I’m a man who doesn’t do attachments but when hurricane Brinley roars into town and needs protecting, I don’t hesitate to claim her because that’s what I do. I’m the hero. By claiming her I knew I’d have to protect her from outside danger, but I never thought the danger would come from one of my own brothers. By falling for her, protecting Brinley means breaking my loyalty to the club.

Swear to Christ the author should be absolutely ashamed of themselves! The portrayal of the heroine (zeroine) as a "fat chick" was disgusting. Her self esteem was non-existent. She considers herself fat, ugly and invisible. The hero (zero) doesn't help anything at all either. His thoughts were appalling to read about the heroine. Absolutely nothing romantic.
The heroine bases everything on her being fat. She will never be loved because she's fat. She doesn't get laid because she's fat. She will never be wanted by anyone because she is fat. She's supposedly safe from assault because big girls don't attract that much attention. The way she views herself and speaks of herself was absolutely awful.
I'd quote some of this trash but that'd require me to still have the book available to do so.
I understand maybe what the author was attempting to do with the portrayal of the heroine being curvaceous but brought up in a toxic environment where her self esteem took hits. This was not done well and was offensive in every way.
Having read books in the past with BBW heroines there are so many ways to write the heroines insecurities or the hero helping to build self confidence but not like this.
This, especially Levi/Hero's POV was offensive and pissed me off so much! His thoughts read like a immature middle school boy who didn't want to be seen with the geeky girl or the slightly overweight boy. The author ruined his character. He was nothing like I expected from previous books.
All in all this was utter trash and the amount of fat shaming and offensive remarks left me disgusted. There was too much stupid for me.

Dad selling daughter on her birthday to settle a drug debt gotta be the worse parenting, ever! Hard beginning. Descripton of Brinley's physical appearance is hard. Brinley's dad, in Black Pythons MC, owed drug money to Devil's Riot MC, sold her to pay off a drug debt. There is a bit of a dispute because the buyer think she's fat. She stole money and ran away to the last known address, Thornbriar, Ky, her sister, Hannah settled in, 7 years prior. Brinley may be thick, but she is no slouch. Liam, volunteers to be responsible for her. He has concerns about her size at first, then he gets to know her. He finds her easy to talk to and wise for her age. Does Liam develop romantic feelings for her? There is betrayal, acceptance and compassion in this story. Is Liam able to protect her from her father's club? Do the Lords accept Brin? Nice story, intense! I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A lot of emphasis was placed on Brinley’s large size and shape. That didn’t keep her drugged out father from selling her to an abusive biker. She barely escaped only to be rescued by Hero, who was simultaneously attracted and ashamed of her at the same time. Embarrassed by her size and wondering how he would be seen by his fellow bikers plagued him.
Hero ended up falling for Brin, but the cruel comments and snide looks went on and on by some of his MC brothers as well as the club women who wanted Hero.
To make things worse, Brin was beaten and brutalized again and again in spite of Hero swearing to protect her.
I thought the body shaming was taken a bit too far, and was relieved when Hero finally got past that.

This one was hard for me to read, and I almost stopped reading quite a few times.
I love a good plus size heroine, but Brinley was a mess. She had absolutely zero self-esteem and the way she talked about herself made my skin crawl. These things weren't helped by the fact that the H and his MC buddies made shitty comments about her body when they first meet her.
I did like the fact that Hero ends up realizing that there's more to Brin than her body and that he becomes attached to her personality first. But the fact that he was so worried about what people would think of him being with a plus-size woman skeeved me out.
It was an OK read, but I don't think I'll be continuing the series.

Hero is my favorite brother and there is something about him even in the other books MS Zolton just gives him that it factor. Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and passion, strength happiness and funny. The story of sensational feelings that can run through the body while reading. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

Loved it
First time author for me but I really enjoyed this book. Brin is a BBW with no confidence. She is sold by her father but escapes and makes her way to her sister in another MC. Hero offers to make her his old lady to keep her safe. He isn't prepared to not only like her but to fall for her. He works on building her confidence in her looks.
I will try other books by this author.

Good book
This was a solid book but my biggest struggle was how over the top Brinley was with her self-depracation. I understood thr preamble to the book and explanation. I'm a larger girl myself...but it was leaning on the side of too much. At some point, get some self esteem. I do love though that Levi really loves her. Overall a solid read but that really bothered me about the heroine.

This was probably the disappointment ever. The portrayal of the FMC was absolutely disturbing and full of self-deprecation.
Did the author even have this reviewer of proofread, it was filled with typos and grammatical errors.
Last but not least, if you’re FMC is going to be a plus size character, how about considering having the the book cover up either reflect that and now show the complete opposite instead or just not address a body type all together?

Brinley does not get treated well by her father. Being sold to pay her fathers drug debt and then having a lot of fat descriptions makes for a hard time for Brinley. I am glad that Hero is able to look past everything and be with Brinley.

WOW. Brinkley was such a insecure person who found her willpower to fight. At times I want to slap the whine out of her. Hero was strong enough to bring out the person she really was and found more than he expected. She described herself as fat yet he was able to carry her. I don't think she was All that Big if he was able to do that

This was just alright. I was in yet another situation of wanting a specific type of book and unable to find one and eventually just decided on this. I liked the premise but it just felt a little messy and choppy. The characters weren’t super developed either so I wasn’t super invested in either of them. But I liked the tropes

OMG!
I loved reading this book! I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it. I’m not a big reader at all. But this one got me. I think I liked it the most out of the five! I will be waiting on the next collection. Very happy!

Another winner by this author. This book was amazing. Loved the characters. Some really good twists and turns plus action and emotional involvement. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Love this!!
Definitely my favorite in the series so far!! Hero and Brinley are adorable!!!!! I can’t wait to read the next! This series gets better and better with each book! I am really hoping Bloods book isn’t the last and she at least writes one about Crass and Brighton!!!

Surprise...
Super sweet biker story that fit Hero to the tee! Brinley is definitely the damsel in distress needing rescuing so even though she is not physically what we expect for Hero... but she's perfect for him!

Great book

Terrific story and series
This story was suspenseful, intriguing, as well as heartbreaking, but one that you certainly won't want to miss.

This was quite an uncomfortable read because of the way Bri was treated by the club because of her size. The way they treated her was shameful, and I don't think they really had to show their remorse.
It's a real shame because the story is good. There are twists that you don't see coming and parts that made me cry.

Wow. Just...wow. I could empathize with Brinly completely. I I could even relate to Levi and both situations. This one....This book hit me right in the memories.
