Viper
I love Tiana Laveen's books; they are entertaining, intriguing and insightful. It is rare, very rare, that I don't like one of her books. The Viper and His Majesty was beautiful. I love stories about guys who are tough yet caring, who have lived hard lives but try to turn it around for the better even if it's still a work in progress. My favorite of Ms Laveen's male characters is Dr Saint Aknaten but Viper and Angelo Ferrari are a close second and third.
This author doesn't write about the sweet beta male; you know, the guy with the squeaky clean past, upstanding job and stellar parents. No, her male characters are definitely raw, gritty and at times rude, but I love them. Not because they are rude but I love them because they are honest and don't have time to play mind games. This is the kind of man Viper is; he doesn’t sugar his lifestyle or try to make you feel comfortable about it. He definitely knows he wants better for his lady and those he loves, therefore he strives to be better.
Oh, let me not forget Majesty, she’s a woman who rarely gets featured in stories, and if she does, she’s so broken down that she practically runs a good decent man away because he may have a few flaws or because he's perfect according to some list she has written. Majesty is hard-working, loving, wise and caring. She knows not to surround herself with people who don't really care for her or who don't have the desire to see her do better in life. She doesn't really want a man like Viper but when she sees that he's not like anything she thought he was she opens up to him. Great story - and you know it must be great if I wish it within a few hours of its release.

The King & His Queen
And other awesome book from MS Laveen, The characters will leave you in stitches , the 9 years old Troy is a trip, I love Viper and Majesty but little Troy is my favorite. That kid is hilarious!
The book is loaded with mystery ,twists and turn, and you just can't put it down. I am glad Mr Earl is doing ok.

It's not exactly what you think.
First off, this is really Viper's story. His voice is what drives this story. I was intrigued with how he saw himself and his evolution. I also like how the relationship between the two is inevitable and just par for the course. I am really enjoying how we are getting this almost exclusively from the perspective of the men. There is no cliffhanger and a HEA.

They were all running from their lives
Majesty Wilson needed to get her son Troy out of Miami. She's worked too hard and was in school to make a better life for herself and Troy. Her son was too precious to her and life as a single mother was hard. When she moved to the house across the street from Viper, she was put out with all the loud music that was coming from across the street and needed it to stop. She was taken aback by the big scary handsome Latin King but she stood up to him to voice her complaint. That made him take notice of her. Most people were scared of him.
Dominic "King Viper" Martinez was at a point in his life where he wanted more than being a gang banger Warlord for the Latin Kings in Little Havana. He had enough of prison. If he wanted to survive he needed to get out of that place and he did. Others thought he was abandoning the LKs but it was self-preservation that prompted him to move to Boca Raton. He wanted to do things differently with his life. He wanted more. He felt jealous of the other Kings who had wives and families. When Majesty and Troy moved across the street, he just knew that God had delivered her to him.
This was a wonderfully detailed story as on Tiana knows how to do. It was well researched so far as the Miami Latin culture was concerned. She presented the gang life in a realistic fashion. The story was well-plotted and executed, by taking a very serious subject matter of gang life and how it affects families and balancing that plot with well place humor. Little Troy kept me in stitches and so did their neighbor Mr. Earl. This story accurately depicts the lives of black and brown people and what they have to live with not only in Florida but all over the country and the world. Everybody's family had issues and Majesty finally got some closure with her mother and father.
King Viper and Majesty's love took its time and unfurled into a hot blazing fire. Viper wanted more than a physical relationship with Majesty and I could appreciate that, but that Chapter 13 was pure fiyah. And his wedding vows to her were so sweet. He showed a side of him that most men would not dare do. The repeated referrals of a Viper in the Garden of Eden throughout the book were so appropriate. Viper lived up to his LK name. He showed "Amor de Rey" in more ways than one.
FAVORITE QUOTE: “You should’ve never stepped on my side of the garden if you didn’t want the fruit. I’m not Adam… I’m the Viper.” He ran his hand along her shoulder, wanting her so damn bad, his d*ck throbbed with need. “You were made for me.”

Keeping it real.
All I can say that this book is so damn good.It gives you a true meaning real relationship between Viper and Majesty because it touches all of phases of their relationship. Their chemistry is off the chains.
The supporting characters were dangerous and hilarious. This book deserves ten stars instead of five stars. Give Mrs. Laveen a standing ovation because she kept the readers on their toes and thirsty for more of her wisdom. Thank you for keeping it real and worth every damn penny. All I can say is that the heart knows what it wants.

Can I have a Viper?
This was a good read. I have read nearly every book by TL that I can find. I have loved all of them. All are in constant rotation; read numerous times. With each read like the first. So, with that being said, I am simply going to recommend this book. I'm not going to critique it or give away bits and pieces of it. I'm going to recommend that anyone wanting a good read. Wanting a great author to follow. Pick up a TL read. You won't be disappointed and like me, you will become a fan. Each book is a treat, wrapped in a surprise, and this book was no different. I love the strong black women she creates with her imagination and her pen. I hope she never stops creating books with strong black women leads. It's nice to see our women and the pieces of our culture and uniqueness reflected on the pages of a book. So, keep writing and I will keep reading. This book was really good and after you read it, you will understand why I asked the question but wrote nothing about Viper in my review. 😉

King and Queen!
I chose 5 stars because the book was 5 stars plus! A book that you loved and did not want it to end! A book that from beginning to end was outstanding a story that made you fall in love with every character! But of course every book that I have read by this author was and is first rated! The Viper and his Majesty was meant to be! If you like action and even suspense this book is for you! I will read it again, but it would even be better if there is a part 2! Yes it is just that great! Thanks again Tiana Laveen! I buy your books simply because I know they are going to be outstanding, I do not have to read the description of the story, I just click because I know it will be good!

Great as ALWAYS.......
Can She write a book that is not good? Can she write a book that doesn't make you think?
I really enjoyed this story about Dominic and Majesty and there life. Must say I was chopping at the bits reading what happened on their way to Disney world but happy in the way "Viper" handled things. Slow and steady gets the job done. Such and intelligent guy.
On well on to the next one. I have most of her books and I like that they have a lot of pages.
Keep up the good work.

Great Analogy's
I'm not sure if all the references in this book are true, but it definitely gave some insight to a world I have no clue about. I enjoy Ms Leveen's stories a great deal. This book had some great LOL moments. Keep up the great works!!!

To the King and Queen
This book was amazing. Truly one of the best books of 2021 and one of the best books I have ever read. From start to finish I could not put this book down. Viper and Majesty’s story is an attest to true love and when you find the right one at the right time you will know. Viper was a man who was honest and never denied his past or who he was presently. When he met Majesty he was all in and ready to pursue with no games. Watching them come together gave me goosebumps because it was so intense and honest. I highly recommend this book

Enticing!
Ms. Laveen is a wonderful and creative storyteller. An engaging storyline and characters that steal your heart. The banter between Viper and Majesty was hilarious and that alone made this book worth the read. Viper and Majesty also were straight talkers and did not suffer fools, all while being loving and loyal to family and friends. I also like the way the author ties in current social issues with her stories. An awesome read.

I'm not a fan of spoilers in reviews to spoil the experience of reading it yourself so let me just say that once again, Tiana Laveen has created a crazy beautiful journey! Viper is a stone cold Alpha who navigates and masters two worlds like the boss he is and Majesty is a strong Queen who is working hard for the life she wants and the life she wants to give her son and when the King and Queen meet.... Fireworks and a passion so hot, I was fanning myself, muttering, whew Chile! This book will make you laugh out loud, smile, get tense, mad and cry at you take this journey. It's worth every emotion..... excellent read❤️

Majesty and King Viper , great story
This story was so good, well written, colorful, well thought out characters. When Majesty meets Dominic "Viper" Martinez their attraction is instant . Their love story is a rollercoaster. Tiana describes the world of the Latin Kings and Queens in vivid detail. Viper and Majesty's love story is so deep,, I was riveted from the beginning to the end.
This story was so good, well written, colorful, well thought out characters. When Majesty meets Dominic "Viper" Martinez their attraction is instant . Their love story is a rollercoaster. Masterpiece
Another masterpiece that simply hooks you and leaves you craving for more. Viper and Majesty , together with Mr. Earl and Troy will have you laughing, crying and rooting for them. Loved that the hero was atypical , loved the strong black heroine who wasn't jaded and crass but who knew when to be vulnerable. I could go on and on but I will just stop and say another Masterpiece.

LOVED IT AND SO WILL YOU!!!
The characters and their personalities were real as hell. The whole story line was just truth. My emotions were all over the place. There was comedy in one sentence, tears in another and then finger biting. I literally found myself laughing out loud at some of the interaction between some of the characters and you will too. Get the dang book. Tiana has done it again!

This was awesome! If I could have given it more than five stars, I surely would! I love the characters especially Dominic aka "Viper"! He is added to my long list of "book boyfriends"! LOL! This is such a beautiful story and Ms. Laveen writes so well and she shows how characters who have had a difficult life can also deserve to be loved as well. Two other characters that stole my heart and also kept me in stitches was Majesty's son, Troy! He kept Viper laughing and he told all his mom's (Majesty) business! So typical of a little kid! This took me back to the days when my son was a child, too! And, the other character is Mr. Earl the nosy and caring neighbor. He was such a character and I am glad that they took care of him and made his life easier in his old age. This was such a nice story even though it is about issues that we deal with everyday such as the racism that exists with the police, gangs, violence, etc. I am so glad that Majesty and Viper got their HEA and had such a beautiful wedding!

Great book!
I've had this book sitting in my library for months! Ms. Laveen is one for my favorite authors, and I buy her books when they come live and am never disappointed! You could feel the love Viper had for Majesty and Troy! His personality reminded me so much of Saint, from Ms. Laveen's Saint series. If you have not read these, please do so! You will love it and hate to see it end! I did! I am still hoping for an update on Saint and his Xenia! Just putting it out there Ms. Laveen! As far as this book, it was great! Please keep the books coming!

Viper!!
Tiana laveen put her foot as usual in this one. What I love about Tiana Laveen books are that all the men treat their women like queens and they are the Kings and the alpha males. I love how from the start of this book you have a man showing a woman he was interested in by his deeds not words. He showed and proved and I love how viper was a true gangster but showed reverence to his black Queen Majesty and kept his family protected from that side of his life. A reread instantly for me.
Tiana laveen put her foot as usual in this one. What I love about Tiana Laveen books are that all the men treat their women like queens and they are the Kings and the alpha males. I love how from the start of this book you have a man showing a woman he was interested in by his deeds not words. He showed and proved and I love how viper was a true gangster but showed reverence to his black Queen Majesty and kept his family protected from that side of his life. A reread instantly for me.

Dominic, King Viper needed change in his life. He felt it in his core. Majesty was transitioning making a major change in her life. They met at a time when both were searching for completion. Each filled a space they never knew they needed so desperately. Their story was beautiful, loving themselves and those around them. Finding courage to become one when they appeared so different from each other.

Amor De Rey!
I don’t know how Tiana does it, but each time I read one of her books I never want it to end! The life that she breathes into her characters is filled with so many levels and dimensions to their personalities. I don’t want to give anything away, but this book is just like the Hero King Viper. Patient, slowly building until it strikes and before you know it you’ve been bitten by Ms. Laveen’s talent.

Good book
It took a minute for me to feel the connection between the H and h, eventually it did happen. I loved Viper and getting a glimpse of the Latin culture. The food described made my mouth water. I loved Majesty and her love for her son. I also liked the fatherly and son bond formed between Viper and Troy. I liked that Viper stayed true to who is was, but also showed growth.

Viper was quite a man, i liked every thing about him, this was a very good book to rea kept me turning the pages. But both sets oftheir parents were a hot mess. no wonder viper and his girls life was so messy but they fixed it. Love that weddding i could see it all as if i was really there. Now on to your next book pls.

Loved this story
Loved this story. I think King and Majesty were wonderful and we all should strive to be as honest and true as they are to themselves. I believe I got moneys worth with the cereal analogy, that was gold to me. Keep those books coming Ms. Laveen your books are truly refreshing and you are a very gifted storyteller.

This was excellent.
This was an excellent story. I just miss Laveen out her books on Audible, I would love the brought to life characters in her stores. What more could I say , just as the other readers stated there are some books and characters that stand out Dominic and Majesty are that couple.Bravo Ms. Laveen

Loved this book! Viper was a sexy, cunning, lethal, and funny guy! Majesty was a gorgeous, hardworking, smart and smart mouthed woman. She moved into his neighborhood, they clashed and it was all she wrote! I liked the intrigue a d the drama and the inner working of the Latin Kings. I liked the evolution of Majesty's mother, cause she was a whole MESS!! Troy was funny.

Loved this storyline
Another great book by Tiana Laveen. It was so well written, especially Troy. Things he said properly had me LOL, and even rereading some of his funny comments. My only criticism was some of the deep mental conversations in Viapers head went on far too long and I found myself having to skip through them but all in all it was still a 5* read

I simply loved Viper’s character because he embodies the statement “what you see is what you get”. I also loved Majesty but felt she could have done more to Troy as his mouth was too smart for a 10 year old. At any rate, the love story between Viper and Majesty seemed authentic and relatable. Overall, it was a good read.
