns. He has no time for a mate, but meddling in his court has him meeting a strange woman and questioning his resolve. She ignites the fire in his soul and makes him question everything he thought he knew. Can he mate with a human? And could it be fate?
Celestial Mates always make the right match, even when it seems impossible. Mated to the Alien Dragon features fated mates, one hot alpha dragon, and a feisty heroine who might just be more than she seems. Read today!
Wow! Such a great book. This is my first experience with this author, but she might just become one of my new favorites. This book is an experience in fate, family, friends and love. The author did such a good job of creating this new world, full of fantastic creatures, wonderful characters and intrigue. There is conflict along the way, but these two find a HEA that is sure to lead their people to more such pairings. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author.
Mated to the Alien Dragon is a stand alone shifter/alien romance novel set in Mrs. Rudolph's 'universe' (the Oscavian empire is mentioned) but there is no crossover. If you read a lot of shifter romances, this is definitely mostly that, but with the alien aspect thrown in.
As with most alien romance mate agency type books, this is about a human woman from earth who is taken, mostly without her consent, to another world by a mysterious alien group and dropped on another planet. What I found most unique was that though the planet was cognizant of space and other races, they rarely interacted with them. Drakus has no space modes of transportation at all. This made for a very reclusive world that also had technology. An interesting concept.
Our heroine Kristen is a down on her luck 20 something orphan from earth who gets snatched away from an impending beating and possible death due to circumstances that she didn't actually instigate (hence the down on her luck). Death or getting shipped to an alien world? I'd have done exactly as Kristen did.
Drikal, our enigmatic dragon shifter head alpha and Kristen's intended 'mate' is about as opposed to the whole mating thing as Kristen is. It takes a while for these two to finally decide they actually want what they've found and about as long to get to really like Drikal's character. He's a bit stodgy at first.
There is action, shifting, political intrigue, meddling mothers, family drama, and dramatic buried secrets to be had within. If you like a feisty if jaded heroine and a brooding but solid alpha male, this is a good story for you. It lost a star for me because it was done in first person perspective and I have a really hard time enjoying stories written that way. Still did, so good job Mrs. Rudolph.
This book has a slightly different twist to the story but is otherwise pretty generic. Kristen is an orphan on Earth. She is unable to find work and finds herself much Xiong in with dubious company. When she is set up for a crime she didn’t do by her new ‘friends’ she finds herself running for her life. On the verge of being caught, she runs down a dark alley a sees an open portal ahead. Making a split second decision, she jumps through just as it closes. After all she knows that staying will likely mean her death, or at least broken bones. Within minutes she is ejected onto a lush, verdant world with terse instructions: “go to the Keep and tell them that you are from Celestial Mates”! While looking around at the peaceful, rural scene, something that was rarely seen on earth in her time, she saw something flying overhead that wasn’t a bird! Nope, definitely not a bird but more like a ...dragon? So, she carefully made her way to the keep where it came out that Drikal (the Alpha of alphas) knew nothing about her coming. In fact it was his mother who contacted Celestial Mates. When it becomes obvious that Kristen has dragon flame inside her that is growing the longer she is on Drakus, speculation grows as to when she will shift, will she be an alpha dragon and how she came to be on earth. Anyone who likes fantasy, shifter romance and stories about alien hotties, will like this. There is a bit of a twist but no real action. I don’t expect in depth character building in this type of story but I did feel that there was too much left out. Still, it was an easy read.
Kristen Mora is is in trouble and is being chased by bad men for no reason when she sees a light and decides to take a chance and go through it and hopes it’s the right decision, now she is on a space ship that’s from celestial mates taking her to her future husband and when she gets there and meets him it’s not the welcoming she thought she would get. Feeling rejected by him she makes plans to go back home. Drikal is the alpha of his clan and has no time for a mate even the one his mother has arranged although she is quite attractive but she is not for him, and then she gets sick at dinner he feels bad and she is taken to her room but some hours later she is still no better and is taken to the healer and Drikal feels he must be near her but cannot explain why and when they touch his dragonflame comes rushing forward calling her his mate and her body reacts to his touch and it clams her down. Could it be she is his one true mate a human that now he finds she is a dragon and has a dragon flame coming out now. How can this be with everything that’s going on between the Wyvern race that could spell war for the Dragons of Drakus. Will his people except her as he has or will they force her to leave or will she want to leave him herself, read this exciting book to find out all that happens next you won’t be disappointed. I voluntarily read an arc copy of this book for an honest review.
I liked the build up in this story. Kristen is a fire cracker, she's smart, feisty and full of sass. She's the kind of h you just know you are going to enjoy watching her fight giving her heart to anyone, and boy dose Kristen fight it, even when all sorts of other things in her life start going crazy she's still fighting for her right to choose. And I for one love that in an h, and Drikal is just the male to show her just what she's going to be missing out on. Overall I liked this book, Kate Rudolph writes a fun and exciting world with just the right amount of drama and anticipation to make turning to the next page a must. And that is my honest opinion, given freely from an Arc copy sent to me the by the author. I was not compensated in any way for this review.
Customer Review Sewsummore 4.0 out of 5 starsWhen a Dragon finds his fated mate! April 27, 2019 Format: Kindle Edition Kristin was transported from Earth to become mate to Drikal, the Dragon Alpha. His mother had requested the match since Drikal had shown no interest in the dragon ladies of his court. It soon became apparent that they were indeed soul mates even if she was a member of the Wyvern Dragons, their long time enemies. I enjoyed this book fantasy of Dragons and soulmates. The setting in the book was well crafted and the main characters had many redeeming qualities.
Kristin is between a rock and a hard place. Deal with the small mob who are after her due to her so-called friends dropped her in it or head into the alien transporter beam? Transporter beam wins!
Drikal is astounded that his mother is so set on him finding a mate that she signed him up to celestial mates! But now that she is here he is warming up to the idea. But as some of Kristin's background is revealed Drikal's clan comes under attack from their Wyvern foes.
Great story and intriguing storyline. The Priestess totally kicked ass!
Kate Rudolph's prolific imagination expands the Oscavian Empire to include both the infallible Celestial Mates matchmaking service and dragons, in this out-of-the-frying-pan-into-the-fire alien romance. The fine world-building and the exciting action sequences are pure KR, and the unexpected twists of the tale keep you riveted to the pages from "Oopsie-daisy" to HEA. Many thanks for the ARC and another entertaining alien dragon-shifter love story.
Loved everything about this book! I couldn't stop reading and just wanted the story to go on for the rest of their lives! Great characters that caught and held my attention, combined with a wonderful plot to make this book a read over and over. I really enjoy most of the Celestial Mates books but I think this is my new favorite. I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily reviewing without any compensation from any source
Kristen couldn't believe she'd been betrayed again by people she though were friends. Though being scooped up by an alien and told you have a mate that's waiting for was even more a shock. Drikal is the Alpha of his clan but his mother thought he shouldn't wait to mate so she had contacted Celestial Mates to find his mate. Another great story from this series with some fab twist and some very unexpected surprises that will blow you away. Brilliant read all will enjoy.
This was good. Kristen Mora is in an alley and meets up with 5 guys and but she finds a lighted portal and steps onto a alien ship and someone is talking about celestial mates. She finds herself on an alien planet and supposedly a mate to the alpha dragon Drikal. He is not too happy either. To say sparks fly is an understatement. Pretty good plot but just didn't go far enough for my taste. Could have had a bit more action, etc.
Lovely book. I loved all the twists and turns. Everytime I thought the book was going to go in a specific way, it changed. Like who the parents were of Kristen, I thought it was Greer, but it wasn't. Though I saw the problem with Vayne coming. I loved the book! Just the right length with action and romance. I received this book as an ARC and voluntarily leave this review.
I really enjoyed this story in the Celestial mates universe. Kristen went threw a portal to escape danger and was then told to tell those in the Keep she was sent by Celestial Mates. She has been matched to the alpha dragon, Drikal. Politics, back stabbing, a mate that is perfect, yet not and a wonderful HEA.
Kristen leaps out of the frying pan and into a new world! Suddenly she is an "odered for" mate for Drikal an alpha male dragon leader on the planet she ends up on. Amid turmoil, danger, intrigue and more secrets are revealed and lust and love engulf these two in incindiary heat! Maybe fate knows what it's doing after all!
This part of the Celestial Mates series a well written book that I know I have now read twice. Kristen Mora and Drikal an Alien Dragon this has a very good storyline. There is suspense, drama, danger, a villain who thinks he is doing good for his people, and romance. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Take the blame for something you didn't do or go through a space portal? That was the choice Kristen had to make and how she ended up as Drikal mate. It had it's twisted and turns, good writing and a solid story.

I really enjoyed this steamy sci-fi romance. The characters are well developed and likable with great chemistry together. The storyline grabs your interest from the start and keeps it to the end. With dragon shifters, suspense, and steamy romance, this is a must-read.

This was another amazing book by this author. I was so engrossed and engaged in this book that I hardly noticed anything else going on until I finished it. The characters and the world she created in this masterpiece was amazing.

Kate Rudolph's Mated to the Aluen Dragon is a surprise I really enjoyed. Kristen is in trouble, about to be captured by bad guys, when she's offered a way out bt the Celestial Brides program. She winds up on a planet with dragons, engaged to their king. Her secret, though, comes to light, endangering her. She isn't actually a human, nor is she a dragon!
This book contains two of my favourite elements: dragon shifters and alien romance. It captures you attention right from the start and keeps it up all the way through. It’s a book you won’t want to put down.
I enjoyed reading this book 📚, the storyline is entertaining and is filled with action and intrigue. The interaction and chemistry between Kristen and Drikal is wonderful. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book a a FREE ARC copy and I voluntarily leave this review.
Beautiful romantic adventure with incredible characters who fall in love as true mates not seen in centuries despite being two different types of dragons, totally unheard of! Thanks for the incredible read♥️♥️
I loved this steamy sci-fi read! Kristin is on the run and ends up on an alien ship. Drikal has no time for a mate, but how can his mate be human? Fast-paced read with lots of steamy and plenty of drama and suspense. I was hooked from beginning to end.
